First let me say thank you for letting my kids sit in the dark last night when they were at their dad's. As per your quote about arrears and recovery; "All recovery action must meet appropriate legal and regulatory standards. and early intervention in rent arrears is vital to ensure that relevant support and advice can be offered and rental loss is minimised or even completely avoided" Now, how did you meet appropriate legal standards when you switched off the electricity of my kids dads home yesterday.... just because he's 1 month late. The amount outstanding aint the full amount, he paid you somewhat R8000 and outstanding is R3700-00. He was retrenched earlier this year and now works for himself. He wasnt paid in full last month either. And to top it all off you just had to throw in a R450 penalty fee AND a R250 for the letter of demand? WOW, you def deserve an award for cleverness. He's been staying there almost 16months now, never missed a rent and now that he short paid his rent you go and turn off his electricity??! You are not authorised to do that in the first place. FYI Landlords must follow a legal process to disconnect a tenant's electricity, which includes providing notice, giving the tenant time to pay, and obtaining a court order. Did you give him time? NO. Did you have a court order? NO So how can you switch off his electricity?? And also, you ask for I think 3months full rent upfront before even moving in....now you're just handing out final notices and letter of demands lol its a joke! I would NEVER rent from you or even tell someone to use you.
How does one pay for a service and not get what you pay for?? I emailed vuma/vodacom icw me relocating back in May 23, to which NO one rep****. Beginning this month I moved to new home and my fibre was not active. I called in and they said they have no records of my email and that it will take a month to relocate. And I was told i stil have to pay the monthly fee even though I cant use it! Thats just amazing Vodacom! So I start the relogging of fibre query and get a ref number to have line relocated (this was done over 2weeks ago) and rec ref nr SR230719-290970. No one called me last week or even emailed me to say 'hey are you home, can we check the fibre box thats in your new place" NO!!!! NO ONE! Today I sent an email to express my disgust in Vodacom's customer services and think its time I move to a service provider that actually attends to its customers queries. Got a call earlier on and was put through to a lady in fibre department. She said she cant see that a relocating query was logged after i gave her the ref nr received. She again recreates a new query for my line to be activated but it requires me being infront of my fibre box. So we scheduled a time for someone to call me later this afternoon. Very happy with some progress. But when I asked her the query, who will contact me to get a refund for the almost a month of no internet connection, she confirms that my box at prev house is still active! ***! was this not suppose to have been deactivated upon call in to have line reconnected at new place? I gave confirmation that I MOVED into new home and that I NO LONGER reside in address on the system. I gave my new address as well and they checked for fibre connection etc. All was in order. Now im just asking myself....Is it wise to stay with Vuma/Vodacom? After being with vodacom for over 20yrs....will other queries now arise? Im in two minds....
Called Appliance Man icw my oven that needs fixing. I was quoted call out fee of R600 and told that if I accept their quote for repairs, there will be no call out fee. The guys were at my house yesterday afternoon and quoted me R1242 for repairs to the 'mother board' that connects all wires etc. I accepted it. Nothing else was mentioned to be paid. Today I get the call that they found the part and that total cost would be about R1900. It now has an extra labour fee of R650! Called the owner back and he sounded puzzled and said he would call me back as he needs to speak to the technician first to hear what this is all about. So later tech tries to justify that he did tell me about the labour fee lol I will not be bullied into extra fees if it wasnt declared upfront. I was aware of first given amount only. So I now will pay for call out fee and not repairs. No ways I will pay almost R2000 when quoted R1242! Absolutely shocking to know I've waisted my money like this.
Well...I placed my order online on the 26/09/2022. Could not purchase my kids clothing on my account so I paid for it via credit card. I started following up on it last week Thursday when called the customer service line. What a BS story to get one of them to put me through to someone that knows whats going on on their system! Hung up the phone and called the branch directly to find out if my order has been delivered to them yet. The girl there was polite and took down details to send H/O an email icw my order. Now keep in mind, NO ONE has contacted me as yet. Today I get a call from the lady (from the branch what i selected to collect my order from) and tells me that H//O tells her on email there has been a fault and that they will be refunding me for my complete order. Why??!! I placed my order on line and ALL items were in stock! How can they just cancel my order and not have ANY communication with me as to why, how come!? NO EXPLANATION why my order was just cancelled! My daughter will be so sad now...thank you...you useless incompetent Ackermans staff at head office for not caring or bothering to pack my order in time!
Now this is an online company I will continue doing business with. Its now the second time I've bought from this online website and the experience thus far is fantastic! The first purchase was earlier this year and delivery early March 21. Tops I waited 2weeks for item to be delivered. My most recent purchase was done 2nd week of July and received end of July 21. From selecting what I wanted, to paying, I did not have any trouble or delays. And I received updates via email once stock arrived at their stores. When my item was collected by a courier. Once it was shipped and on its way to me. Even when the couriers registered the package to be "out for delivery". They followed my package where ever it went. I am very chuffed at the quick deliver, both times. Sadly, with the second delivery, one of my items was damaged but UBuy asked me for photo's of the broken item, photo's of the package slip and order number to follow up for me. Still havent received any feedback but I know I'll hear from them soon. Def will recommend this online company to anyone! Anywhere!
Ugh...what can I say...Vodacom stuffed up my upgrade last year...redid my upgrade earlier this year and again stuffed it up......wonderful. So, beginning this month I got a call from a gentleman wanting to beta my deal that I have by decreasing my monthly charge, increasing data and calling time and then he said he wanted to incl a new phone....the phone aint part of a new contract either. Just a add on from his side to sweeten the deal...I kinda saw this as softening the target lol it worked and I agreed to lower monthly bill with extra data, call and phone. I have not heard or received new phone since then. Yesterday I received a msg saying "your application has been placed on hold" and then requests new bank statements, payslips etc....why? I did not apply for a new application, it was an update on existing contract and phone was an add on made by the gentlemen that call me. Not an extra contract. Im sooooo annoyed with Vodacom its not funny anymore. So hoped that they would now finally fix the upgrade to match the contract I had before they stuffed it up. But NOOOOO...lets just deceive her once again with empty promises and hidden finer details of updates and promises made. Ugh....def need to change subscriber.
I cancelled my upgrade last year in October/November (under correction), as my upgrade agreement was changed by vodacom's personnel, without my consent or knowledge, after I agreed to the deal that was given to me on the day via phone. When I received my package, I received one S21 and not the S21 plus another phone as per agreed to. When I called in to query it, I was informed that first upgrade was cancelled and new one created for only 1 x Samsung S21 Phone. I cancelled the upgrade, sent back the package and kept my current contract as a month to month thing. Feb this year, Vodacom online called me with another deal but I was not that interested in the expensive deals. I did ask the consultant if he had deals with something similar or exactly as the contract I have at that moment on their system. I agreed on the deal where I got 2 x Hisense Infinity H40 phones for the price of one. Never had a hisense phone but I was looking for a new phone and the extra phone was perfect as I wanted to give my mom a new phone for her bday later this year. I also asked the consultant to make sure he keeps my package the same as I have at that moment...airtime, data etc and he confirmed all will stay the same. I did asked him on more than one occasions if my package is exactly as my current one and he confirmed my minutes will be the same. I did not even think of my extra data deal as that was an extra charge on my account, it was not incl in the phone package amount. I received a msg yesterday with my Vodacom bill and oh my hats! Being charged for a second sim card, which I do not know of or have activated at all....But wait.....Vodacom downgraded my free minutes from 200minutes to 50minutes!! Oh and my 5gig data, which was added to my contract as an extra cost, was removed! Im paying over R700 per month now with less minutes and no Data and a paying for a sim card I dont use or activated!!!! What a **** upgrade scam!!! I called Vodacom customer care this morning and asked for this to be checked and rectified. The lady could not assist me and said only the online upgrades department can help me. I have not heard from them as yet. Prob wont as they are too ashamed of what they've done. I will NEVER upgrade anything with Vodacom EVER AGAIN! Had my 1st cell phone nr since 2000 when I was 16 and I still have that nr today on a pay as you go, from Vodacom. I got my first contract nr early 20's....and this is the kind of service I get for being a loyal customer year after year for 20years+ ....never missing payments.... Definitely time to cancel all contracts when contract time is up and move over to another network.
Absolutely love buying from Snatcher...affordable prices and delivery time is excellent. Def my nr one stop for future presents to fam and friends
I have just started with dialdirect insurance for my vehicle and from the start it has been non pleasant. Firstly the installer they sent to install the tracker on my vehicle looked dodgy. No official card to show who he works for, nor did he have any form of company clothing on to identify the same. Then comes the uploading of vehicle inspection to the website. Well, lets say that it has been 'faulty' since I started trying to upload the pictures of my vehicle from day one. I even emailed them two and a half weeks ago the first time to say their website is faulty, to which they confirmed their IT is busy sorting it out. I should just try again later. A week later still nothing has been fixed and this week nothing as well. But when I query it again the lady on customers services is quick to say "I'd advise you to go to Glassfit" Why inconvenience myself to drive to a glass fit centre when I am given the option to upload pics myself. Now I have to take off work to have this done by someone else when I can do it myself? Why is your website not working??!!! Its a disgrace for a insurance company to have an IT person, which I hope is qualified to fix problems, because by the looks of it, that qualification means squad because he or she cant even fix the problem that was reported over two weeks ago! Thank you for inconveniencing me now that I have to take off work to go find a glassfit in order to complete the vehicle inspection, that could've been done over two weeks ago when I first started trying to upload the pictures on to the website. Cant wait for the 3 years to be over so that I can cancel my subscription and tracking subscription.
How can one be overcharged for fuel not used????!! When I received the vehicle the meter reading said 386km till refueling is required. I used their vehicle for a week and did not require refueling in between. On the day I called Olga at Pomona offices to arrange for collection I went and filled up the tank till the first click of the pump. I looked at the meter reading and it showed I can drive for 514km before refueling is required. WOW! I did not even get a full tank of petrol in the vehicle. I did take photo's of the first reading when I received the car and after I filled up the tank for them to collect the car. I emailed Olga my concern and told her I dont mind filling up the tank more than what was required but its a JOKE! If I did not fill up the vehicle I would most likely have been charged for a complete full tank on that vehicle. And why do you want to rip me off??? I looked after your vehicle and gave it back with more petrol than what you supplied me with!!! Oh and then I also received an invoice for R61.26 as that is what they threw in afterwards to fill up the tank. I emailed Olga on that same day that I gave back the car all the photo's and till date she has not come back to me. I just received a pmt from Pomono's branch less the R61.26 Now, who's going to reimburse me for the fuel I threw in that was unnecessary because I DID NOT GET A FULL TANK IN THAT VEHICLE???!!! I WILL MOST DEFINITLY SPREAK THE WORD THAT EVERYONE MUST CHECK THEIR TANK BEFORE SIGNING FOR IT BECAUSE YOU JUST CANT BE TRUSTED! YOU WILL RIP US OFF AT ANY COST. Not amused at all The comment from Victoria Mtsweni says"With regards to your comments on being charged for fuel, I would like to advise that regardless of what the fuel gauge says at time of return, each and every vehicle is sent from our branch to be refuelled to ensure that all of our customers receive a full tank of fuel upon collection. " Again Ill ask the question.....did I receive a full tank upon collection???!!!! NOOOOOO! Definitely wont recommend using this company at all!!!
