I went to VW Knysna for service on the 13th of Jan for service on my VWPolo Vivo. Service recieved was very unsatisfactory. Firstly, I was promised that I will get a courtesy car however it is not guaranteed as they only give out 1 car a day. I accepted that. On my arrival I was told that the car was not available as it was already booked out for someone else so one of the guys will take.me to work. I accepted that without arguement. As I was waiting, the lady assisting asked if I can take a Suzuki as a courtesy car. I agreed and she said I must wait while she is getting one for me. I waited for about 30mins and she came back suprised that I was still there, she literally asked "are you still here" and I was also suprised because I was waiting for her to come back with the Suzuki car. She then said I must wait again. I waited and she came back a few mins later telling me that there are no cars even at Suzuki so someone else should take me to work. From 07h30 I left the dealership at about 08h30. I didnt complain not even once. I was told that the service would take about 2hours hence I did not mind when I did not get the courtesy car. I waited for their call until about 13h00 when I called them and I was told someone will get back to me. At 15h00 I called again and I was told to wait again someone was busy calling clients so my turn will come. I never got any call until I requested my colleaugue to drive me to the delearship at 16h00 to get my car and when I got there, tje car was parked and waiting for.me to collect, no wash no cleaning even inside as expected but ok(it is my responsibility to clean my car) I didnt complain. I was given my keys with no service report or service book as it was my 1st service on the car as it was a brand new car. I was told that the systems were down the service report will be emailed the next day. Almost 2 weeks later, no service report recieved. I mentioned problems with the car that I wanted them to look at but they still there. May I get at least the report so I can see what was done so that I can be able to book again for the issues I mentioned.
In this place you pay alot of money for a mediocre service where you can't even watch what you want on tv....😏
We bought a a brand new Toyota starlet cross through Buffalo Toyota Mthatha for my wife as a gift. Buffalo toyota mthatha spoilt all that for me by giving me a car that was full of fine scratches all over the body like it was washed numerous times with sandy clothes..if you can see the scratches on these shiny pots after being washed with steel wool, that is what the car looks like, we did not notice that on delivery as they can only be visible if the car is on a sunny spot. But we do have a video that shows them when we were leaving the dealership. We logged a complaint with the dealership 2 days later as we got the car on Saturday, so we reported it on Monday. The matter was escalated to Toyota SA at the same time. The response that we got was that the car will be taken to a panel beater for polishing and the smash and grab will be redone as it also had bubbles due to poor fitment. Imagine buying and paying for a brand new car and then you have to take it to a panel beater before you can drive it...yeer what a disappointment...everyone beware of these people.
I bought a stove with oven in December and now the stove is not working because the power cable is burnt, I returned the stove to the Chatham branch in Mthatha where I had bought the stove, they sent an agent to fix it and the agent said that defy has declined the claim so I must fix the stove myself and I must pay him R800 to fix the stove, as I was desparate for the stove to work I paid sthe agent but still the stove is not working and some parts have been removed. Lewis can you please assist me with my stove because I bought the stove from you, I don't know the issue of defy and agents. I was assisted by Eulla Mketso
On the 21-12-2022 I went to Lewis stores Knysna branch for a complaint about a bed "Restonic Majesty 152 cm" that I bought there. my account number is 006683. The matrass of the bed has worn out after only a year. I was told to come back after 15th of January as the staff of the suppliers are probably on leave for the season. I went back there on the 28th of January. I was told that I will get a call Monday last week for the replacement Matrass. I have been waiting for that call until now... can you guys speed up your service.....the wires of your matrass are damaging my sheets.
So Lewis stores knysna branch doesn't have a stamp? 2 hours later I am still waiting for my settlement letter...they can't get it right because their stamp is faint...what a wow!!!
Worst service ever..my ride was 3hours late and the only answer I could get from the driver was that he does not know anything about being late all he knows is to drive the bus...it is not his duty to communicate with me.....wow is he an outsourced driver? This answer shows that he is not part of your company....the Bus was from knysna to Mthatha on 12 Oct 2022...it was supposed to pick up at 02:05. Only arrived at 05:00
I signed up for a router which you were very fast to deliver and ask me to pay for the activation, but 4 days later after i pay, your router still not activated ??i have been trying with your so called superstars and none of them managed to activate it, instead they give me different excuses on why it can't be activated which are very lame...i think you should come for your device and just refund me.
I am getting called by cartrack attorneys to pay money when i still have unresolved dispute with cartrack. they messed up my car when trying to install a tracking device, then they towed the car to East London for repairs, they never paid for the repairs i had to pay for about R7500.00 to get my car back, because cartrack said it was not their fault as they feel the damage was not tracker related, but they never gave me a report about what was actually wrong with the car, as i was waiting for the report i get a call from their attorneys to pay the towing fees.
