I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the condition and maintenance of the Virgin Active Horizon gym facility. There have been ongoing issues with the spinning bikes, many of which are broken and can only be adjusted using a number 13 spanner. This is highly impractical and unsafe for members who expect fully functional and user-friendly equipment. Despite numerous complaints being submitted to head office by several members, there has been no visible action taken to resolve these concerns. In addition to the equipment issues, the overall standard of the gym is deteriorating. Much of the equipment appears outdated and poorly maintained, which negatively impacts the training experience. More concerning, however, is the state of the changerooms. There is a noticeable presence of ****roaches, which raises serious hygiene and health concerns. While we understand that fumigation may be conducted from time to time, it is clearly not effective or frequent enough to address the problem. As paying members, we expect a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. The current conditions fall significantly short of these expectations. We kindly request urgent intervention to: • Repair or replace the broken spinning bikes • Upgrade and properly maintain gym equipment • Address the hygiene issues in the changerooms with effective pest control measures • Provide feedback on the actions that will be taken and timelines for resolution We trust that this matter will be treated with the seriousness it deserves and look forward to your prompt response.
I purchased a box of caffeine shots from Dis-Chem Ridgeview, only to find that several shots were missing from the sealed packaging. I immediately reported the issue via customer service, expecting it to be addressed promptly—but I received no response at all. It’s extremely disappointing that a store like Dis-Chem Ridgeview would not only sell an incomplete product, but also completely ignore a legitimate customer complaint. This reflects poorly on both the store and Dis-Chem as a brand. I would appreciate it if Dis-Chem Ridgeview could finally acknowledge this issue and offer a resolution—either by replacing the missing items or issuing a refund. I’ve been a loyal customer, but this experience has left a very bad impression.

I was quite impressed by the level of dedication from Pacific Panelbeaters in Roodepoort. I took my car for some dents fixing, they didn't just properly fix them but they went beyond call of duty and fixed other areas that were not quoted for. Credit goes to Miss Kamo, Miss N, Mr L, Mr Blacklabel and the Team. Everything including petrol was still in the car, it is very rare for this kind of business judging my past experiene with other service provider. Keep up the good work!
I sent the cashsend on the 7th November 2023, when a person tried to redeem on the 9th of November 2023 at 17:53:57 as per their receipt. the error message "Cashsend Already Redeemed Contact the Sender 94", when i enquired with this useless bank they said it was redeemed at 17:53:59, 2 seconds after the error message. I've been wasted my airtime calling these ***lets with the promise my issue will be resolved; instead i am getting the messages below. "Thank you for your request. Please be advised that your request relating to case number 09186086 has been closed as duplicate. Linda Sibiya Absa Access Telephone: Not happy?" No flipping resolution is being communicated to me. they even promised to send the footage of the redemption, nothing is coming through. today when I called another ***let called Tumi gave an attitude.
On the 19th January 2023, I bought food from Nandos Sandton City, which was inclusive of box of veggies, when I left Sandton City I opened the box only to find that it was empty, I then called the store immediately and was told a lady called Ntokozo will send me WhatsApp for me to send her pictures but was never contacted. I further raised my issue with their twitter team to no avail . I quite disappointed with the way my issue was handled
I’ve opened the business banking account with FNB through BIzportal of the CIPC. I’ve received the Bank Card and account but the account is blocked. We were requested to submit the KYC documents and was submitted to businessaccountdocs1@fnb.co.za and was told it would take 2-24 hours for the account to active. I’ve been more than 2 months going back and forth, jumping from one FNB branch to another, phone call after phone call (the consultants are always claiming they are escalating my issue and will be resolved almost immediately but stories change everyday)
<p>On the 27th of November 2016 at about 11h30, I deposited R2000.00 into my account using the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) by the Springfield branch. Funny enough my cellphone didn't give me the notification. the Machine also didn't provide me with the receipt however the message appeared on the screen "Cash Retracted". when I checked the cash slot there was no money (meaning the ATM didn't retract the money), I requested STD Bank to view the cameras for the speedy resolution when I lodged my complaint with Standard Bank and was told to call ********** 000. They processed my complain ref no: ********** 985 and was told someone refer back to me within 4 days but to no avail. I've been calling ********** 000 for more than 3 weeks and still are not getting help. The service I am receiving is very appalling and can't stand it any longer. After this mess is sorted, I am closing down my account and will go to the bank that will appreciate me as the customer</p>
I bought a voucher at the Boxer Store in Elim mall on 30 December 2015 but when I tried to redeem it. the error message popped on my phone saying the voucher was invalid. I called Hollywood on the 2nd January 2016 seeking to find what was wrong with the voucher and was told to send the picture of my voucher on whatsapp no:0728214615 and someone was gonna attend to it and phone me back. There was no call i received from hollywoodbets. I again on the 6th of January called and was again told to send the picture on whatsapp and the assistance told me she was gonna forward the mail to the person responsible, for them to call me. again there was never a resolution. For third time I called on the 19th of January and followed the same process i followed before and was told someone was gonna call me but to no avail. I am wasting lot of airtime calling these people with no response whatsoever.
I would like to send my deepest gratitude to Lynn Booysen who was very helpful in resolving my Truworths Dispute and just wish all consultants had the same attitude as her. Keep it up!!! #LynnBooysen
