On 1 March 2026, my partner and I visited Del Forno Glenanda, where we are regular customers. We placed our order for two New York Strip Steaks at approximately 14:28. By 15:22, no food had been served, and no waiter had checked on us. After finally getting the attention of the owner, John, the meals were brought out immediately, but without steak knives and with poor presentation. John then informed us that the order had only been captured at 14:51, implying that we were being untruthful about when it had been placed. As customers, we have no influence over when a waiter enters an order into the POS system. His manner was dismissive and unprofessional. Despite paying, we chose not to eat the food. This is not the first time we have experienced poor service or incorrect orders at this branch, but the deterioration since the departure of the previous manager, Joe, has become increasingly noticeable. Based on this experience, we will no longer be returning to Del Forno, at this or any other branch.

My son had the unfortunate experience of visiting PG Glass Strubensvalley on 14 September 2024 for a chip repair in his windscreen. He was immediately told it would be R850.00 (nobody had even looked at the windscreen). Upon phoning the call centre I was informed that one chip in the windscreen, provided that it was not in the drivers line of sight and not on the edge of the windscreen, would be R549.00. This chip was not in any of these places. He agreed to have the chip repaired and he was then told that he needed to draw cash as the crad machine was not working. He duly did this and was told that an invoice and receipt would be sent to him. Issues with this service: 1. He was overquoted 2. He had to pay cash, really in this day and age. If machines are not working most businesses have a mobile machine (which I know you do have) linked to a different network. 3. No invoice and no receipt. My strong recommendation is that you clean house there, that money was so obviously pocketed by the staff. I would like a R300.00 refund as well as be provided with an invoice and receipt. I will never go to PG Glass again! There are competitors in the industry which appears to have been forgotten
I have never been so insulted by anyone. To the point that this company has the audacity to phone people who have absolutely nothing to do with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am making payments on my account but have been slander that I am a dishonest person and that I need to do the right thing. How dare you insult my integrity. The harassment is disgusting and funny how once I make a payment the calls, Whatsapp messages etc intensify because now you have an easy target to achieve your targets. You people are the scum of the earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never felt as humiliated as I was on Saturday 08 October 2022. I was in the branch at Mall of the South with my partner. We were looking at a specific pair of shoes of which there was only one pair in the window. Not one of the sales people came anywhere near us and when we enquired as to other stock we were severely and publicly reprimanded for taking the shoes from the display. Our money is obviously not good enough for Shoe City. This rude interaction was from the manageress of the store. Never again shall we shop at any Shoe City store. I notice from the reviews here that Shoe City seem to think it is beneath them to answer complaints which cements the decision to never put a foot in the door again!!!!
I placed an order with Mr Price Home Online. They were very helpful, with all the automated responses and quick to take money. However when the goods were delivered, admittedly a day before they had stated, one of the items purchased was broken. I have phoned and emailed repeatedly and nobody has bothered to get back to me, not even to say please exchange at a store or we can't help you. Just radio silence from Mr Price. I requested that they collect the broken item with a replacement, I don't want my money to be refunded. I have to admit that I am bitterly disappointed in the service considering that the online shopping market is wide open and the competition extremely fierce. Not a good way to keep your customers
