I was ****med by this company, Steven Shroud | Support Specialist Vinreportspro.com , and they refuses to issue a refund. Their website claims that they offer quick responses if you're not satisfied or can't find the information you need. I paid R 520 to retrieve my car's details using my VIN, but I received no information in return. Additionally, on their website, but it is not its a ****, it is not free on the internet.
I am extremely frustrated with the service I received at Bosch Repairs in Kya Sands. I took my car in for a 120,000 km service on May 5, 2025. Just an hour later, I received a call informing me that there was a critical issue that needed immediate attention; without repairs, my engine could be damaged. Although I hadn't budgeted for such unexpected costs, I agreed to have the work done. Two days later, the service manager sent me a WhatsApp message stating that my car was almost ready. They were draining sludge from the engine, and it seemed as if everything was going well. However, when I followed up, the manager told me there was damage to my car, and I would have to pay for additional repairs and parts, even though my car was running fine when I brought it in. Now, my car is not functional, and I am being held responsible for the damage. What adds to my frustration is that the technician who broke my car is a FOREIGN NATIONAL, while many local young people could have performed this job, which is not a scarce skill. This situation is incredibly upsetting to me. The head office has responded since last week. I don't have a car now. I hope the Department of Labour and Home Affairs will visit this franchisee and soon Xrepo will be there to expose them further.
This morning, I experienced a troubling incident at the Astro Energies petrol station. I went to the restroom with my phone in hand and, for some reason, placed it on the toilet paper holder. After I finished, I forgot to take it with me. I only realized it was missing when I was in my car trying to make a call. I returned to the garage and requested to view the security footage. The staff showed me the footage, and I saw a man who came in after me. They identified him as an Albany driver who was there to deliver bread. We contacted him and asked him to return my phone, but as expected, he denied having it. He mentioned he would come back to the station, but he never did. Suddenly, my phone turned off. To my surprise, when I requested the footage again, the staff at Astro Energies sent me a video of someone who was never in the restroom; he was outside instead. This guy must be dealt with decisively.
I am in shock I have just been contacted by a supposedly law firm in Capetown called GL ARTONEYS on behalf of FNB for a 7 years debt I had with FNB. GL ARTONEYS are acting on behalf of FNB, my question is how is it possible that I should still be held responsible for a 7 years old debt. This is ******** this debt should have been prescribed long time ago. I have lodged a complaint against both of them because with the little knowledge I have this is ******** FNB are not acting within the guidelines of FASA and as for this law firm it is not make sure. They should know there's no way they can chase me for such an old debt.

This company is disappointing they haven't refunded me to this day no communication whatsoever. I think I'll take this issue to social media to expose them.
