Vodacom has been spamming me to upgrade despite me telling them and writing to them via email that I am cancelling my current plan. They call me 4 times a day despite me stating verbally and in writing that I do not want to be contacted by phone call and would prefer emails only. This company is an absolute **** and I would stay far away from them if I were you. They have made cancelations SO DIFFICULT. They should be tried in court for this ********* practice.
I've been trying to cancel my cellphone insurance for 2 years to no avail.
One of their senior associates are spreading hate speech across social media. Think twice before supporting a business that condones working with associates that are ****phobic.
I recently bought a house through Karen van der Walt at Remax Living in Cape Town. Compliance certificates were provided to me by Karen very late. Upon having my own assessments conducted with independent contractors, they found the house to be non-compliant. The agent’s conduct was disappointing and what I consider to be unprofessional on many levels. The agent blocked me on WhatsApp after I asked her if she was aware of the broken pool, compliance issues along with many other faults not divulged by the seller. Unfortunately I would not trust a Remax agent with this process ever again. Reading all of these reviews on Hello Peter is extremely illuminating.. from terrible service to racial profiling, seems Remax has it all. I believe that one should not buy or sell property through this business nor should they do so through Karen as my experience with her was one I do not wish on anyone.
I had a great experience purchasing a coffee table from the joinery firm. They were professional and the craftsmanship on the table was phenomenal. I appreciated their communication skills, service delivery and turn around time. I will certainly be supporting their business again.
My products arrived in the country 2 weeks ago. Aramex requested customs payment 5 days ago and I am still waiting for delivery. I’m so sick of nothing working in this country. Why can’t people just do their jobs / companies deliver on services paid for by customers? It’s exhausting and frustrating. It seems that once money’s been handed over, there is little to no incentive for these businesses to deliver adequate service.
Dermastore is the best online skincare store in SA. I’m always so excited to explore their website as it’s masterfully designed and intuitive. The product selection is also adequately diverse and premium. They ship extremely quickly (max 3 days from purchase to delivery but more often than not, next day delivery) and keep their customers updated at every step of the way. Their packaging is gorgeous, really considered and fun. I also love that they always include a customised letter providing customers with detailed information on how to use each of the products we’ve purchased. Dermastore also always adds a handful of super nice samples to every order and I very much look forward to unboxing so I can see which lovely goodies they’ve spoilt me with. They’re just the best 🥹
It’s taken me about 2 years to write this review. I’m still broken and heart sore. My cat died due to negligence on behalf of Dr Riaan Pont. He had just started at the practice as a super young doctor after his service year. I brought my *** in to panorama for an emergency late at night - the doctor failed to do basic checks on him (I told the doctor that he was not eating well at all and lethargic and that he hadn’t used the litter box in about 2 or 3 days.). The doctor gave me some tablets and told me he would be fine. He passed away that morning. Dr Riaan Pont told me over the phone after my *** died that he could not conduct a thorough check due to the cat being too “busy” and anxious. I asked him why he didn’t tell me - I would have taken him somewhere else to someone who could help him. He didn’t respond. My cat died from a gut obstruction that should have been easily picked up upon palpation of the gut - a basic and simple examination which should have been done first when I told him my ***’s symptoms. He didn’t do it and because of it my companion died. I will carry this heartache and pain with me until I die. It hurts me every day and every time I think of him I am shattered. I will never forgive the incompetence of Riaan Pont or Panorama Vet Clinic.
I'm a new home owner and have been with BetterSure for 5 months now. At the beginning of March we experienced quite an intense storm with heavy rain and wind. On the day of the storm, the wind blew debris into our drainage system and damaged it, resulting in flooding of a room on our second floor that same day. We showed and explained to the assessor what happened regarding the debris and storm damage, they left and later that week invalidated our claim. In the policy it states that we'd be covered for storm damage/flooding as a result. This is a direct contradiction of the cover policy and I believe BetterSure digs deep to find loop holes to get out of paying their clients. It's super gross. I'm just grateful to have discovered their ****ming ways so early on, rather than a few years down the line. I see all of the premiums paid to them as wasted money. No one should insure an asset as valuable as a home with these people, unless you enjoy throwing money directly into the bin every month. STAY AWAY. Choose literally any other company.
I bought 2 Amazon Echo Shows from Hifi Corp's online store, one for me and one for my dad so we can stay in touch as he's getting too old to efficiently use his phone. One of the devices wouldn't let me log into my amazon account and it's been advised that it is highly likely a pre-owned device. The device is not usable in any way. I immediately requested an exchange or refund. It's been 2 months since I contacted them to lodge a return or exchange and they've not responded to me with anything other than "this matter has been escalated". How long will they escalate the matter... another 2 months? Is Hifi Corp selling second hand / faulty goods to customers and then dishonouring their returns and exchange policies? Is this even legal? I might as well have thrown my money into the bin at this point.
