Last week Thursday (30/09/2021) I went there for a medical examination. What a pleasant experience. Booked my appointment the previous day online. As I walked in 15 minutes before my scheduled time, I was greeted with smiles all round. All paperwork was completed efficiently in a few minutes. Exactly at the appointed time the doctor (Dr Maree) called me. He was friendly and very helpful. Listened to my situation and gave me a script. All short and sweet. Thanks guys for a great service.
Last week Thursday (30/09/2021) I personally took my twin tub washing machine to them for a quote as the washing side of the machine started to make strange noises when doing my washing. It was around midday. I was informed that the technician is out on a call, but that he will look at the machine as soon as he has a chance. On Wednesday (06/10/2021) I phoned them at 16:25, when I got home from work, but got a voice message that they are closed and that I must call back during office hours. I called again on 07/10/2021 at 15:42. I spoke to the same lady who assisted me on my visit on the 30th. She said she will go and find out what is happening and will call me right back. This morning (08/10/2021) at 08:45 I phoned again as I still have not had any response from anyone. I spoke to Nakita, who said she will quickly go and find out what is happening. She gave me my Job Card number:34793. It is now 15:01 and I am STILL waiting for feedback. I have decided to go there tomorrow, Saturday (09/10/2021) and get my machine back as I am not prepared to pay R30 a wash at a laundromat. Will not recommend this place to any of my friends.
I enrolled for an online course through Stackskills some time ago and have just enrolled for two more courses. Their service is excellent, the instructors are very knowledgeable and the best part is you get lifetime access to all the material, Videos and exercise files. You can go back and watch the same video as many times as you want, until you understand what is required from you. The best part is that a lot of these courses are bundled courses, so you get a LOT of material in every course and bundled courses are discounted. I got a total of ten courses for $30 (R450) or 9 courses for $19 (R280) or the complete course on Financial modeling for $10 (148). Real value for money.
I received a notice that my Anti Virus will expire at the end of this month on the 1st July. As I did not receive any news about my payment, made on 01/07/2021, or that my license has been renewed, I contacted them this morning at 08:00. As it turned out my bank did not process the payment yet, due to the fact that I did not use my normal, EFT, method of payment. I processed another payment and by 11:00 I had my invoice, and new license. Great work by a great team.
I ordered an external HDD for my laptop yesterday at 10:15. It was originally scheduled to be delivered tomorrow before 17:00. Today I got a SMS informing me that my order is now scheduled for delivery today before 17:00. At 14:10 I got a call from the delivery driver that he is on his way to deliver my purchase. At 14:20 I had my item. Thank you Takealot for another excellent delivery. Fast, efficient and friendly service all the way. I bought an identical HDD about two years ago and know that I just received another good product.
About a week and a half ago I went to Incredible Connection in Cresta Centre as I am in the market for a new laptop. As I walked in I saw one person leaning with his back against a display counter busy on his cell. Another person was busy on a computer behind a counter along the left hand wall. There were three ladies on my right behind a counter looking at their computer monitors. Nobody took any notice of my and after walking around the shop for about ten minutes I realized that nobody is going to assist me and I decided to leave. As I was about to leave two people came into the showroom from a back office or room. They were so busy talking to each other that they did not even notice me. They are the only supplier in Johannesburg of the laptop I am considering to buy at this stage but as I was leaving I once again remembered why I decided a long time ago never to go to Incredible for anything, as their service and customer care sucks.
A few minutes ago I received a call from Capitec's Fraud Department to tell me that someone tried to access my account with some very suspicious information. They asked my if I have authorized such a deal. When I told them I knew nothing about the matter, they told me they would cancel the request and mark it as very suspicious in the event that the same people try the same thing with another account. Thank you Capitec for being so diligent and watchful. I really appreciate it.
Once again I have had the most awesome experience at the Telkom store on the upper level in the Cresta shopping center. I went in to get more info on their October special. I left about 30 minutes later with an upgrade to my previous package all signed, sealed and delivered due to the great assistance I received from Londiwe Kgobalala. The staff at this store is always friendly, knowledgeable and very, very helpful. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL.
I have been having a lot of trouble with my Internet connection for some time now. I decided to get a new modem. On Tuesday 29 September I went to Matrix Warehouse in Melville, Johannesburg. I explained my problem and asked if they had the make and model I saw on-line. They informed me that my choice is quite expensive and Lynn quoted a price, I told her the price I saw was lower than the one she mentioned. She went on-line and checked the price and availability. As they did not have any in store she said she will let me know as soon as it comes in. Surprise, surprise on Thursday I get a message that they have another make and model available in store for a lower price than my previous choice and that the one I was looking at is only available on-line and that delivery might take a few days, but if I want the one they had, I could pick it up that same day. I collected it that afternoon, got home inserted my sim card and everything JUST WORKED. No more problems thanks to Lynn and her team.
On Monday I received a notification that my monthly premiums will be increased as from the 1st of September. Yesterday I phoned Discovery and spoke to a gentleman called Kabello. I informed him that I have lost my job because of Covid-19 and that I now hardly ever use my vehicle, except maybe twice a month to get emergency supplies. I asked him if there is any possibility that my premiums could be reduced. He asked my to hold on while he checks with the relevant department. No need for me to be transferred, he did the work. He came back after about thee minutes to inform me that my premiums will in fact be reduced from the 1st of September. What a great service. Thank you Kabello for a job well done.
