I want to thank Pat (and also Deborah) for turning what started as a very disappointing situation into an incredibly positive experience. I was initially very unhappy with the tallow I received and felt quite frustrated about it. So I was genuinely surprised when Pat personally called me to discuss the issue. The level of care and attention shown was exceptional. She took the time to listen, reassure me that this was a once off issue and not something typical of their products, and handled the situation with such kindness and sincerity that it completely changed my perspective. Deborah and Pat clearly care deeply about their customers and their reputation, and it shows. You simply don’t see customer service like this very often these days. In fact, the way they handled the situation impressed me even more than if everything had gone cut and dry from the start. I’m very happy to continue supporting them and would recommend their products and company without hesitation. Pat you are an absolute superstar!
I ordered 5kg of tallow and the smell was absolutely unreal... so bad it stank out my entire house. This wasn’t a mild “farm” smell or something that needed a gentle clean-up. It was putrid. Because I urgently needed this for my business, I had no choice but to re-render and deodorize it myself. What came out during the wet render was absolutely disgusting. The photos show it clearly: a huge amount of gelatinous, slimy sludge separating out and collecting in the bottom of the pot. There was A LOT of it, far more than should ever be present in a finished product. Even after all that work, the tallow is still crumbly and not smooth, and I’m now considering a dry render just to try and make it usable. That’s time, energy, and cost I should never have had to absorb for something sold as a finished product. I've worked with a lot of tallow in my life and this is by far the worst I have ever encountered. I honestly feel very bitter about it. This is especially disappointing because the company looks like a gold mine online, but after this experience, I don’t trust buying anything else from them. If this passed quality control, that’s a serious problem. Product quality needs to be checked before shipping. What I received was unacceptable.
I love the website, the options, the layout and the appearance is very slick. The iPhone 11 I purchased in excellent condition was exactly that, in excellent condition. The battery is like new. The delivery time was ridiculously prompt. The fact it was imported so quickly really surprised me

I bought a full setup from Progenix. I gave them my budget and they built me a solid setup at a price that blew away the competition. I was helped by Jonathan. He was excellent with his communication. My PC has been running perfectly and I am one happy customer. The peripherals they chose for me was corsair and far superior to my old gear in the same price range. These guys know what they are doing, and they stock good quality products at amazing prices. You can absolutely trust them to make choices and suggestions for you, if you are overwhelmed by the technicalities of purchasing a new setup. Progenix for the win!
I got the WP20. I initially had some concerns. Thought the phone was slow but it resolved with an automatic update. Then thought the screen scratched easily but thanks to Mbali from customer service, she figured out the standard screen protector that comes with the phone was still on (my bad). Even though I was fired up, she handled things with grace. Props to her! Good phone. Good customer service. I'm happy!
I'm absolutely gutted about my overall. It shrank so badly on the first wash I can no longer use it, the wrists are so tight and the arm length so short that it is too uncomfortable to wear. Roslyn helped me, and I can only assume she has some serious knowledge gaps about overalls, and I would expect the Sweet ORR team to actually know something about the one thing they specialize in.... overalls. She could not guess or even estimate my size. It was awkward for me, because I had to ask her to keep getting bigger sizes from the back, and after the third request I finally thought I had the right size, the overall fitted perfectly and was very comfortable, the legs were too long but I didn't mind that too much as I planned on getting them shortened. After reading up on 100% cotton I learned that If an overall is not pre-shrunk it can shrink up to 20% in size. I guess they let you find this out the hard way at Sweet ORR. You would expect the sales reps to know these fundamental facts about their own products and advise customers accordingly. My wife paid for the overall as a gift and she felt really devastated after she washed it for me and I told her it had shrunk. It was a really bad experience. But I solely lay the blame on Sweet ORR for not educating customers about the shrinkage when they are fitting them. I told them it was the first time purchasing a top quality overall and I was so excited about it. This whole situation just makes me feel really, really bad. We can't afford to get another one and I am back to working in my home clothing. (Which is now looking disheveled) This saddens me deeply and I feel cheated. I truly hope the problem can be resolved.
I will never support Game stores ever again. I have been buying electronics from them for a while now and have had to return most of the rubbish they stock. Do your staff throw the boxes around before putting them on the shelves or what the actual F$%^ is going on there!? I've gotten 3 faulty Volkano mice, returned 2 of them but the last one I don't have the damned receipt anymore so I haven't bothered trying to return it. I put that down to bad luck and a kak brand (Volkano) so me and my missus opted for the MK220 mouse keyboard combo deal by Logitech and guess what... more problems. The combo is well overpriced at R500 when it should be R300, firstly. Which is absolute BS. Secondly, I also lost this receipt to make matters worse. And the problem: The range is PATHETIC, the battery consumption is RIDICULOUS, and I am done, absolutely done with these crooks. I will never ever support you guys or Logitech or Volkano.ever again. Absolutely ****ed off now.
J TEN Plastics in Parow, Cape Town are the BEST for builders plastic sheeting. I got a huge reel of 3m by 30m for a fraction of the price compared to the corporate giants that muscle their way into monopoly positions. Amazing, so glad I found them. I will never pay retail price again for plastic sheeting, thank you very much. Oh, plus fantastic and friendly staff doesn't hurt either lol.
Excellent. I will always give them my business over the competition because they have provided excellent value for money and good after-sales service. Highly recommended. I had one issue though, my RAM was not compatible and would cause freezing, I was a bit bleak, but they handled it like champs and in no time flat they had rectified the issue. This only left them in better light.
