I paid R75 extra for next day delivery. When I tried to change the delivery address before pickup, it didn't change. Even though I followed the link they gave to change the address. I spoke with the courier and she said "I'm not gonna deliver it tonight it's sent back to the hub" and then dropped the line, after asking earlier if it's okay if she delivers after 17h00. So I paid R75 extra for next day delivery for nothing!! Totally pathetic!
Money went missing out of my account cause of "technical issues" on March 23. Which I've never heard in my life of. HTF does a bank lose your money where you have no access to it?! But we are supposed to trust banks with our money... I had to buy something today but now I can't cause I'm waiting for them to resolve their technical issue. Where the turn around time can't be verified! I'm getting paid tomorrow and have no clue whether I'll have my money in my account or if that will get missing too. How am I supposed to trust FNB if something like this can happen on my account?
I went there, cause my counselor told me to go to my nearest hospital cause they have to help me. When I got there I had to open a file. The guy at reception said there will be a payment towards the doctor of an amount of R500, I said that's fine. Eventually a nurse came to me to ask how can she assist me, and I told her I have some psychological problems and I am on the verge of killing myself. Her response was "we can't help you here, because we aren't a psychiatric hospital" and I said, I know but my counselor said I have to come for 24 hour monitoring. So she said I have to wait for the doctor. Eventually the doctor came and he told me the same thing, "that we can't help you cause we aren't a psychiatric clinic. We must send you to Glenview in Benoni". I told him, I'm not going to go to Glenview because my doctor isn't in Benoni, I don't need a psychiatric hospital, and I only need 24 hour monitoring. And again as a broken record "we are not a psychiatric hospital". So I then asked the doctor, If someone is about to kill themselve, you're just going to say we can't help you here and show them away? So I decided it's a waste in being here. When I wanted to storm out, the doctor was quick to grab me by the arm and suddenly wanted to help. He phoned the clinic where my doctor's practice is, but they said that it's too late to be admitted and that I have to phone the next day. After being there for less than an hour, not getting anything, not even a sedator or someone to talk to. But they sent me a BILL!!!!
Very poor service from them. You will be on the line for as long as your phone's battery allows you to, but there will be no answer. If they answer, they end the call immediately and expecting a rating even though you never spoke to anyone. We're trying to get our internet back on after relocating and it's been almost two months already and we're still not back online. If you can stay away from Vumatel! They are pathetic.
I was at Springs Mall yesterday to apply for the new SASSA card in a hell of a long queue. Then agents from FNB came to the queue, telling people they can apply for the new card at FNB. When I got there, the agent told people they first have to open an FNB account and that they don't hand out the SASSA cards, wasting everyone's time just to set them back to the back of the queue. She gave me a confirmation letter and said all I have to do is hand it in at a SASSA branch. I went there, stood in the sun for an hour and a half just for them to tell me I still need the new SASSA card. Just to **** off FNB as they did to me, I feel like switching to another bank. They totally wasted my time just so they can get my grant money paid into my FNB account. A total bunch of **** artists!
The absolutely suck at giving service. All those paid actors on their ads who speak so well about them are all talking out of their ass. My girlfriend tried to cancel her policy with them, but the woman on the other side of the phone just doesn't want to cancel it. She keeps going on about what she'll lose if she cancels, which isn't much in the first place. And then she tells her she'll still pay for February month cause she needs to give a month's notice, since when do you have to give notice to cancel a policy? It's not like they need someone to fill your space in the policy. Never heard anyone as stupid as them. I won't advise anyone to apply with them. They are completely unprofessional and take advantage of the old people who don't understand these things. And when I told her, it's fine, she can debit but I'm putting this on Hello Peter, she just said, "okay bye".
The pre approved loan application that you get when you log in is total hogwash. This time they decided to phone me and ask me where I am employed and what my experiences are, the whole nine yards as if I'm applying for a home loan. I app**** for the personal loan that I was "pre approved" for. I've never fell short on paying any of my loans, I always make sure I have money when it gets debited. First of all, the woman talked to me as if I'm being cross examined with a tone as if I did something wrong. End of the interrogation, she told me I have no proof of income, everything is in front of her, every month's statement since I've been with them!! I actually wanted to swear, for her phoning me instead of just sending it in a message. But when they phone me to sell me a policy they always tell me what a well paying client I am, trying to get me to apply for some or other policy I don't need. Today, I'm really sorry for leaving Standard Bank for FNB. If this is how they talk to customers, this is not a bank worth banking with.
We ordered from the KFC on the 7th of October, 2024 at Northgate mall, and only received half an order. We have ordered from them in the past where they also ***** up the order and then just apologize. You pay in full for the order but just receive half of your order and they think an apology will fix it all. I'm really over this now. And not to mention three of the six pieces of chicken were wings. That's not a meal it's a snack.
When we wanted to put solar power in, they wanted to come as soon as possible to give a quotation. After giving a R5,000 deposit to schedule it for April, which they wanted to be paid in on immediate release that afternoon, we found out we won't have the funds for the solar power. We tried phoning them but the lines are always busy. I was on the line for over 20 minutes to speak with an agent, and eventually hung the phone up. So we e-mailed them and finally got a response after a few days. They asked for the banking details to give the refund, so we sent it thinking we finally got somewhere. Little did we know we were wrong. Now after giving them the banking details and contacting them over and over again, we still haven't heard back from them. If you have to choose, don't go with Power Africa. I won't support a company with ******* morals.
My girlfriend and I ordered a ride home from Lifestyle garden center today, and as usual we have a two bags of potting soil and two seedling trays. Never have we had issues with it or with drivers refusing til' today. The driver arrived and I asked him if he will please open the boot and without any second thoughts he said, we're not gonna put that in the boot, it's not gonna fit and that we must order a van. At that moment it wasn't as much about him declining to give us a ride, more about the attitude he gave me. And when I told him to cancel the ride then, he's said, "No. You can cancel the ride" knowing there's a cancelation fee if he has already arrived. Before I could say anything he just drove away. I told my girlfriend, we're done with Bolt we'll only use Uber now. So we ordered an Uber and we had no problem with the driver. Bolt South Africa doesn't take any complaints seriously. Don't even worry about contacting them you're just gonna speak with a bot. And it's also not our first issue with Bolt. Rather use Uber, you never know what you're gonna get when you order a Bolt.
