Had motor claim recently and although I decided to withdraw the claim, the service and follow-up was ver good.
Great service at the Hillcrest store. Simpiwe was a great salesman - efficient and friendly. He arranged for delivery and installation plus removal of the old unit. The dishwasher was delivered as promised but the installation guys did not connect the water. Almost flooded the kitchen in when we turned the water on to time the machine for a full cycle as recommended. Thank goodness I was able to assist my sister

I have been a client of Standard Bank for many years. I decided to switch my cell phone provider to the SB offering. They now have two options and I migrated to the "Connect" option. My complaint is as follows: 1. The SB app advertises, and in fact promotes, the facility to top up data via the app - this is not possible for Connect clients and we have to go to the Connect website. They don't even have a dedicated app 2. The SB Connect option does not allow for any international roaming - even for an SMS service. The SMS feature is part of the anti***** system used by Standard Bank. When overseas recently I purchased an esim and was able to receive SMSs - which I did alerting me to a possible *****ulent transaction. The only problem is that I was required to reply to the SMS. I was not able to do this and had to beg someone with international roaming to phone the SB ***** centre. Surely if the SMS service is part of the anti ***** system then SB should make some arrangements for their clients when travelling overseas 3. My third point is that it is simply not possible to speak to a senior SB official - one is always put through to a call centre and they obviously cannot help with the high level query that I am trying to convey as a longstanding client.

I recently had an eye test at Torga Optical at the Grove centre in Mbombela. This resulted in a new pair of both multifocals and readers. What a difference! One expects a good professional job from professional people but the friendliness and efficiency of all of the staff members made the whole experience really great. Thank you Louise and team!
Some 8 years ago I purchased new large appliances for our new home. These included a fridge / freezer, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble drier. After careful research I selected Bosch products. Even though these products may have been a bit more expensive I believed that I was buying quality products with reliable after sales service. The display on the fridge / freezer stopped working some time ago. It is electronic and it is now impossible to read the temperatures. I cannot change the settings on the appliance and have to hope that the current settings are suitable. I ordered a new part and have now been told that the part is no longer available. This means I cannot alter the settings and the fridge is worthless as no one will buy it in this condition. When I purchased the appliances I did not buy models that were cheap and about to be discontinued. I purchased on the basis that I would get more than 8 years use out of the fridge / freezer without having to throw it away. Needless to say I will not be buying a Bosch product again!
Contacted Brad from Pest Control Services in Mbombela to examine and report on an infestation of termites in our house. Brad came out the same day to advise. After removal of the infected cabinet Brad and his team (George - a long standing employee of 40 years and Dennis) set out to eradicate the problem. The job was done within an hour and the area thoroughly cleaned. All in all the team was pleasant and very knowledgeable.

We recently exchanged our gas hob with a new one. In the process we found that the original opening in the granite slab was too small and needed to be enlarged. Jaco and his team responded quickly. The opening was enlarged speedily, efficiently and with the minimum amount of dust! Thanks to Jaco and team for great service
