This review concerns the rudeness of a driver and not the quality of service provided by MDS Collivery. We expected a parcel which was promptly delivered. However when the delivery vehicle was at our gate, the driver kept on hooting like crazy to catch our attention. On the delivery / waybill slip there was a phone number to contact. When confronting the driver why he blew the hooter all the time, he rep****, that it is not his problem that we have no intercom. When asked why he does not call me on the number provided on the waybill, he rep**** he had no airtime. When I said that that it is not my mistake that he has no airtime, he rep**** and shouted at me that it is not his problem, that I do not have an intercom. It is sad to see that courier companies employ such rude employees. Thus please beware of their rude drivers.
SANI VAN RENTAL - EVER!!!!!! We rented a normal single cab pick-up from Sani Van Rental, same as Sani Fleet Rental,as they advertise from the same website. On thursday, 29.08.24 about 14h00 we lost a tyre due to hitting a pothole on a dirt road at low speed, about 60-70km/h. At 15h00 we informed Sani Van Rental Road Side assitance on 083 401 1973 to inform them that we require urgently a new spare rim and tyre. After having sent them our location we were informed that a local agent will be in touch with us. The local agent was Sani Van Rental - Kathu. We completed all forms required and had them returned to them before 16h00 the same day. Its now 4 days down the line, no spare wheel and we are stuck at Groblerhoop waiting for a new spare tyre so we can continue travelling. SANI VAN RENTAL - bad service, including their so called local agents in Kathu and / or Bloemfontein.
Do not trust Takealot suppliers!!!! We recently bought a new powerbank Model P-05 rated at 20000mAh. Before usage we charged it for 2 days and made sure its fully charged. It indicated that it is 100% charged. We then used it to charge a cell phone. The powerbank immediately dropped its charge status to 50% and when the cell phone was plugged in, and was fully dicharged when the cellphone was only charged a mere 20%. How can this be called a 20000mAh powerbank???? What a piece of ******* Takelalot sell. Never used to be like that. Do no longer buy equipment from takealot.
On 11.04.24 I made an online purchase. Immediately after the transaction I received an SMS from my bank that the transaction was successful and the items purchased amount was reserved from my bank account. A very strange thing happened. Makro online prompt said "Awaiting Payment". The payment was still being awaited after 4 days. After calling Makro 4 times, I am being told that they did receive the money, but they do not know why the status is still "awaiting payment". Furthermore I was being told the account department has to resolve this issue. Upon my request what is going on or what is the delay, I was being told that accounts will resolve the problem within 24-48 hours. Eventually the person that assisted me left me on an open line without responding anymore and just using up my air time. I eventually after 8 minutes and no response, informed them that I will terminate the call and did just that. It is rather ridiculous not to get an answer to a very basic question - why was the payment, which reflects in MAKRO's account, still indicated online as "AWAITING PAYMENT", and why was the product not procured.
VODACOM - DO NOT TAKE OUT ANOTHER CONTRACT - But even if you don't have contract with them, they will still charge you, and if you do not pay, will list you with a credit bureau!!!!!. This is the second complaint within 14 days. After having listed me for bad debt (I have no contract with Vodacom) and thus impacting negatively on my credit rating with any credit bureau, I sent Vodacom a completed ***** form pointing out the issue. I got a response from Vodacom that this is an error on their behalf. No appologies, no delisting of my name with the credit bureaus, and to top it all, I have to go to a Vodacom shop and transfer an account, that I never had, to now transfer it to the actual owner who always had a contract with Vodacom. HOW BIZARRE AND *********** CAN YOU GET. Below their response: "Good day Please note ***** investigation has been completed and kindly find the Investigation outcome, This matter does not relate to ***** but account error - Mrs ******xx is the owner of both disputed lines: ************x & ***************x. Mrs ************ upgraded both numbers on 24 Feb 2022 - see Order No ***************xx. transfer of ownership can be requested at the Vodacom store . Regards ************"
Vodacom lists you at acredit bureau for outstanding debt although you do not have an account with them!!!!!!! - this reflects very bad on your credit rating - worst of all, you can not contact anyone to query the origin of such an amount. This is a true sad state of affairs, but it shows you what the big corporates are able to do to the man on the street. I have recently been informed by a bank that according to various credit bureaus I am listed as having an outstanding short term debt of R 10 203 owing to Vodacom (Reference NA108627) . Once I was informed I immediately tried to contact various departments at Vodacom telephonically, only to be told I must contact either 082 1946 and 082 1905. Both call numbers request either an ID number / and / or phone number. As I do not have a Vodacom contract or phone number it is not possible to enter a number. When requested to enter an ID number, the system prompt informs me that my ID number is incorrect. Subsequently I drove to Vodacom Headoffice in Midrand / Gauteng and asked one of the operators to type in my ID number, which of course is valid. I was informed by the operator, that there are no contracts against the ID number. I further asked the operator what can I do to enquire about the origin of the bad debt, I was told to call the two numbers as he/she can not assist me in this matter. I strongly recommend to think twice before using Vodacom as a service provider!!!!!!!
This company is selling a Clamp on ultra sonic flowmeter that does not work, and does not perform as per specification. The model we purchased is model F8. Not only does the manual not tie up with the flow meter, the help and back-up we got from the supplier was shocking. The correspondence in English was unacceptable. We eventually found out that the flowmeter is no flowmeter at all, because everytime the pipe would be empty and refilled again, the flowmeter had to be re-calibrated. The flowmeter never worked. When we requested a replacement unit or a refund, the request was point blank ignored. We strongly recommend not to buy any of their products based on our experience.
As per previous reviews about this supplier, this is the third review published by me regarding this supplier and my order : Order for CigoPX Wifi doorbell - O#15211, value R2198.00, which still does not reflect on their system although the order was placed and paid for on 30.11.2020. Even after having threatened to take them to court and 14 email requests later to support@pclinkshop.co.za as well as enquiry@pclinkshop.co.zathere there is no further response. I believe its time to publish the name and address of the director of this business.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY EVER - they might be cheap, but their delivery promises are not valid based on passed experience - and worst of all - they do not respond to telephonies calls or email requests!!!! We reported this company as not reliable and advised not to use this company anymore dating back to the middle of December 2020 as we never received responses to our enquiry for a product which we paid for in full. (The order number received via mail does not even reflect on their on-line order tracking) We are now more than a month later and the only response we got during the middle of December after numerous requests and warning them about resulting legal action, was, that the product will be delivered in the last week of December 2020 or in the first week of January 2021. We tried to call and made 7 further requests via email to enquire about the product. We are now in the second week of January and have not heard of them. Having read through all the negative reviews of the company, they must be sitting with a lot of money!!! Never ever will we use this company again!!!!
Not recommended - This is the 2nd order we placed with PC Link. We had forgotten that it was PC Link who promised delivery of an item and failed to inform us that the supplier has no stock. Eventually after 3 weeks we contacted them and wanted our money back. Within 2 days we received our product. We now ordered a wireless video doorbell from them on 30.11.2020. PC Link confirmed payment and order number. We have requested a few times feedback on our order. 4 email requests. To date we have received no response . To top it all - when entering the order number PC Link sent us, their systems prompts: - Order does not exist.
