Unfortunately had to cancel a well planned "girls trip" for January 2026. A deposit was paid in November 2025. Request for a refund was submitted before 20th December 25 with explanation and all required documents as per their refund process/policy. To date I have not received the refund and even though I have made weekly follow up calls, and I keep getting promised soneone will call me back, th call never comes... It is very unfortunate that I have been experiencing this very unpleasant issue as I was looking forward to rescheduling a trip at a future date. Not so much now...
Telkom Once again for the umpteenth time you have messed up Banking Account!!! I paid my debit order EARLY to AVOID this!!! Debit order paid on 16/12/24, payment reflected as successful and will reflect in app within 24hours. Today is the 21st and I wake up to unpaid debit order which leaves my account in a deficit and also unpaid CLAIM by Telkom. I NEED A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE WE KEEP HAVING!!! I am tired of calling and making arrangements and emailing and logging disputes! Someone better CONTACT me because I am tired of running behind Telkom due to the lack of competency and clearly an outdated D/O system. Or my next option will be to take legal action.
A huge thank you to Dipho( F4746295) and Diane (F2781204) at FNB Mall of the South branch. Wow, what excellent customer service. After unsuccessfully trying to redeem a voucher at Shoprite, I decided to go into the branch for assistance. These ladies then preceeded to guide me on how to redeem, which is to first go onto the ebucks website and claim voucher and thereafter to use my ebucks card.
Surprisingly delightful little gem tucked away in the bustling south of Johannesburg. Beautiful peaceful ambience and the food was amazing. Tried the linguine sorrento but replaced linguine with gnocchi, a match made in heaven 😍 Our waiter George was so accomodiating and attentive to all our requests. We were unaware that we needed to book, especially when it's a public holiday but we were still shown a table. Definitely will be visiting Vera Vita again.
Current situation, my sleeping baby and I were meant to be on an 8am Greyhound bus to Durban, upon arrival at the station, there are mishap pen snake queues because busses are delayed. To make matters worse, when a bus does come you have to meet it outdoors as they do not have permits to enter premises. As I type, we are still awaiting our 8am bus, with no explanation of when it will arrive. I was excited to know Greyhound was back in business but now I'm convinced I should stay with #intercape
Intercape budget liner is a BUDGETLINER for a reason, think very carefully before making that booking. You pay for what you use, from the worst cramped space, and zero convenience facilities (think a basic arm rest) to late departures and unnecessary stops, not the most ideal long distance transport mode.
Apparently I was a winner in the #WIN competition for August... I was emailed and asked for my particulars, however. To date, I have still not received said winnings... Very disappointed

I recently ordered a fairly decent deal from Rain, #WIN, they have a very effecient turn around time. Upon receiving my package I was contacted by agent to ensure that all was in order, thank goodness for the call because it was not the deal I had originally requested, they did a quick work of canceling the order. And all this in a day. I am awaiting feedback and anticipate that is will be soon.
I am happy to share that I have been assisted proficiently and most effectively by branch consultant Bevan Du Preez at the Davenport, Durban branch. She is always willing to go the extra mile even if query is not in her department, she does her best to find out the relevant department. I have not waited for an extended period of time for my queries to be resolved. I have gotten the most out of my FNB experience because she has educated me on various products and the benefits of having them, for example, a Will. Thank you Miss Du Preez and keep up the good work!
