Potential guests should be aware of ongoing issues at GM Place Guesthouse in Glenwood, Durban. Several reports from residents and visitors indicate that the guesthouse operates in a way that may not match its advertising. Misleading Advertising: Although the property offers a “family room,” one of their adverti*****ts explicitly states “No children allowed.” Despite this, children are often present, creating noise throughout the day and late into the night. High Guest Numbers: The guesthouse can accommodate up to 36 guests, which contributes to constant activity, loud music, and general disruption. Traffic and Parking Problems: Vehicles associated with the guesthouse frequently block the street, causing traffic congestion and preventing residents from accessing their properties. I urge potential guests to reconsider booking at GM Place Guesthouse if you value peace, quiet, and respect for residential areas. The current operations of this establishment are disruptive and do not align with the expectations set by their advertising. 🗣️ Guest Feedback: Here are real comments from guests: “The owner of this premises needs to be taken out of booking.com. He is useless.” - Planet of Hotels “We were woken up at 1 am to open up for cars.” - Planet of Hotels “Bad, as a highest genius level contributor, I have never been ill-treated … left so early at the property.” - Planet of Hotels “Honestly felt like we were somewhere in the township backrooms… just a bed and fridge, you have to put everything on the dirty floor.” - Planet of Hotels
I'm not sure how to begin with this one. We received a call from a lady asking why a judgment was about to be issued against her for an outstanding amount. Our company does not use debt counselors to retrieve any debts owed to us, so I was equally confused. She sent me screenshots of the communication showing this, and I called to clarify the issue. I was told to send all the information through for resolution – csu@debtbuster.co.za). This is where the real issue began. I received an email requesting an ID number – but this is a company, not an individual, so no ID number exists. I responded with this clarification. Yet again, I received an email asking for an ID number. I then decided to call them, and what followed was a complete nightmare. It wasn’t until the fifth call that I finally spoke to someone who seemed competent enough to understand the issue. This person explained that they do not handle collections but assist individuals with debt. That’s the first point the others failed to grasp, and that was the issue. At one point, I was even told not to have an attitude. How the hell can anyone not have an attitude when you’re literally forced to draw pictures just to get them to understand the issue? In my opinion, the message the lady received was nothing short of a ****. So how the hell does one explain this to DebtBusters if they do not understand simple English? Could this company not hire people who actually understand English? Oh, wait, I forgot— they only need to score 30% to pass. Seriously, if they're supposed to assist with debt management, how do they understand accounting if they can’t even understand basic communication?
I had the most dreadful experience at City Girl OVERPORT while shopping with my daughter for her matric dance dress. Everything started off fine as she was trying on dresses, but when I went to pay for a pair of pants I found, it turned into a nightmare. There were two Indian ladies ahead of me at the counter, who placed their items down and continued shopping. Despite being next in line, the person behind the counter completely ignored me, rummaging through her handbag for cash instead. When I tried to comment on the poor service, she looked straight at me and carried on with her own business. Then, another lady rudely cut in front of me, I promptly told her I was in the queue, and even though the counter attendant saw this, she still didn't acknowledge me nor the other customer. Fed up, I threw the item down and walked out, only to watch in disbelief as the counter attendant immediately started helping the woman who had cut in front of me. Upon returning to ask why I was ignored, I was told that the counter attendant thought I was waiting for someone, despite my daughter standing right next to me in line. When I requested to speak to the manager, I was shocked to learn that the person causing me so much frustration was, in fact, the manager. Can you believe that? I ended up spending my hard-earned money to support such appalling behavior from the staff. And when I threatened to call head office to complain, the manager had the audacity to ask why. So, my question to City Girl is this: do you hire staff specifically to mistreat your customers? Because if so, sign me up—I could certainly give your customers the same terrible treatment I received.
I cannot recommend this company. The only reason I used this company - they were recommended by Evetech - where I purchased the laptop from. From the very first encounter with the service person who threw the paper that I handed to her with all the details to the quoting, etc. I had no choice but to accept this. One receives the quote and no where on the quote does it state that payment has to be done BEFORE repairs start, it does state the following: "No Repairs will be released unless payment has been received". Received a call stating that they ordered the part, and another to state that the part will arrive on the 08/03/2024, not quote was done on the 05/02/2024. Upon calling to see if they have the part, I then get told - Yes it is in JNB. Maybe they should be more clear on when the part will arrive at their branch. When I asked for the HO number I was told that they were not allowed to give it out. I then found the number in JNB, and upon requesting to speak to the MD or who ever the manager of Durban branch answers to, I was put back to Durban branch. This is were I ended up being s***led at like a child. I then called the JNB branch again and was told that a manager from JNB would call me. Well lets see. I cannot wait to get my PC back, and if broken or worse than when I handed as per what I have read in the reviews - there will be hell to pay. Mmmmm maybe I should ask for a job so I can be rude, obnoxious and make customers have a ****ty day - at least I will get paid to do it. This is my experience so far.
I recently had an experience with A.N.S Electrical's end of year party, and unfortunately, it left a negative impression not only on the company but the owner as well. The excessive noise generated during the event was a major concern, as it could be heard over a distance. I requested to speak to the owner/manager, an Indian male approached and informed that this was his party and he had the right to break the law by making the noise. I did not request for the noise to stop but to lower the loudness and screaming from the staff/guest, that echoed across the entire residential neighborhood. Despite politely requesting to lower the volume, it got louder as the afternoon progressed. I inquired about whether they had obtained permission from Metro Police to make such excessive noise, the owner (now established and quire arrogant about it) claimed to have the necessary permission. However, when I asked for proof, he refused to provide any documentation. This lack of transparency was disappointing. Feeling frustrated, I mentioned that I would contact the local authorities, to address the noise issue and I was told in a rude manner to go ahead. Even after the agreed-upon end time, the noise continued. This left me no choice but to report the incident to the authorities. (Note that this had been going on for over 4 hrs). This experience raises concerns if this is how A.N.S Electrical treats its neighbors. It is important for companies to be respectful and considerate of their neighbors, as it reflects their overall values and commitment to the community around them. In this case, the excessive noise, arrogance from the owner and lack of responsiveness to concerns were disappointing and should be taken into consideration when evaluating A.N.S Electrical as a potential service provider. This review is my opinion and what I have experienced
If you are happy with these guys, great - they do make great coffee I believe. As for the employees that take home their vehicles that is another story. They can keep the van clean - great, but they live like hooligans /***s. They scream at all hours; play loud music upon arriving and the worst of all they do ******* dumping. They refuse to abide by the by laws. The refuse is collected on a Tuesday morning, but they put their ******* out on Monday 14h30 or like this week on Sunday afternoon. By the time the ******* is collected before 06h00 on Tuesday morning it is strewed up and down the road. Bear in mind they only rent and when the owner has told them this, they ignore him. Upon a shouting match with the employee, I got told he goes to work to early and hence why he cannot abide by the rules - well I take out my ******* at 05h00. I have tried to contact all 3 owners without success to ask them if their employee could be a bit late on Tuesdays to avoid the health risk – as we already have rats in the neighbourhood. Wow! what great employee standing for this company. The reason for this review – is that this property is being used for cleaning the van. If this is how they treat their environment – think twice on how they treat the van’s your coffee is coming from. Enjoy the coffee! The above is my opinion and what I have personally endured over the few years.
My family wanted to spoil me and send me for a massage at a spa off Hyperli. I took the day off to be spoilt. Well that was not a good idea. Upon arrival at this so called spa it looked like it was being held up by gum. Inside you were told to go to the 2nd door, upon opening the door there were 2 unprofessional looking ladies an a room that you could not swing a cat in, and the hygiene was much to be desired. I walked out. When I arrived home I sent an email to them. That same night we sent a cancellation on the voucher. On the 1st of November I received an email stating that the voucher was redeemed on the 31st of the month. How convenient. To me this company SCAMS people for their money.
For more information on how to have your property burnt and family injured contact Primaforce as they do not care If you would like more information and evidence on their poor workmanship you are welcome to contact me The above statement is my opinion from what I have experienced from the service received since 2021
Best place ever with their service Had issue with clutch and they kept me informed all the way, even came to my rescue with the issue was not theirs Thanks guys
Beware of this company, if they are delivering your credit card. To the best of my knowledge and experience on receiving my own, the person whom the card is for is to sign for it and show their ID. Well this company allows anyone to sign for your card. No proof of ID is needed. When I tried to call and complain it took me over 45mintues before I gave up. 60 minutes later they call you back and then you hold on again for over 20 minutes. Why bother call one back, if there is no one to take the call. I ask with tears in my eyes. The service in this is appalling. What I do know, that when I need to send anything either personal or professional I will not be using this company. Best of luck - now to report them to the bank.
