No water for a week. Phoned several times - the problem was “escalated several times. Promised by manager it will be fixed by the night shift. Big lie. No help, no communication about the problem but lots of lies and no service. 👎
Beware: Makro deliveries are a disater. I now had several bad experiences at different occasions, ranging from not honouring their promise of timely delivery (I waited for nearly a week and had to contact them to initiate the delivery) being treated rudely when contacting the courier company informing them that I will not be at home during lunch time (with the idea that it would help them planning not to turn up at a closed door), etc. Please be warned!
It is a risk to take your car here. They charge excessive amounts - example: R1050 for windscreen wipers (new Merc wipers cost just over R 700. I was schocked by their incompetence: I requested them to fix my side mirror. They told me I will have to pay between R4000-8000. On my firts call I got one for R1500. I discovered that their Mercedes specialist (as he was introduced to me) had no idea how to take the mirror cap off (one clip needs to be pushed aside tot take the cap off). I had to refer him to YOUTUBE. He did not know that you need to loosen two *****s to dissemble the light and replace it. He again affirmed that I must replace the whole unit. They kept my car for more than a week, struggling with something else the could not handle. During the week I spoke to them several times and was blatantly **** to several times! Beware of The Garage - Dunkeld. You may risk it - but be warned, the risk is great!!! You will only have yourself to blame!!!!
I ordered a high quality handheld fan (Jisulife f4) as was offered by Amazon and was sent a cheap generic fan (the dfferences are battery life, air strenbth and control, solid material vs cheap plastic, etc). I immediately send a request for a return with the explanation why. I was told after a day that I am responsible for the return costs via courier (that possibly costs as much as the product). Imagine: I must pay because they send me a vasrly inferior product. This opens the door for serious ***** - send the wrong inferior product and then place the financial burden and responsibility on the client. BEWARE - FOR YOUR OWN ‘SAFETY, STAY AWAY FROM AMAZON. I DELETED MY APP AND RATHER USE TAKEALOT AND OTHER E-SHOPS THAT ARE MORE RELIABLE.
Is this a new **** at Woolworths? I bought small pies (5 for R35) and was cheated several times - when I got home there were only four pies in the packet. Once might be a counting mistake, but several times? One pie is obviously left for somebody else's. consumption!?
I had the same experience twice now. I ordered stuff online from Pick “n Pay and have chosen a time slot for delivery (8h00-10h00). I moved my appointments accordingly. Nothing happened - I waited in vain. After 10 I phoned their customer care, was told to stay on the line while they investigate - but was cut off. I waited a while hoping for a return call without success and then phoned again to try and make new arrangements, also without success. Since I had to leave I was forced to ask somebody else to wait for the parcel, hoping it will arrive - which it eventually did. Bad experience!! The online order system is totally unreliable. Not to be recommended.
I left an email on their website stating my problem with the promise to phone me back within 15 minutes. That happened and the caller said I will be contacted with the next 10 minutes by somebody else to make an appointment. An hour later nothing happened. I phone again and the told me they have no information on my case. I contacted another provider and was helped immediately. My experience: Drain Surgeon is ineffective and administratively incompotent.
I have written a review about the bad service of Rain a while ago. At the end of September a technician came and recommended that the contract is cancelled since there is no reception. This was done, the appliances and sim cards were returned etc. I was told at the beginning of October that a refund of my fees will be made within 5 days. It is now nearly 3 weeks later. I contacted the Rain support on the 19th and was told that no attention was given to my case up to now.
I was approached by Rain with an offer. I explicitly asked them whether there is reception in my area, and they confirmed that there was. I could not get reception and they offered to send a technician. After some time a technician made an appointment but did not keep his appointment. Another came and informed me that there is no reception and I should cancel the contract. After wasting a lot of time trying to cancel on the web, as the technician told me to, I phoned, waited for somebody to answer (10 minutes in total), and was passed on to somebody who supposedly worked with cancellations, who again told me that somebody would phone me to cancel. I am waiting... cancelation did not prove to be easy.
I was a loyal customer of Takealot but lately their service seriously deteriorated. Only 1 of my last 4 purcheses was honored. Two were not in stock, although they kept on “selling” them on their web after they notified me that it is not available. The 3rd was a walking stick that was completely rusted and seemed second hand to me. The 4 th was delivered after a week and that order was correct. Taking into account all the time to look for something, order it, wait until 5.00 pm for delivery and then again for returns it amounts to atotal waist of time, not to mention the inconvenience. Takealot should be ashamed. I am waiting for Amazon next year - perhaps then Takealot will also take teir customars more seriously.
