Great experience so far! Happy with my premium and benefits, big ups to everyone behind the King Price team!
Yesterday, my account was debited without my authorization. The transaction was made by “BigBags Cape Town” and was flagged as a recurring payment. What is most concerning is that I cancelled my card a few months ago, and the debited card number does not match either my cancelled card or the active virtual card currently visible on my banking app. Yet, the amount was still deducted from my account. I contacted the ***** Department and spoke to Lehlogonolo, who informed me that an investigation is pending. However, I do not understand what is being investigated when the card used is not linked to my account in the first place. Lehlogonolo assured me that his manager would call me back within 30 minutes, but—as expected—no one contacted me. This situation raises serious concerns about the security of my funds. If unauthorized transactions can still occur despite cancelled and unlinked cards, why should I feel confident continuing to bank with you? I request an urgent explanation and resolution.
Great experience so far, never a dull moment with these guys
No one informed me about prorata or that it would be debited on the last day of the month, my debit date was set to the 1st so I knew I had to deposit funds before the 1st... Any ways I made a payment of the subscription including the prorata last Friday and sent proof via email and Whatsapp. This morning I get an unpaid debit sms and email... I then sent the POP via Whatsapp and they say they will escalate... Wow.
A Vodacom field sales agent knocked on our door and sold us Fibre which she claimed was R200 per month, after I signed up, got the router and was call for confirmation of installation... My wife suggested I call Vodacom and find out if it is indeed a R199 subscription... Turns out it was for the first three months only! I told the Call Center agent to cancel... Since then no one from Vodacom has gotten back to me even after sending emails to their retentions and customer care departments. I just want them to take their router so I can live my life... I'm never trusting anyone from Vodacom.
I spoke to Mahashwari who was of great service, something I haven't experienced in a while, how satisfying.
Got an SMS stating that I have to make a payment through their ABSA account and reference with my ID Number, did exactly that... next thing they debit my card as well, cool I guess it's an automatic debit system thing, I then call support and I'm referred to their Whatsapp line which seems to be a another company called "Nudebt"... I sent my POP as requested this morning to no response, I called Nudebt, no reply, called Rain a few minutes ago, no reply... Wow
Paying my account installment in advance was the biggest mistake, I spoke to an agent who advised that she has escalated my query and the next thing I get an SMS and email with an incorrect balance due? I made a payment the previous month, check the statement, why am I being double billed all of a sudden? The lady I spoke to put me on hold after we went through the statement together and then got back to me to say the credit on the account will settle the previous balance and this month's installment would be reduced because I paid more than what was due for the previous month. You need to work on your online payment system, I paid extra because at the time of payment there was no balance due according to your system, that's why the payment was credited to the account. Next time you call me, please get someone who knows why they're calling me, It's frustrating having to explain my situation over and over again, it's unprofessional.
I told the guy at the entrance I'd like to exchange, I then gave him my slip and he added a green sticker on it and on the plastic bag, I then continued with my shopping... At the till the lady charged me the normal price for the item I wanted exchanged, I told her it was a special, she explained I had to bring the other jean in order for her to charge the special price since it was a "Take 2 For R180" deal. How inconvenient because on my previous slip it clearly shows it was a special, anyway, on my way out I now had 3 items including the jean I wanted to exchange, the lady asked for proof of purchase and I presented it, it did indeed show the two items I bought excluding the jean I wanted to exchange. She then said you can't leave the store because I don't have a slip for the jean, I had to explain myself to her again... She called the cashier who assisted me, which I found frustrating because the staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing because of their lack of communication.
Remove my number from your list! So annoying.
