AVOID AT ALL COST
Wish I read the reviews before placing an order. Absolutely the worst online store full of promises and apologies but no products. There is NO communication when placing the order. The only proof of the order is Paygate that sends proof of payment. AVOID THEM

Avoid Takealot... the name says it all... They TAKE everything
Takealot has been taken over by **** ****mers selling junk and Takealot is profiting from this! When a seller cannot deliver a product in time, Takealot charges penalties but the client doesn't receive their item, so why would Takealot even try to stop this if they are making money from ******** activities? I bought a product that was advertised as ABC and when I received it is was COMPLETELY different to what I ordered and was told it cannot be returned!?

Best by far!
By far the best courier service in SA! They are FAST and reliable. Anyone who disagrees should use Aramax and then see how much The Courier Guy is superior. I don't care paying the little bit extra for the extra service. It is clear that they have made a huge effort in the past two years or so to become the best and it is definitely showing. Thank you to all The Courier Guys

Beautiful promises with no delivery
They have a beautiful website that offers the world until it comes to delivery. Customer support is extremely poor and there is absolutely no communication regarding the status of an order. They charge a fortune and cannot deliver what they promise

USed to be MYus, now it's Aramex'sUS
This company used to be AMAZING until they were taken over by Aramex, now they are as useless and ******* as Aramex. They charge extra for insurance on shipments, when a package gets lost or damaged, they say insurance doesn't cover that because it was the courier's responsibility. If you don't take insurance and they lose pieces or parts of your package, they say "You should have taken insurance". So they basically ***** $4 - $6 PER CLIENT and label it insurance, but there is NO insurance whatsoever! They open every single package they get and sometimes just cut it open so it looks like it was inspected for customs. I can understand certain things have to be inspected but a plastic wheel in plastic wrapping isn't hiding anything!

Takealot ****
Takealot is ****ming people and we have to just accept their apologies?? They will charge R75 - R95 for same day or next day deliveries while 2 days delivery is free. Their drivers won't show up on the day they are supposed to and we have to be happy with a "sorry for the inconvenience" apology? Customers need to take on Takealot for these false claims and false advertising! Don't offer something you cannot provide!

Luck of the draw
So many positive reviews but I am sure it all has to do with the product ordered. I get absolutely no feedback from them. Product descriptions are confusing and wrong on the website and after placing an order I got no confirmation if it's shipping or not. Very quick to take my money but no service whatsoever

Quick to advertise, never to be seen again
Do not expect any support from educated technicians. After several error logs they finally sent a "technician" to the property. The Vumatel router is not giving out valid IP addresses and has to be reset. A technician arrived without any means of connecting to the router! Then we were told "I work mainly on the mechanics, not on the router so I don't have a laptop". THEN WHY SEND THIS TECHNICIAN IN THE FIRST PLACE??

Only in it for the money
Absolutely horrible and *********** support. Phoning the support line I am told to install the app! After emailing support I was phoned back back a support "technician" with ZERO networking skills. Only support offered is the checklist on a paper to go through troubleshooting options. From the word go I knew the Vumatel router is the issue but they insisted on screenshots of a ping to the router... a router that doesn't have a valid IP address. SO the final support was "This is a Vumatel issue - it's out of our hands"!!!!????

AVOID this comapny!
I wish I came here before placing an order... Just like every other review on Evetech I have to agree that there is absolutely NO service. They claim to have stock of items in order to secure your EFT payment. Then they tell you unfortunately that item is no longer available, but they have your money. They try to sell you other stock that they cannot sell in return. They are scam artists and the company should be closed down
