I bought a Ryobi 2700 watt generator from Builders warehouse in Jeffreys Bay in December It was used to power a 300 watt egg incubator during loadshedding The regulator spring broke for some unknown reason Contacted Ryobi in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg to enquire about a replacement spring According to head office in have to buy a complete carburator Sent an email explaining that the regulator spring is not part of the carburator 10 days ago and have had no response Port Elizabeth said they would get back to the salesman at Builders14 days ago Was also told that the part I require Is not covered by the guarantee I own industrial Ryobi chainsaws and brush cutters which are used on the farm If this is the kind of after sales service I can expect from Ryobi I will have to replace my equipment with a reliable brand
I ordered a pair of boots online and true to form RTT couriers lost the parcel Arishka from Johnsons quickly arranged a replacement which was then delivered she must be commended for her excellent customer service Thank you
Stanlib does not even deserve 1 star. Their service is abomnable to say the least. THis issue has been going on since the 26 March 2020 when my forms were submitted for the first time (having been told it would take 3 to 5 working days). Weeks later we were informed by the local Standard Bank advisor that Stanlib wanted something else. This was submitted by him on the 15 April 2020 to Stanlib. Eventually an email received by STD bank advisor from Stanlib on 4th May 2020 informed that it had been escalated and that the monies would be available that week, including an apology from Stanlib for the delay. Eventually on 14 May 2020 after nothing had materialised I put my first complaint on this site. There were a few emails between Ingrid of Stanlib, and since nothing. Neither myself, the Executors nor STD bank advisor have had the decency of information pertaining to this situation. A simple release of my funds that was supposed to take 3 - 5 working days has now become 2 full months........ WHAT A DISGRACE!!! What does one have to do to get even an update let alone your own money out of this Institution?????
have been trying to get hold of our local advisor who sporadically responds to emails, never returns phone calls. Not only from me but from my attorneys as well. The matter at hand was supposed to be sorted out 2 months ago. Even before lockdown it was a nightmare to contact him via phone or email.
i have been trying to get funds released from a stanlib investment since the middle of April trying to contact via email or call centre is a waste of time according to the local advisor i am not the only one having problems with stanlib this is the worst service i have ever had i have just sold my business and will definately not be investing with the stanlib circus
