Johannesburg to Reunion and return. Unsure if everything was fine with that plane as there was grinding noise as well as continuous vibrations. Due to it we were not even able to use our arm rests. Flight to Reunion delayed. Return flight cancelled by airline a few days before. Only option to accept a flight a few days later. No accommodation etc offered. As per EU regulation they are also obliged to compensate passengers. Handed in my compensation request 2 months ago. Received confirmation by airline. Since then neither compensation has been paid nor does Air Austral reply to any email.
I rented a private office space for a year in February. The company is sweet as candy until the moment you sign the contract. From that moment on, you are bombarded with additional costs that were never pointed out before: Parking: chargeable, also full daily rate, even if you only use it for half an hour; cleaning fee when you move out in 4 figures, no matter how clean the office is, 12 month lease is actually 13 months etc.). Since last month, rent payments are also confirmed as "success", you get a payment confirmation without the tenant's Spaces account being updated accordingly. The payment remains open. Even better, and also experienced by other reviewers, Spaces/Regus makes unauthorised debits via the credit/debit card registered on the account. This currently means Spaces/Regus now has two monthly rentals from me: one from my timely rent payment, another that Regus/Spaces simply debited from my card themselves for the same month. Additionally, two "retainer" deposits and the current bill remained outstanding. Emails to the relevant Spaces office are not responded to or are responded to with a delay of several days. If you call the reception/administration after a few days of no response, you are told every time that they are answering the email at this very minute. Alternatively, log a ticket right this second. Sure they do. The office itself: the door lock was broken when I moved in, and it was only possible to start late on the first day. I then got another office. After repair the office admin refused to give me the original office. Likewise, to update the lease to the new office. I was told the previous office was now rented. This is not true. Hence, since February I have been paying rent for an office space that I do not rent. A reason could not be given to me. Presumably again to gain some financial benefit from it at the end of the rental period. Elevator broken regularly. There is usually one lift left for the entire building. Either you wait several minutes and then squeeze yourself into a crowded elevator, or you take a filthy fire escape. Male toilet: Two urinals a few centimeters apart, not possible for two people to use at the same time. Just one toilet cabin that has to be enough for the entire floor. Permanently occupied. Total toilet floor space around 3 square meters for 30+ males. I doubt it will look any better for the femail toilet. Paper dispenser regularly empty and continuouslly empty from around 3-4 pm. Toilet seat loose for several weeks. Overall unclean and smelly. My private office: loose sockets falling out of the wall. Office chair covered with blond hair when moving in. Also the floor. Impossible to sit on a chair or put something on the floor. And that where Spaces/Regus charges a ********** cleaning fee when you move out. So obviously this is seen as additional income instead of being used as such. There are numerous alternatives in Cape Town, also in and around the Waterfront. The closest just 2 minutes walk away. Don't make the mistake I made.
if you have money on your MTN accoubt their system works fine. Problem is that every other top up via their MTN app is being deducted from the customer's bank account but not credited to the customer's MTN app account or MTN phone number. Means every other time you have to go through lengthy customer support communication, wasting your own time for a simple top up in the year 2023.
I have been ordering from takealot.com throughout the year. Smooth order process, always well packed and on time. Once I had a defect poduct from a third party seller on their web site. The return process was as smooth as the order one. Had my money reimbursed on third day. Had a defect product from some other retailer once which had taken me hours of emails and calls to get a refund and only received one after my review here. So here lies the difference and takealot.com seems to take the amazon approach. That why the US retailer became that big and most retailers still dont get the message. Well done, takealot.com. Keep up your excellent service.

Professional order processing, choice of various delivery days as it suits the customer and numerous payment options, including cash on delivery. All went smoothly. A delight and in stark contrast to MrPrice home and their online shop which I went through hell with.
Do not believe Mr Price Home's auto replies showing underneath customers' complaints here. These are posted by a BOT and the promise in there that the complaint has been acknowledged and will be personally handled is just another lie. I posted here a complaint as many others some time ago and received the same BOT reply. Anybody thinking or hoping Mr Price Home will get back to you indeed kindly note it is a BOT who replies and they give as little a s*** on your complaint as they did on your numerous calls and emails before. Lodge a complaint with the National Consumer Commission or your provincial consumer protection office. That way the authorities will take a closer look at Mr Price Home's business practises and, in contrast to ignoring your complaint, Mr Price Home will not be in a position to ignore them.
Bought pedestal and office desk. Pedestal was in stock, office desk had to be ordered online by salesperson in store. Once home, had to bring back pedestal as *****s were missing. Office desk was delivered late to Central Cape Town and not in 5-7 work days as promised. Delivered by one single person in old rusty obviously private van. Office desk was badly damaged. Delivery man asked to make a note of it on the shipping order, he will bring it back to the depot and I will get replacement w/i 2 days. Of course, this never happened. I sent an email to the provided Mr Price order enquiry email address. Never got any reply. Sent two further ones the following 2 weeks which were ignored, too. Tried to call provided 0317 order enquiry phone number as printed on shipping order. Got auto voice message number does not exist. Some weeks into it I received phone call on my order. Explained it all to agent, was told I will receive voucher by email w/i 24-48 hours. This was another 2 weeks ago now and, of course, just another lie. I should have read the reviews here first. Mr Price seems to make a business out of happily taking customers' money but then either not delivering the item or not refunding/ replacing damaged items. Anyone having in mind to order any item online from Mr Price home do yourself a favor and read the appalling customer experiences here under Mr Price and Mr Price home first.
