I sent R200 to a family member through money market not knowing that you have to have a money market to receive the money. The family member doesnt have a smart phone and need the money to buy food items at shoprite. I have been emailing them for almost 6 weeks. I asked them to refund the money back to me and they refuse to do that. They want me to open a money market account to which I have no intention of doing. I dont recommend sending vouchers to a needy person using this method.
I bought a dishwasher from Takealot. I opened it after 7 days after delivery due to my kitchen being renovated. On opening everything looked fine and we connected it. The dishwasher was put in its place and i noticed that on the right side of the door there was a dent. You have to actually put your hand on it to feel the dent because of the reflection of the light on the unit. Due to this dent the bottom front piece of the dishwasher doesnt fit properly. I called takealot on Monday morning to report this and was told that I must deal directly with Hisense as it is under warranty. Now Hisense is telling me that it wasnt reported within 7 days so they cant pass a credit. I expected them to send somebody out to at least come and look at it. I explained to them that the box wasnt damaged so there was no need to open it and check to see if everything was ok.
I have a fnb sim card for probably 5 yrs now and its on prepaid. So for the last month it just stopped working. I phoned into their call centres and nobody could resolve the problem and then I was told to go into a branch and do a sim swop. That was another story. They couldn't even pick my number up on the system. After an hour I was told to do the sim swop onlline. I tried that and it doesnt pick it up either. I'm at my wits end. Please can somebody help me. I cannot get or make any calls or send and receive messages to my phone. It says no network and insert sim card.
This is a terrible company. The people that work there are incompetent. They dont resolve anything. Whats the use of emailing or calling...they dont even get back to me. I have spoken to 6 different people and every time I have to tell the same thing and they all say they will sort it out. What a joke......
My cruise was cancelled due to the lockdown. I'm waiting for my refund. I have sent emails to Alison and have had no response. They dont even answer their telephone.
I had a flight booked for myself and my daughter to fly to Durban in March to go on a holday cruise but flight was cancelled due to the lockdown. I requested a refund but was told that if I cancel( which I didnt) I will be charged a certain percentage which is ridiculous. I was then given a voucher which is valid for a year. I have no intention of travelling by air or going on a cruise in the near future so why cant I get my full refund back as this is a global pandamic and no fault of mine. Come on Flysafair have a heart and refund my full amount back. Or even better sell my ticket to somebody going on a business trip and give my full refund back please.
I booked my msc cruise with them and the cruiseliner cancelled due to the lockdown. I was informed that msc has supplied a voucher for the next cruise season. I informed sa travel online that I want a refund. I'm still waiting on their response.
