Hi everyone. Just a friendly warning when it comes to Absa's credit cards. If they tell you that you qualify for a credit card, please avoid them or if you want to take the credit card, ask the consultant the following questions in person. Dont talk over the phone. 1. How much is my monthly payment? Consultant told me only 3% of the total outstanding balance. 2. Will there be any additional fees ontop of that 3%? She looks me in the eyes and says NO SIR. I asked again, are you sure? She says yes sir. The 3rd question you must ask is and I only found this out the hard way like many others, "Please calculate the FINANCE CHARGE FEE on the total outstanding balance". I promise you they wont because if they did, you will walk out of there. I pay R2000 per month on my outstanding balance which im happy with because then I have credit available right? Wrong. 6 days into the new month, Absa will deduct from that available credit an additional R1500 to R1800, leaving you with nothing or sometimes in a negative balance on your credit card. Then they will send you an sms the same day telling you hey, you better pay up or you wont be able to use this account. It feels as if im paying 2 credit cards at once or like I pay the monthly credit payment on time always and then Absa spends the available credit. And oh yes im not allowed to make payments earlier. I have to wait for the debit date. Even if you dont spend that credit, they will still charge you the FINANCE CHARGE FEE. Dont bother phoning or asking them to explain what it is or why because they will transfer you for free like a telephonic uber service from one consultant to the other and if they do explain, they will tell you to read your agreement before signing which I should have done in the first place but you trust these people when they tell you, YOU WILL ONLY PAY 3% OF YOUR TOTAL OUTSTANDING BALANCE, NOTHING MORE SIR. You got me good Absa, you got me good. Hopefully this message helps someone out there. Peace.
I am sure a bank like Investec services their clients very well, but for potentially new clients looking to join them are treated somewhat like garbage. Your consultants are careless, arrogant attitudes, dropping the phone during conversations or transferring me to another consultant while I'm still speaking. About 3 times. No response to requests to contact me whilst all I want to know is if I can trust them with the business and capital I would like to bring to their bank as a Private banker and using their wealth investment products. Your consultants are literally turning away wealthy clients and pushing them into the hands of your competition. I've never witnessed anything like it in my life. Oh well, I tried enough to realize that Investec is not suited for me and will look elsewhere. All the best to you Investec.
I am unsure if some of the consultants understands their roles or are they struggling using technology or do they have the power to take clients for fools or clown around, but I am pretty sure it might be all of the above. From time to time I decide to close my accounts to put my focus elsewhere. Last year I asked Hollywood bets to close my account. Today I asked them to reopen it again. They asked me a few questions, I had to provide my details, Id number, full names, contact details and hollywoodbets account number. After asking me to provide those details, I had to answer questions. "Why did you close your account, are the circumstances better, have you had counselling etc." I answered these and then they went silent. After 8 hours, I sent a follow up email and repeated the same cycle 3 TIMES over and over and over until I had to send them an email telling them it seems someone is taking me for a fool because there is no way you could not see my previous conversations. In a rogue email they said they tried calling me and also repeat that same email whilst nobody called me. I gave up, just told them to keep my account inactive, I am moving my money somewhere else because that experience was just pathetic. No ways Hollywood bets. Train your staff or get ones who CAN do the job. I can provide almost 6 different reference numbers I received in 1 day. 6!! All one can do is laugh yoh.
I think this betting site is completely rigged. No ways it is blatantly rigged. I have been betting for a number of years, I found my main 5 games I play that ALWAYS pays out, but here on this site? So yesterday I tried buying something on Takealot using Mobicred. At checkout it showed that my account was unverified. I contacted Mobicred and the consultant said its a quick fixable issue, but its not his job. It is someone else's job so what he will do is ask someone else to call me. I asked him when will that be? He giggled and said he doesnt know. Maybe tomorrow or next week. I started laughing and said No work on weekends hey? It was so funny but at the same time I understood why this is such a bad company. Lazy staff who doesnt want to help clients looking for business and laughs at potential clients. Maybe its a sign to rather just save up, buy cash and stay away from Mobicred. Im giving 5 stars coz we laughed about them being lazy and not knowing if or when they will help me. Keep up the funny job Mobicred.
Im sorry, but I have to say this. YesPlay Casino has been thee worst online Casino I might have come accross. After every 5 spins, your games freeze and I get a server error message. Nope. Stay far away from this site. The promotions are just gimmicks. Their winning rate is absolutely horrible. You keep on depositing but win nothing like the games dont even give you any features. Well, seems like I was a little bit too enthusiastic with Vantage Debt Management. Within 6 months of my process I settled all my debts. 8 months earlier than expected. After my final payment, I was told by Ouphula that it will take +-14 working days to get my clearance certificate. That was in early October. Its almost mid December and I am hearing different stories of "there are backlogs, we did receive your certificate it just needs signing off, you will receive it on Wednesday, then Thursday and the last one was last Friday." Now I have to get another company to remove my debt review flag and obtain my clearance certificate. Ouphula even stopped responding to my emails of only questions I am asking. Bottomline is, don't go under debt review no matter which company. Rather negotiate your payments directly with your creditors and debt review companies, please put in extra effort especially to people who managed to pay off their debts way earlier. Don't throw lies around like the Vantage Debt Management workers. This clearance certificate is crucial to me as I am in the process of applying for a bond and I need to get all my things in order, but even when explaining this matter to Vantage Debt Management's admin, you can clearly hear in their voices that you are not that important as a client to them. Nobody is and when they give you the feedback, you can hear that they are feeding you a lie. If theres anyone else who can refer me to a company that can clear me from debt review and get my clearance certificate, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you.
