Arranged to view a Ford Ecosport pre-owned vehicle at Audi Center Westrand this morning. We travelled from Vanderbijlpark and got there quite early but was told by Jacques (salesman) that the car was sent to the valet and will be back at 14:00pm. This was not what was discussed and agreed upon. We spent some time in the area until around 13:50pm and on our way to the dealership, I got a message from Jacques, informing us that the vehicle will be on site at 14:10pm. We arrived at around 14:00pm. At around 14:20pm I asked Jacques again what was happening but he kept telling us that the car will be there in 2 minutes. This never happened. At 14:50pm I approached Jacques again but now his story changed and I was informed that the vehicle never went for a valet but was in fact borrowed to another client for the day. The car arrived at around 15:00pm and I consulted another sales lady instead. I reviewed the car and asked for some discount. I was told that I need to speak to the dealer principle to which I agreed to as I also wanted to report the ********** service I received from Jacques. This is where everything went sour. The sales lady escorted me to the dealer principal's office. We entered and for about two minutes I was ignored as a customer. The principal. Louis Nortje, went off on the sales lady as she tried to explain why I was there in the first place. During this time, he lost his temper twice, once hitting the table with his fist. After some time of Louis going off on the sales lady, he turned is attention to me where I had to introduce myself to him! I explained my entire ordeal to him and he requested Jacques to join the conversation. During this time I mentioned to Louis that I was told that the selling price of the car was R109 000.00 and that I opt to do my own roadworthy and registration but was told that the price now was at R115 000.00 due to dealership fees. I actually asked for discount but now the price went up. This was mentioned to me by the sales lady at around 15:10pm. When Jacques joined the conversation, Louis went off on him as well and Jacques made me out as a lier, telling Louis that he did indeed tell me that the car was NOT at the valet and that the price was R115 000.00. I told Jacques to his face that he was lying...twice! Louis went off again on both sales persons. This issue, I my mind, was not addressed AT ALL by Louis, in fact, the service and professionalism he displayed was APPALING and DISGUSTING to say the least! I subsequently cancelled the purchase of the car due to the ********** service I received from Jacques and Louis. My warning to the public...I wish that NOBODY EVER need to deal with Louis Nortje, especially after seeing first hand how he deals with problems and especially, CLIENTS! It is not Audi Centre Westrand that is at fault but some of their employees. I take my hat off to Koketso who assisted me like a professional all the way. I will also report this to Audi South Africa.
I got a 1000mbps fiber line with Vumatel and Afrihost as service provider. For months I complained about reduced line speeds. I think I spoke to 20 different consultants at Afrihost via the Whatsapp help line. Each and every time I am being asked the SAME questions over and over again. I insisted to have a technician visit my premises and sort this out but guess what? On the day the technician came, the line speed went up miraculously to 1000mbps! This without him doing NOTHING and confirming that my setup was fine. He even stated that I am being throttled. For the next couple of days my line speed was fine until 3 days ago. My line speed dropped from 1000mbps to below 100mbps. Again I complained about this on Afrihost's useless Whatsapp line and AGAIN I was asked the same lame questions. I stated to the consultant that he must have a look at my previous issues and that my setup was fine but STILL he insisted that I take screenshots of speed tests etc. I even phoned the customer care line (again). I was asked to send screenshots of my line speed....NOTHING HAPPENED OF THIS EITHER. The irony is that I am getting 100mbps and paying for a 1000mbps.....I will surely be looking out for a more trustworthy and honest service provider! I went through the process in obtaining a medical fund with Discovery health. When all was done, we arranged that the start date of cover will be 2022/11/01 and that a premium will be deducted. To my disgust, Discovery took 3 month's premiums as "someone" made a mistake. After two weeks of battling, NUMEROUS calls and emails, being lied to by consultants as to when the money will be paid back into my account, having to change my bank account and unanswered emails, I came to a decision to rather cancel all my products with Discovery. After explaining in MUCH detail of what my terms were, NOBODY responded to my emails apart from a "apology letter" which someone in a call center sent me. Some of these people are managers with Discovery (Chloe, Yolandi, Johan, Muhammed) which never even responded to my mails. For those who choose to go with Discovery Health as a partner, know this...when they ****** up, expect NO assistance from them. What you will experience is LENGTHY calls to the call center (45 minutes+ at a time) without NO resolution. The service I received is PATHETIC and I surely will not recommend Discovery Health a professional partner.
We got a 1000mbps line but for the last couple of days our line speed has barely reached 400mbps. I have logged two calls with Afrihost as they need to escalate to Vumatel. After 2 calls logged, no success. What is more frustrating is that there is no way in contacting Vumatel directly. POOR POOR SERVICE AND NO CUSTOMER RELATIONS AT ALL! I am cancelling my service with immediate affect.
We've ordered the followed the following from Mr.D in Vanderbijlpark - crumbed prawn tails, White Bait and Haloumi sticks. We received 2 haloumi sticks in comparison to what is being presented on their website. The whitebait portion of fish was far less than what is being advertised on their website and the prawn tails looked like calamari. My wife went back to Ocean Basket and complained about this issue. She was told to take it up with Mr.D as they wanted no part of the matter. Exceptional poor service from Ocean Basket in Vanderbijlpark and Mr.D. We were told to await feedback from Mr.D/ PATHETIC!!!!!!!!

Last week I bought a dishwasher, Sony HiFi and washing machine at Hifi Corporation next to President Hyper in the Vaal. I was assisted by Andile. The service we got was exceptional. However, today I went there again with the intent to purchase a 75" TV. I ran a bit late but got to the store at 14:58pm only to find that it was already closed. The notices against the windows clearly states that closing time is at 15:00pm. I called one of the shop attendants and asked about this. He said that the store is closed and they ALREADY CASHED UP???? before 15:00pm???? I asked for Andile again but was not even entertained...just got an answer that they will not help me. I will take my business elsewhere as I was appalled by this response. Clearly your shop is being run by arrogant, lazy people that does not stick to the rules of business.
I posted the review on 2020/10/25 last month. Burger King South Africa did not even bother to review my complain. Their service and especially after sale service is pathetic. They started well in Vanderbijlpark but have deteriorated (especially their service) to a state of concern. "On 2020/10/25 at around 15:00pm I purchased about R420 worth of burgers and fries from Burger King in Vanderbijlpark. We received our order and left for home which is about 10km away from this business. When we got home we started to hand out the burgers to my family but noticed that a burger was missing which we never got and all 6 the soft drinks were flat, warm and NO ice. I took the drinks with me and returned to Burger King. I produced my slip and inform the staff of my problem. They said that they would "solve" my problem and gave me another burger and replaced the 6 soft drinks with new ones...this time with ice. I asked how this "problem" happened and I was rudely answered just to hear..."how must I know, I did not prepare your drinks and you got new ones, right?". I left again in disgust with such bad service. On our way home I asked my son to hand me one of the drinks. This time around it was so sweet that it actually burn my throat. Now, I did not even bother to return with this "new problem" as I just had enough. I just had to bring this issue to your attention as Burger King was my restaurant of choice since it opened in Vandebijlpark but lately I've heard some complaints from my friend about sub-standard products. I've never had any problems until now. This might just change my mind about how I feel about this fast food chain".
