It's been enough of a battle trying to get quotes for tablets for the business I work for. I submitted a call back from the cell c web page. A few calls were missed as I was not in the office. When I eventually got a call with both parties present. I'm met with someone talking to someone in the background, clearly with food in her mouth. Completely unaware I have answered the phone. I repeatedly said hello into the phone and the woman on the other side just kept talking to her friend or whoever it was on the other side. She just remained totally oblivious to the fact that I had answered the call. I have the recording of the call since this was a business line she called. Too bad I never took the reference number down as I assumed it would be emailed to me.
One would swear Vodacom goes out its way to avoid your business. I need three quotes for the company I work for. Quotes for12 tablets on contract. Vodacom, have no business line, no email, and no formal means of obtaining a quote on their website. On their website,, the option is dumbed down to a useless screen print with no option to change the quantity or print out the price. (you have to make a screen print!) The phone numbers provided can only be accessed if you're using a Vodacom line!!!!! I can demonstrate this to them! 082135 does not work unless your on a Vodacom line, unlike MTN and Telkom, which do work. (However their sales team is also non existent.) This means, if you want to try haplessly to do business with Vodacom, you have to find someone with a Vodacom cell phone to contact their almost non existent sales team. Or, you have to use your private cellphone to call them on your company's behalf.
Thanks Spar for selling me super wet spar branded bushveld hardwood. Thanks for effectively *****ing my money and ruining my night Problem is I still have another bag of this wet slop to burn through. I bought this freshly cut wet junk a few months back and it's been sitting in my flat waiting for that four hour loadshed. Worse still, I even used a decent kindling. This wood is hissing like a cat. Stay away people. Buy elsewhere
Pretoria, Erasmuskloof Castle Walk The Big Al's in that shopping center has been there for well over ten years now. I have never seen it this bad. When walking in there now you can already see the lack of effort that has gone into the upkeep. No Television menus, just two menus stuck to the counter that you have to wait for the people who are leaning against it to move before you can read it. That been said, I went to order a Big Bacon, egg and cheese burger. I decided not to go for chips, so I tried for a Russian. I was told, they don't sell Russians anymore. I asked for a sputnik, I was told they don't sell that anymore either. They on the menu!! Another customer walked in and inquired about his order of chips. He was told they haven't started making it yet and that they can quickly make it for him. He told them his lunch break was over and that he had been waiting for the chips for quite some time. At this point I walked out. The lady at the counter was also very apathetic and lethargic to everything around her.
Great after sales service. Needed a minor adjustment to my chair which they sorted out in quick order. It's a fantastic chair too
Normally Ubereats are good, however I had an issue today when placing an order. My order was placed and during the process I got an error that "Oops something went wrong, try again later" I tried shortly after and the order went trough (I might have selected another meal) My first order arrives and I take it to my desk and saw the meal wasn't what I thought I ordered, as I sit down I get a call that my order has arrived, I go and have a look and saw that I had two orders on my app. This wouldn't have happened had the application had methods around this issue. I was of course billed for each order and I tipped each driver. Obviously I cant blame the drivers for this but there was no indication from the app my order had been placed after the error. I gave the one meal away at my office and ate the wrong order. (I'm not sure what happened that resulted in one or both of the orders been wrong) Since there is no method available to me for this sort of thing on the Ubereats website I had to resort to Hello Peter.
On Sep 24 2021 R5000 was debited from my account, this for a cell number I don't have!!! Fix it!! Your stupid phone system has no proper selections list for this kind of nonsense
My amount owed is climbing every month, the amount does not appear on the statements, I have canceled my service back in march yet DSTV seem fit to keep racking up up a bill on my profile. The only service I carry with them is an insurance fee of R35 for my decoder which I do pay for, so what costs am I carrying over??? Thank God I don't do debit order. People be warned, don't let these scammers near your bank account.
In general, I am satisfied with Vodacom's service and delivery. However I been billed for a number I tried to cancel, the call was made and after much struggle, I got through to a call center agent who could assist. In late 2017 or early 2018 I took an S9 package where a free phone was given with the contract. I sold the extra phone sealed in the package. Fast forward to the next upgrade and I get the S20+ package, however I am now been billed for the line rental for the free phone. (066 *** 3328) I called to cancel the service for that number and after a few bureaucratic issues eventually got through to someone who could assist correctly. At the end of the call he confirmed that the number would be cancelled. (I cant do this as I was never in possession of the sim card.) I was also informed of a special whereby if I extend my contract for an extra three months there would be some sort of cheaper rate (Cant remember the details) For the duration of the package that came with the phone the line rental for the free phone was not charged on the old invoice. When the contract ended the line rental started to be charged for. I can understand this and have no argument. But I have called to cancel that service and wish to be reimbursed for the latest invoice.
I needed to cancel my DSTV service as I need the extra money for other purposes. I made my final payment for Feb 2021 on January 26. I cancelled my subscription on their website at the beginning of February for the March 1. As I had obtained an Openview decoder to fill the void, I changed to that early as I had already seen the repeats on DSTV. On April 8 I get an SMS that my payment is overdue and my service has been cut. I called the service center to enquire. The helpdesk clerk confirmed my cancelation had been cancelled but that somebody had reactivated it on (I'm not sure of the date, it might have been March 31 at 10:30 in the morning or night) He then asked if anyone else in the household could have reactivated the account. I said I live alone and therefor not. I also asked if there was a recording of the call. I was informed they would do an investigation and get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. To date, I have not been contacted.
