Wold class catering by Chef Howie of Howiegourmet
What a pleasure it was hosting 50 people, (restricted due to Covid), to our wedding at Shepstone Gardens. The catering by Howiegourmet was excellent from the stunning selection of canapes served after the wedding ceremony. The dinner itself which was plated, so all 50 people were served at the same time by the waitering staff. The menu was pre chosen to allow for personal taste. The food personally prepared by Chef Howie and his staff was world class. as was the cheese platter to end the meal.

Shepstone Gardens : A stunning wedding venue
What a pleasure it was hosting 50 people, (restricted due to Covid), to our wedding at this stunning venue. Everything was as we planned starting one year prior to the event with Alex Watermeyer our planner and nothing went wrong. She held our hands all the way from our original ideas and guided us through all the things needed to make the wedding a success till the day itself. She was there organising from first thing in the morning till the guests left at night. The gardens were beautifully done as were all the flower arrangements. The catering by Howiegourmet was excellent from the stunning selection of canapes to the meal itself which was plated, and all 50 people were served at the same time by the waitering staff. A coffee bar from AVI was as popular as the bar. All the staff were excellent and after we were introduced we were always addressed by name

Clicks system problem resolved

System problems at clicks pharmacy
I have been trying for weeks to get my profile working for my chronic medication. phone calls and emails are answered but no solution is offered. I am trying to have my medication delivered rather than go and queue in a busy pharmacy . every operator has a different solution and head office did not help at all.

Ampath ( Morningside Mediclinic) superb empathetic service
After a terrible experience at another outlet of Ampath I went to the Morningside mediclinic branch where the service was superb and helpful and sympathetic to my medical condition. I don't know how two branches of the same organisation could be so different

Ampath (Bryanston) horrific attitude of staff
Horrific attitude of the lady at Ampath Bryanston who refused to take my blood tests because I did not have a form with the doctors name on stating it was ''the law"' so I got back in my car and went to Morningside Mediclinic where the service was superb.

Move the VIP way with Little loads
Little loads have moved house for me twice now and family another time. Still the same staff from the first time 4 years ago headed by Claude the owner. Not a single item damaged or broken. My furniture is all expensive with an antique longcase clock dating back to 1700. Claude even went the extra mile to collect new fridge from a local hyperstore

Management indifference
Today we spent almost 3 hours trying to get out of the Makro car park at Woodmead. Total indifference by Makro management who said it was not their problem the traffic lights are out. My last visit to Makro which is a pity because their prices are good.

Pharmacists who really do care
The pharmacists are always pleasant and helpful. However this week I needed medication but the doctor had no access to his rooms so the undertook to contact the doctor for a script then order the medication on my behalf from the manufacturer.
