Don't work at any of these companies as an independant contractor, fixed term or perm employee. You will be left without a job. Bul****, belittled, ostracised, threatened, character ********ations, force you out, put you on PIP so that they cna have a 'legal' reason to get rid of you. This organization needs to be taken to Labour Court and fined.
Read the documents sent to you. Telling me something that happened a year ago is 'still within 60 days' because you cannot compute that it read as 2023 TWENTY TWENTY THREE and think it's reading as 2024 TWENTY TWENTY FOUR. Just because, what, it's happening in the same month as a year ago. Yassssssis
I've had to cancel my subscriptions just over 2.5 years. In those 2.5 years at least 2 years has been the following issues 1. Internet dropsnconneftivity 6-8 times a day. 2. After 20:00 everyday the speed drops significantly. I have a 50:50 and I would get 1.4:4.5 speeds for over an hour before it shoots up and stagnates at 14:15 speed. The 'free to use router'. They will expect it back even after it is faulty and you made them aware. Now they want to invoice me for that router and they better NOT dare try and charge me their price but market related prices or I will report them for price gauging and ****ty services to the ombudsmen
I was with them for just over 2.5 years. My connection would drop and continue to connect and disconnect after 20:00. Every evening since I got them as my ISP and yeah sticking with them for 2.5 years is a long time. They tell you that the router is free given that you stay with them for a year, which I have done. They tried to tell me that the router was the issue and then attempted to sell me a router with a mark up Cost of R600 from what I could get off takealot. They expect you to give back the old router that they said was not functioning properly without replacing the router they say remains their property, so that they can what give this router to someone else and do the same thing to them. I have not had an ISP be this horrible with expecting a router back that they did not replace to continue to have ownership of after the 1 year period - they ****. I do not recommend you choose home-connect as your ISP of choice, unless you want them to take your money and offer poor service in return that they throttle after 20:00. You increase the price in December 2023 and again in April 2024? You expect to get R60 more monthly in a 4 month period
Agents close the chats on your secure chat option without resolving my issue. They drag on the issue until past closing time and now I have to wait through the year end public holidays.
I settled my amount with a settlement generated and agreed. Then they create another one and tell me the amount I settled isn't enough and I have to pay more. That's not the agreement as per creating a settlement. Interest cannot possibly go up within 20minutes of paying. They better close that account. Don't use them.
I have been phoning the personal department and the call has dropped 20 times. Its 2022 how the **** is this still possible.
Whomever created your app needs to go back and practice some more. I cannot read a single thing because of the overlapping colour choices that makes it impossible to read anything. You cannot have dark background and then purple font. Lol. My speed is supposed to be 20 upload and 10 Download. It's 1.76 upload and 0.60 download. My connection is very regularly throttled and load shedding cannot be blamed. Its an ongoing issue since signing up.
The fibre to the home is prepaid. If the invoice they send is unpaid within a week they start with their empty 'letter of demand' threats to pay for a prepaid service, Eish, and they then suspend the Internet which is their perogative. One invoice was unpaid and when I paid for another month they already disconnected the line with Vumatel and now ask for R999 to reactivate. Tsek! Activation takes days but deactivation within one day. I will not return to them as they also throttle my uncapped no throttle package I selected. Rather save yourself from the headache and go with another ISP.
Great service, always have an excellent SweepStar. They are fun to chat with and really thorough work done everytime. Never disappointed after a clean, they always come and ask if they need anything or help.
