Second year in a row where my premium is increasing with more than 20% despite my vehicle depreciating in value. To add salt to this wound they notify you of it and then give you 48 hours to decide whether you would like to accept the new debit order mandate. No claims on this policy ever, yet this is how they treat you. Just steer clear of this company. Just because you can doesn't mean you should....
Love the overall experience of shopping with this brand. The products are wonderful and so affordable! However, delivery time is quite extensive, especially when compared to other online stores that deliver within 3-4 days. It took 7 days for my order to be packed and handed over to the courier and then 2 days to get it from the courier. Then just one or two of their products have an odd smell to them. Other than that I love the brand and the overall quality of the products received.
Their verification method after withdrawal is unnecessarily intrusive. Why do they need a photo of the card that was used to deposit??? Then they also only accept ID CARD, godforbid you should still have a green ID book. They are also not upfront about their fees, you deposit R200 and they take R5 for fees. Their slots also glitch often, often spinning for minutes on end without being able to stop. Something just isn't right about this company. They're intrusive and misleading.
Went in to upgrade my phone earlier this month in the Potch branch and what an awesome experience it was! Nothing was too much effort for Lebo and his team. 100% recommend their team, few places give such good service these days.
Awesome experience with Acer Online store. Ordered my Acer and it was delivered within 2 days. They even called ahead to find out if I wanted the extra RAM installed. Would 10/10 recommend ordering online from them for anyone.
Please pick better delivery than DSV. Handed my card off without checking my ID, could not follow simple instructions, wrong address & delivered at 7:30am instead of after 12 as stipulated. I am a night shift worker, hence I scheduled a time. The drivers are a big security risk especially with not checking identity before handoff.
I don't understand how the banks trust these people for deliveries. Driver cannot read apparently. Specified that the delivery needs to happen after 12pm as I am a Nightshift worker. Yet the driver not only gets the address wrong, but also delivers at 7:30am. Not to mention the fact that he didn't even check my ID, he could've handed off my bank card to anyone. The banks really need to change providers, this is not on.
Our family pets have been insured by Oneplan Pet Insurance for the last 8 - 10 years, and it's just not the same company it used to be. What they don't straight up tell you (and leave you to find out the hard way) is that any diagnostic testing to be done will not be covered under hospital admissions and will only be covered by your casualty benefit (capped at R1400 for my plan). The consultations, diagnostics and meds all costed R5500) Where in your life have you seen that diagnostics cost R1400 - even for humans??? A consultation with the vet alone costs R300 - 700 per vet visit. In previous years this was not the case. They covered diagnostics. This is not the first time butting heads with One Plan either, a few months ago they had the pet double insured after I clearly stated that my mom had passed away (and sent the death certificate), and that the policy needed to be reassigned to me, they debited both my mother's account (which had not been locked yet), as well as mine. As I understand it, it is ******* to double ensure an object??? Even after explaining this to them they still have not refunded the amount deducted from my mothers account (which they said they would). Strongly considering cancelling this policy as it is just not worth it to end up spending R300+ on the insurance then spending an additional R4000 for her vet bill, and then not even mentioning the food. I would rather put the R300+ away every month for these events, instead of spending thousands throughout the years only to be met with unreasonably stringent conditions. Sad that a relationship that spanned almost a decade should end this way.
If I could rate them 0 stars I really would. Ordered Online on the 28th of February 2023 - my first large order with them. The one small item arrived within a few days. The second item (a dishwasher that was on special) did not arrive though. The day before the expected delivery date I lodged a ticket online to enquire when the ETA is as the product hadn't even been shipped yet. Someone tried to call me once and I was unfortunately stuck in traffic when they called so couldn't answer (it was the end of the day after all). The really went out of their way to contact me, didn't they?! (Sarcasm) The next morning (Tuesday the 7th of March 2023) I started a chat on their online portal where I was informed that my order had been canceled on the day of the order already. Needless to say, I am highly ****ed off about this. When I ordered there showed that there were 3 Bosch 12 place dishwashers available at the price of R5 499.00, I ordered and it was confirmed via email. The lady on the chat informed me that it has been canceled (still doesn't show as such on the Order Details). When I enquired how they could FALSELY ADVERTISE that they had 3 available she informed me that those were probably faulty machines. This is unacceptable. As I write this it still shows that there is one available at the price of R6 299.00- a coincidence that the price is now higher??? I think not! This is unethical behavior and disgusting customer service. 0/10 for communication skills 0/10 for ethical standards 0/10 for customer satisfaction 0/10 do not recommend supporting their online store - I surely won't be after this. To make matters worse my money (my hard-earned money that I work for) will take 7 - 15 BUSINESS DAYS to refund. So they get to build lovely interest on money that I should be having in my account. This is disgusting that their staff think that this is a respectable way to treat paying customers. Had I not followed up, I probably still wouldn't know that my order was canceled. Please close your online store - it is neither convenient nor customer friendly.
I understand that business is evolving but I am really and truly unimpressed by how this business is evolving. I used to purchase all my nail products from their store in town. They have since closed the physical store and we have to make purchases online now. I wouldn't mind if the process was efficient, however, it has been a pain in the ****. Ordered my products on the 18/02 and paid their exorbitant R150 delivery fee. On the 22nd I still had not heard anything about my order or the expected delivery date. It has now been almost a week since my order and still no product whereas if I had gone to their physical store (that is now closed) I would've had my products already and would've been able to use them as I would've like to - without having to pay R150 extra just for delivery. Not to mention how long their application takes to load products which result in wasting customers' time to browse. Instead, I now need to wait for their snail mail. That's after I have already had to follow up on where my order is on Wednesday. Really unimpressed with their customer service and delivery time. Will be searching for an alternative product because as much as I love the product, I really hate feeling like just another order to a company that I really supported these last few years.
