Disgusting of your call centre agents (+27100231317) to refuse to disclose to me where my information was obtained from. I have not opted in for Pineapple to contact me regarding insurance! I shall be taking this up with the Information Regulator.
I am not a client of this business but somehow they've managed to get my email address and keep sending me notice of collections for other people. I've on numerous occasions informed them of such and i still get these emails! I've received an email stating: ''Good day We acknowledge receipt of your email and your point is noted. Kindly be advised that your email address will be removed from our system. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused in this regard. Never been spam called in my life like this company does. On numerous occasions I've requested proof of where they got my details from and their best answer is that because i RICA'd my simcard they are entitled to call me...absolutely disgusting to say the least!
Service was good, installation was done on the agreed date. The contractors used could improve on their communication with clients especially if they are running late. COC was sent out to me 1 week after installation which was great.
I've had 2 claims with naked and the process was by far the easiest! 👌
Been using tracker since 2015, which i had with a value added service of R55 which i later cancelled (the value added service that is). Been paying a monthly premium of R320 ever since fast forward to October this year, there's a new debit order of R55, called the call centre on the 7th of December at 14:33 (05:39 call duration) to query this and Lungi tells me that i signed up for this service on the 9th of June 2022, I asked for proof of this agreement of which she mentioned that I spoke to someone from tracker, I've requested the voice recording of this date 9th of June 2022 which i was told will be available after between 2 to 5 working days. Called again on the 9th of December at 12:28 (03:40 call duration) was told that the retrieval of the recording was in progress. Called on the 14th of December at 07:48 (call duration 03:40) was told yet again that it's still in progress. 20th of December at 13:40 i received the following email '' Good day Thank you for your enquiry. Kindly note, the Theft Rescue policy (R55 per month) was cancelled , but was auto reinstated by the system in September. We have requested a refund of the amount debited from September, it will take 7-10 working days to clear. Theft Rescue - R55 per month In the unfortunate event of your vehicle being stolen or hijacked, Theft Rescue will provide you with: - Rental car - Use of a rental car for three days, delivered to you with the first tank of petrol on us toll fees included. The vehicle will be delivered to an address of your choice and will include accident, theft and hijack insurance. - Phone - A mobile phone and R300 airtime. We can assist you with RICA requirements. - Cash - R3 000 in cash. - Trauma Counselling – You’re entitled to four trauma counselling sessions of one hour each - Theft Rescue Emergency Pack – provides you with contact numbers to assist you in blocking your stolen bank cards and blacklisting your stolen cell phone. Warm regards Joan Matlhasela Insurance Administrator T: (086) 060 5040'' Clearly not what i was initially told by Lungi, called on the 20th of December at 14:18 (11:32 call duration) to enquire about the call recording and i was informed that the recording was never logged or requested by the supervisor who is currently on lunch and will call me back before end of business. Called again on the 20th of December at 14:33 (14:22 call duration) and i was told that the R55 was from 2015 (the one i cancelled) and its reflecting as a separate debit order because they've split the two amounts and all this time I've been paying for it (not true! I've been paying R320 all along). Really disgusting to say the least.
Paid them in Feb, fines still not settled and now there's a court summon. Rather not fall for their discounts
This is not a legit business, a scammer pretending to be a receptionist, quotes person and accounts. The company is not registered(checked on bizportal.gov.za) Asked for their registration number, they hung up the phone and haven't been able to get a hold of them since. Called businesses in the area, they do not know of such a business. They couldn't even spell the street address properly. They are not a supplier, they are scammers!
