I lost my phone on Monday 21 October 2024, in a Bolt taxi driven by Nduduzo Myeza. My phone fell in the car that afternoon. I called my phone as soon as I realized that it was missing after the ride, and it just kept ringing without any response. I went to Vodacom to report the phone missing so that they can block it and do a Sim swap. The Vodacom official also called my phone to no avail. I wrote to Bolt that same evening after the new sim card was activated, to inform them about my missing phone. Bolt has not assisted me at all, instead their very *********** staff has been sending me from pillar to post. It's now the 23rd of October, and the Bolt assistants all claim that the driver (Nduduzo Myeza) has not responded until now. It is very clear to me that Nduduzo stole my phone, and that Bolt is protecting him. Their service has been very appalling and unprofessional. I will never take a ride using Bolt ever again!!!
I made a booking for my family to stay at the hotel in December on 17 November 2022. The booking was for the period of 24 December to 30 December 2022. The hotel requested a 50% deposit which I paid on 17 November. Subsequently, I canceled the booking on 15 December due to work commitments and I was informed that I would receive a full refund in 30 days. On 15 January 2023, I wrote an email to the hotel to enquire about my refund as they had not paid me. And there was no response from them. I called the hotel on 18 January to enquire about my refund and the receptionist was obnoxious, very unprofessional and unhelpful. She transferred me to finance and the lady at finance informed me that the money will only be paid on 31 January 2023. I have been very inconvenienced as I need my money urgently. There was not even an apology from the hotel and I'm not even sure if I would even receive my money back. The service was very appalling and unprofessional. I would never make a booking at that hotel ever again. I'm considering undertaking legal action to recover my money from them.
I used the services of Kenzo workshop on 16 August 2023. I paid Kenzo R4500 but he failed to repair the car. He claimed to have repaired the alternator of my car, yet the alternator is still faulty. My car is still dead. He even refused to come back and repair the car after I had informed him that the car is dead again. Kenzo is a *****ulent, conniving Nigerian man who's very *********** and is not even a qualified mechanic. I had requested him initially to perform a diagnostic test on my Mercedes, he didn't as he had **** about having the test machine. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use the services of this business. I'm taking the business to court so that I can recover all my money from them. Kenzo (the owner) is very *********, unprofessional and obnoxious.
I used the services of Batteries and more on 23 August 2023 and it had devastating effects. The 2 staff members who came to remove the alternator from my Mercedes tampered with the fan and ESP of my car. The staff is not qualified as mechanics and they are very obnoxious. The alternator was never repaired yet I paid R4820 forrepairs. The staff blamed my new battery for the alternator not functioning. Ashton (the owner) together with his staff are *****sters and they're all ***********. I have complained and requested a refund from Ashton and he's just ignored me. My car is dead. I would never recommend anyone to use their services as the entity renders ********* and unprofessional services.
I bought 2 wigs from the Wig Factory on 9 August 2023 online. It's been 2 weeks but I still haven't received my order. Their staff is very *********** and unprofessional. They've ignored my calls and emails. I've be requesting them for a refund and they're refusing to comply. Their business practices are ************! It's the worst business ever and i would never recommend anyone to do business with them. Their customer service is very appalling!
I enrolled for CIMA studies in 2015 at this institute and I never attended lectures as I had a personal matter to attend to. I paid the full amount for tuition fees which was inclusive of lecture fees, case study exam fees and lectures, and CIMA exam fees. When I requested from Patience Mokondwa (COO) a full refund in 2015, she blatantly refused. It's been seven years now and I haven't received my R20k. Patience Mokondwa is still coming up with tactics when I engaged with her two weeks ago. I never even wrote any exams or tests yet Patience has the audacity to hog onto my monies. The exam fees for CIMA are usually paid to the Institute in the United Kingdom so that the student can be able to write the exam; in my case Charterquest chowed my money. The requisites for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) are that a student first needs to pass all exams in order to be legible to write the Integrated case study exam; I never even wrote a single exam yet Charterquest refuses to pay my money back. It's been 7 years and I could have earned a substantial return on R20 000 had I invested my money. Patience is very unethical and greedy! People should stay away from Charterquest, it's a scam!!!
I made a booking for the Blyde in Pretoria on Agoda's website on 12 December 2021. Agoda charged my credit card with R2 900, yet the place wasn't available. Immediately after they charged the money, they informed me that they made a mistake. Till today the 21st of January 2022, I have not received my money back. I have written to them on numerous occasions requesting them to release my money and they have blatantly refused to do so.
When I moved into the apartment at Sunette Heights in March, which is owned by Margaretha Snyders, it was disgustingly filthy. I hired a cleaner to assist me to clean the place, Elke (the agent) promised to pay R250 towards cleaning costs which she never did till today. I have moved out of the apartment end October 2020, to date both Elke Nelson and Margaretha Snyders have blatantly refused to repay my deposit of R6800. Elke stated that I won't receive my deposit since she couldn't find a candidate to occupy the place. When a potential tenant was running 5 minutes late to come view the property, Elke wouldn't wait patiently for that individual, she would just leave; she did it twice. It clearly showed that she never had any intention to find a tenant. I have embarked on the legal route to recover my money. The lease is not even valid. I will also report both Elke and Margaretha to the Housing Tribunal. They are both racist.
Thandiwe Shelembe works as an agent for the company. I viewed a flat at 11 Mopani, 189 Cornelis Street, Fairlands on Friday 13 December 2019. She informed me to pay a deposit of R9k to secure the flat and that I'll receive the lease contract on Saturday the 14. There was a bereavement in my family which I informed her about on 17 December 2019; that's when I asked for a full refund. She and the owner both refused to reimburse me and told me I'll only get my money once they have found a new tenant. Then she started ignoring my texts. Beginning of January 2020 I went to her office in Featherbrooks shopping center to deliver a letter of demand and she was not there. I left it with Mushka Heymans. A week later I called Mushka on 15 Ja2020, who claimed Thandiwe is not back at work, Surprisingly Mushka gave Thandiwe the phone. Thandiwe only paid R5000 into my bank account and solemnly promised to pay the rest of the money on Friday. Till today, she hasn't paid my R4 000 and the owner of the flat denied receiving R9000 from me. Both Thandiwe and Mushka vehemently denied to provide me with the owners details. Thandiwe has been served with a letter from the housing Tribunal on 15 January which she hasn't responded to. I have gone to the various entities within the media industry so to expose how devious and deceitful Engels and Volkers are. I'm also engaging with CIPC, Deeds of registration office, SAPS, etc. The Mopani property is now advertised by Maslow Realty for R8000, for occupation on 1 March 2020. The agents from Maslow are Daniel Coles and Angie Fisher. I will not rest till Thandiwe, Engels & Volkers and the owner all face the full might of the law. Justice will prevail. There's not even a signed lease in place. I have informed "Speak Out" at SABC regarding this matter, amongst other media platforms.
