If there were zero stars, I would select it — unfortunately HelloPeter does not allow that. I am posting this because I was harassed, intimidated and spoken to disrespectfully by a Bradlows credit agent. My account is one month in arrears (December). I had already informed Bradlows that I had suffered a family bereavement (the death of my mother) and that I would make payment by the end of January. This was communicated in advance and in good faith. Despite this, I have been receiving constant calls. Today, a female agent whose name begins with “M” spoke to me in a hostile and humiliating manner. She told me I should not have taken goods if I could not pay, dismissed my bereavement, and then went further by telling me to give her my home address so she could come and collect the items. That interaction left me feeling threatened, disrespected and intimidated. I did not refuse to pay. I explained that I had suffered a death in the family and would pay at the end of January. No South African consumer should be spoken to this way or threatened for being behind after a bereavement. Especially when they gave notice prior. I am even considering escalating this matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) if this conduct continues.
I honestly cannot believe the absolute mess and DISRESPECT Uber South Africa has put me through!!! I requested a ride, and they DEDUCTED money. Then I requested AGAIN, and they DEDUCTED AGAIN and guess what? It’s been a whole WEEK, and they STILL haven’t refunded me!!! The following day, SAME STORY!!! I requested, they took the money, the DRIVER CANCELLED, and when I requested again, THEY TOOK AGAIN!!! Now I’m sitting with multiple payments deducted from just three requests, and Uber is still pretending like I owe THEM money, when THEY owe ME three refunds that are still pending!!! And as if that wasn’t enough, yesterday’s experience was the final straw!!! The ride showed R32, but after the trip it suddenly JUMPED to R156, claiming I “owe” them, even though they already owe ME money from all these shady double and triple deductions!!! The driver ended up having money deducted from HIS account, and I had to transfer R156 to cover THEIR mistake!!! And STILL Uber claims I owe them!!! I am absolutely DISGUSTED!!! I hate Uber South Africa!!! I will NEVER EVER use this service again!!! If I could rate them ZERO stars, I would, honestly, they don’t even deserve ONE!!! Uber South Africa, FIX YOUR SYSTEM, FIX YOUR BILLING, and STOP *****ING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
I wouldn’t even give ABSA a single star if I could!!! Their service is absolutely shocking!!! How can a ***** line — where people are calling because their money is in danger — keep you on hold for over 20 minutes?! Completely unacceptable!!! When someone finally answered, the consultant was useless!!! I asked for a manager — “not available.” I asked for the call recording — she didn’t even know how to get it!!! After wasting more time, she told me to email actionline@absa.co.za for it myself!!! No reference number, no urgency, NOTHING!!! This bank is making millions, yet can’t even manage a proper ***** department!!! Capitec answered within seconds!!! ABSA clearly doesn’t care about its clients!!! My issue is still not solved, and I’m beyond angry!!! Worst experience ever with any bank!!! ABSA, FIX YOUR SERVICE!!!
I recently visited Clicks in Wakshop, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. The store was supposed to open at 7:00 AM, as stated on the window display, but they didn’t open until 9:00 AM! This was during a weekday, which is highly inconvenient for customers who rely on the store opening on time for their shopping needs. It’s frustrating when businesses don’t honor their advertised operating hours, especially when people make plans based on that schedule. I expected better from Clicks, as this is not the level of service I’ve come to expect from such a well-known brand. I hope they take this seriously and improve their punctuality going forward.
I had a horrible experience trying to close my Telkom account. I originally signed up for the R200 80/80GB sim deal, but Telkom upgraded me without my consent to a R250 plan—and without providing the promised device! 😡😠 When I went to a Telkom store to sort it out, they refused to help, saying I needed to visit the branch where I signed the contract—which is 50 km away! When I finally got there, they told me they also couldn’t help and that I should call billing instead. I called Telkom Billing, and they gave me the wrong instructions, telling me to dial 081 180, select option 3, then option 5—but there is NO option 5! Instead of fixing the issue, they sent me to another store 15 km away! I have never even used Telkom to talk or game, yet they keep charging me for a service I didn’t sign up for! This feels like a ****—unauthorized upgrades, incorrect billing, and refusal to cancel contracts. They have been overcharging me for two years straight and refuse to take responsibility! If you’re considering Telkom, DON’T! They will lock you into a contract, overcharge you, and make it impossible to leave.
Scammers. Somehow they got me to invest $20 000.00 and took it. Till this day this is my biggest regret and not even that old. They're also very rude when you take your money off their platform.
My friend went to Cash Crusaders in Altrium Center in Berea Durban, he had recently bought a broken violin and they ignored him when he wanted his money back or when he wanted it fixed
WORST APP EVER... I sent a deposit on the 20th but it still hasn't reflected yet..
