I have been a customer of Engen for years. Engen's slogan is "with us you are number 1" Unfortunately I am not experiencing it at all. I have been reporting a problem in capturing decimals on the Engen 1 App for close to a year now. All that gets reported is that the IT team will fix it with the next update. But this is not happening and no feedback is received about any progress or potential completion date. I phoned the Call Centre, but at the end of the day he could not assist and also just abruptly ended the call. This is definitely not the kind of service you would expect from a large company like Engen. So in close, with Engen you as a customer are not always number 1.
I have used the Engen 1 App for a few years to capture my fuel usage on 2 vehicles. Suddenly in about May of this year the functionality to capture decimals on the Engen 1 App did not work any more. I sent numerous e mails to Engen Online Support without any success of fixing this small issue. The IT support on this APP is non existent. Please be careful in using this App due to the unreliable support from Engen. It is now nearly the end of November without any proper feedback from Engen of when this will be resolved. Very disappointing for a huge company like Engen not to care about its customers.
First group puts out a holiday special for 5 nights at one if their resorts. To qualify you need to answer a few questions and submit a form to them which i did. An agent contact you via whattsapp to select a resort an dates which i did. Just before confirmation of the booking they send you a few qualifying questions. But in this instance you need to be between 25 and 65 years old. I fell out of this qualifying critera and therefore did not qualify. The problem however is that the age requirement was not included in the initial advertising or the form that i submitted to them. I see this as misleading the public. I would not have bothered to go through all the effort to apply if i new this in the first instance. I did call them but they did not want to hear or accept my explanation. Be carefull of special promotions from this company.
Most frustrating to be able to resolve a dstv streaming issue. The chat box is useless. Tried with 2 so called agents to resolve my streaming issue without any success. DSTV are trying to improve systems but is actually making it worse for users because if ongoing system issues. Its terrible to pay for a system that you cannot use. I am fully paid up on my monthly dstv streaming fee but suddenly i cannot access dstv streaming any more. There is nobody you can talk to just a useless chatbox. If DSTV get a local competitor i will change to them immediately.
Be very carefull in allowing Pam Golding to manage your homeowners scheme. Their collections department just dont perform. I have left messages, sent e mails about queries but dont get any feedback whatsoever. This was specifically addressed to a person called Tina Tamboer. Never available to talk to. Very frustrating.
Xstream geysers may be a very good product in the South African market but dont try and purchase a product from them. I tried on a few occasions just to get some pricing with very little success.
The Engen Application to capture fuel data is very unuserfriendly with very little support from the Engen Technical Team. I lodged a query to investigate my issues and got no feedback or assistance from the technical team. Don't waste your time with this application to assist in controlling your fuel costs.
If you are using Stuttaford Van Lines please make sure you take out insurance. They damaged a very expensive dining room table when transporting our furniture from Cape Town to Montagu. Although it was clearly their fault they did not want to accept any responsibility. The table was also covered with a blanket which they did not remove when unloading just to hide the damage. Not service and actions you would expect from a company like Stuttaford Van Lines.
Please make sure you read the small print when signing up as a member of Vacation Hub International. When i signed up initially i was led to believe that once i paid of the amount for my holiday, i will be a member for life. What was not explained to me was that you never stop paying until you die. There is quite a substantial admin fee that increases annually that you will pay forever. You will therefore never be able to pay off your holiday with Vacation Club International.
Please be careful in doing any business with Bestinternet. There call centres are not working and they just don't respond to queries via email. Impossible to get hold of them. They generate debit orders via your account without a service being present. None of their phone numbers via call centres or whatsapp numbers are working and it is therefore impossible to get hold of them.
