I'm highly annoyed by the treatment I have received from Vodacom, after ending my contract and having paid the premature cancelation fee in June, 3 months down the line I find Vodacom listed on my credit report and somehow I was a month in arrears, which I find absurd because for 2 months straight I left funds available in that account because I was informed that there may be an amount outstanding, however no debit order ran off my account from Vodacom. It was only after speaking to the legal department that I was informed that a debit order was scheduled for the 1st of September, but this makes absolutely no sense.. The listing on my credit report has affected my creditworthiness, and has negatively impacted my credit rating and my bond application furthermore I am charged a penalty by Vodacom for a debit order I had no knowledge of how is this fair to me? As instructed I sent an email to pop@vodacom and attached the proof of payment for the amount that is owed to Vodacom and I have also attached my bank statement as proof that no debit orders were requested by Vodacom from the time I canceled the contract till September, I deserve a refund for these penalty fees that u have been charged and with that may you kindly provide proof that my Contract is paid in full and that it is no longer in existence and may you kindly remove the negative listing against my credit report As you may have noticed this is my 3rd Hello Peter complaint as this seems to be the only way Vodacon responds
Highly frustrated by this appaling service vodacom provides to its clients, not only are they pathetic but they have cut of all communications channels, there's no way to get a hold of them, customer care number directs you to a chat bot "Toby" , I'm highly vexed... I have canceled my cell phone contract with Vodacom, payed for the remainder of the months and to my surprise two months down the line my credit report reflect Vodacom and apparently I'm in arrears... reading the comments that have been placed by other consumers made me understand that I'm not the only one experiencing this.. how incompetent can a company be, and all these automated responses you guys provide are not comforting one bit..
I'm appalled by Vodacoms incompetence, I had previously settled my cellphone contract with Vodacom, paid the necessary costs and everything was perfect, now 2 months down the line, Vodacom has suddenly appeared on my credit report stating that my account is in arrears ... how??.. how can I be in arrears and to top it off you can no longer speak to a representative regarding queries and now we left with Toby who's as clueless as the people running vodacom

I'm irked by the level of professionalism displayed by standard bank. I previously had a student achiever account which to my knowledge was closed back in 2014, only to find out that the account was not closed as requested.. I was only made aware of the account which has a balance of 4000 outstanding balance when I tried applying for a bond only to be told that I have an account in areas, Complaint has been made ref : 7034323134 After multiple visits to the bank, and being told that there is no record of my closure request, I spoke to Jody at Standard bank Bayside branch who managed to track the request dating 2014 that was never actioned.. and this is not even the half of it.. STANDARDBANK IS A PANDEMIC ON ITS OWN I pledge to write a negative review everyday at this time till my query is resolved and all outstanding charges cleared
Courtney Adrienne Popham, your customer service is unmatched.. Normally it would take over 2 weeks to get an account unlocked however you managed to do this under an hour.. This is the second time I've been mind blown by your speed, sadly the first time I was to upset to even write a review.. Thank you Courtney
In these trying times one needs to keep a close eye on one's credit report but how does one do so when Transunion can't even assist with granting their users access to their profiles (that are paid for by them).. It's really pathetic how they have a turnaround time of "5 days" when it takes them months to update an address and grant one access to their profile Ticket number : 287868
I recently switched banks, I was previously using capitec and I than switched over to fnb, upon joining I received a welcome sms and everything and in the sms I was promised 100 ebucks which were supposedly going to be credited in my account within 2 working days, till this day I have not received them, Bare in mind the account was opened 30 days ago, fine, I let that pass and never really followed up because I though it was a minor thing.. Now today I wake up only to find that 7400 was debited from my account, a debit order I have no knowledge of whatsoever, I went to the bank at Tygervalley and i didn't get any assistance my matter was not even treated as urgent, apparently they don't reverse funds at the bank no more and I had to call their account department only to find out that they can only reverse it after 24 hours, how absurd 7400 imagine what nonsense is that
