I had a Nedbank overdraft facility which had a small balance of R2070.20 outstanding as at 25 November 2022. I was in contact with Lucy@NRBrisk Solutions who sent me the letter and I paid the amount that was due and received a settlement letter. Now almost 3 years later, I check my credit reports on Just Money, VCCB I see that I now owe R1380 for this Account. I have sent all the letters and proof of payments to these Credit Bureau's but nothing seems to have been resolved. I have emailed Lucy @ NRB Risk Solutions with no response. Whats the matter with these *****s.
We bought the iKhokha Mover device from Builders Warehouse (Tokai), which we received 09/09/25, I spoke to an Agent (I think her name was Rashida) on the Website Chat Portal for assistance regarding activating the Device as we kept on receiving an error: Marchant not linked to Device, I was assured that this would be resolved within 24 hours. The Issue as of today has still not been resolved and we need to use this Device to run a business. I spoke to Teniel on the Website portal today who said the matter had been escalated. Why state the the set-up is easy when in fact it is not.
My Partner has a loan with Direct Axis which is paid via Debit order every month on time. On the 8th of October, my partner in Error transferred money from her FNB Chq account into her Direct Axis (Loan) Account for the amount of R2100. I called Direct Axis on 8/10/24 explaining the situation and they insisted on speaking to my partner. At about 6.00pm on the 8/10/24 my partner phoned Direct Axis and explained what had happened, we spoke to a consultant by the name of Nomhlandla (I hope I have spelt correctly) and she said she would email my partner a Affidavit as the proof of address is in my name, this never came through. I then on the 9/10/24 sent them an email (which they have to me) with all the required documentation, ID's, Proof of address, Affidavit etc, only now to find out they the Affidavit is Invalid? Seriously, they sent me the Affidavit to fill out, date and sign, which I have done, this has taken a whole day of back and forth between myself, them and my partner, and we are getting nowhere. Its s simple Case of refunding my partner her money into her FNB Chq account, it is not rocket science unless you require a urine and blood sample.
CELL C, I don't even know where to start. The whole event happened last year in 2023 around Nov/Dec when I was told that I could upgrade my cellphone contract via an Agent who phoned me and also who then whatsapp'd me, unfortunately I cannot recall his name. The Bottom line is: I was not due for an Upgrade but he was trying to sell me a new contract, after numerous phone calls with CELL C explaining that I did not want the phone as it was a new contract and it was not affordable, the Courier arrived at my gate with a cellphone, not the one I had so called ordered but a Blackberry? I spoke to him over the fence and told him, the phone was not for me and I had not ordered it. I phoned CELL C who then managed to recover the phone and I thought all was said and done, unfortunately not, I have now been HANDED over to NIMBLE GROUP that I owe CELL C money because of this new Contract that I took out, which I did not. I then did a credit report on one of the Bureas and sure enough there was CELL C with an amount outstanding of R290 I recall or thereabouts. I then contacted the Bureau and explained the situation and they have confirmed via email that the DISPUTE had been sorted in my favour and will be lifted off my name, in the mean time, I now have NIMBLE phoning me about money outstanding to them? Please can NIMBLE get their act together, it is a measly R290 odd rand and I have been handed over, completely ridiculous, get your facts straight first before damaging a persons name.
On the 24/4/24 I received a telephonic call from Nimble and spoke to Nosiphwe regarding an Edgars Account that was in arrears that I apparently owed money on. To my horror, the account was opened using a copy of my ID in 2021 during lockdown. I was advised that I must email them a copy of my ID, with 6 signatures and an Affidavit stating that I did not open the account which I did on the same day. I have since been given a reference number but I get phoned weekly by Nimble asking me to settle the account and each by a different agent working there. Do their systems not cater for making notes on their system stating that there is an ongoing enquiry and this is ***** case? Please STOP phoning me and sort the matter out, I am waiting for copies of the contract that was signed and also copies of the slips where and when the purchases were made. Untill then, stop harrassing me and wasting my time.
On the 27/5/24 I took my dog Bruce to my VET as he was not eating. The first VET who saw him gave him some tablets and we went home, the Cost R1440. By the 28/5/24 he was still not eating and I took him back to the VET, this time the VET advised it would be best if they did xrays, which showed he has come sort of obstruction in his stomach which was very worrying, so I was advised that they would need to operate to remove the obstruction, so he was admitted DUE to the OBSTRUCTION. The Vet then phoned me later that evening stating that even though he had this obstruction they could not remove it as he had somehow contracted Tickbite Fever (x2 parasites) that were now in his blood stream, attacking his red blood cells and I was advised to pray and there would be chance of his death, as devistating as this was, we prayed and held on for dear life. The next morning, we went to collect Bruce as it was Voters day and he was looking better as they kept him on a drip and dosed him with meds. The Bill was just over R5600. Understandably I know that I only have Accidental cover with Dotsure, and I enquired twice with Dotsure, one on the day of the event when he was hospitalised and a couple of days after. The first agent said I could claim for the hospital stay over night and the 2nd agent said no, you cannot put a claim in as it was not Accidental but illness related. I had received excellent service from Dotsure previously and was hoping for some understanding with this as he was actually admitted due to the obstruction, the tickbite fever was only realised after the VET did tests, had she cut into him, he would have bled out on the Table. All I would like, is for Dotsure to at least reconsider my claim and payout for the Hospitalisation for 1 night. I did on the 30/5/24 changed my policy to include Illness Benefits.
We bought a Goldair free Standing Fan in Dec 23 from Builders Warehouse Tokai, the fan has been giving us issues a month after purchase, the fan won't come on unless we manually try and turn it and this can take up to 10 minutes to get going. We have oiled the fan on a regular basis due to the heat in Cape Town but it goes well for a while and then stops turning. I do not have the purchase slip from Builders but happy to supply pictures.
We ordered a Skyworth surround sound system and a Queen Bed Base and Set around the middle of February on-line. 3 Days later the Surround sound was delivered and we were Super Impressed. Since then we have been calling non stop to find out when our bed will be arriving, only to be told daily that the bed is on order from their supplier. The Website stipulates 14 days to process the order, it has been more than 14 days, we are still waiting for an Agent to come back to us. We are unable to phone the Warehouse that supplies the Bed, agents don't seem to understand the Urgency in this matter. If we don't receive a response by this week, what alternative do we have but to Cancel the order? All we are asking for is an estimation of the delivery date.
This is such a long story I doubt all will fit into the review I am allowed. A Gentlemen by the name of Mezaan contacted me from Cell C at the beginning of Nov 23 stating that they had a Samsung S23 Ultra cellphone on special and that I was eligible for an upgrade, even though I questioned him about this, he assured me that even though the upgrade was next year in May 24, I was entitled to a new upgrade 6 months early, I found this odd but we went ahead and did the deal over the phone. After a week I heard nothing from him so he whatsapped me stating that he had been in hospital and that the order had been cancelled and we had to redo the application again, which I found also strange, I redid the application and left it at that. 2 Weeks later a Cell C consultant phoned me, her name was Neo and I questioned her about the application for the Samsung S23 Ultra order I had placed, she stated that Cell C had no stock and therefore the application was cancelled but she also said that they had a Samsung S23 Fe on a black Friday Special for R499 pm but if I wanted the Samsung Watch too it would be R599 pm, I questioned her to make sure there were not 2 Orders pending for me and she said no, there was no order for the Samsung S23 Ultra so I went ahead with the application, thinking all along that this was an upgrade, only later to find out that this was in fact a NEW Cellphone Contract they were trying to sell me, I had to phone CELL C to get this information over the phone, apparently my upgrade is only in May 2025 and not May 2024, so I phoned Cell C and Cancelled this order as well and also got confirmation from Mezaan via whatsapp that the orders were all Cancelled. Today almost a month later, a Courier Company called Courierit arrived at my house to deliver a cellphone, I told him I had not ordered any cellphones' and that he should leave, I did NOT sign for anything. I have contacted Courierit as they sent me an SMS to say that Moosa ***odien had delivered the cellphone to me which is complete nonsense, I did not sign for it. Not only do I have to deal with Cell C now a courier company blatantly lying that I accepted the order, to top it off it was a Blackberry phone? Someone is committing ***** here by using my name. I have been told by Mezaan that I must go to the police and open up a case, surely CELL C can see on their system who placed this order on my behalf?
Courierit sent me an SMS on the 4/12/23 stating that a Moosa ***odien was on his way to deliver my parcel from CELL C, I wont give the reference number due to confidentiality reasons. When he arrived I stated clearly that the delivery was not for me, I did NOT sign for it and sent him away. I phoned Courierit and spoke to Bianca who said she would investigate and call me back, I am still waiting. The link on the SMS states that Delivery was made by him, when in fact I did not accept the delivery and now I have a legal battle on my hands with CELL C as well as they were delivering a Blackberry cellphone to me which I did not order. This is so unneccessary at this time of the year, now I must go to the police station and lay a case of *****. Waste of time.
