As we have all been ****med with everyone sharing the same experiences, we are now being told that Total Guard has entered voluntary liquidation. Ruan Jacobs, the owner, has been ****ming people and their businesses of their money for more than a year. He is a con artist and a *****. Can anyone share who the liquidation attorney is? It's not about the money ****** or the fact that goods were never delivered, emails unanswered, whatsapp, calls or messages ignored; it's to ensure Ruan Jacobs is never in a position to do this again or to simply walk away having blatantly ****** from people. He is a disgrace of a human being.
I have spent a considerable amount of money with Cielo Furniture store in the last couple of weeks and the level of service received from them I can only sum up as an absolute DISGRACE. It's a pity you cannot attach images of the state in which the products were received and I've only received 2 of 13 items to date. Firstly, they use a third party courier to transport their premium pieces of furniture. The Jagger Spice corner couch arrived with an entire part of the couch missing as well as the ottoman. As their policy is door to door delivery, there is no possibility to address this issue with the courier at the time, as they simply offload outside of their vehicle and leave the rest up to you. Where their waybill states 3 boxes, we in actual fact received 4 boxes but this was due to the part delivery of a bed which was delivered a few days ago. The bed was delivered in second hand boxes, belonging to other furniture pieces from the store and arrived with no instructions on how to assemble as a result. To date, the above has yet to be resolved, they have been unwilling to accommodate nor acknowledge that this is simply unacceptable. My recommendation and I will be sure to follow my own advise, rather spend your money with an alternate furniture company who believes in service, quality and delivery, because this company is clueless and could learn a lot. They haven't quite cottoned on to the fact that although their furniture is great, without the after sales, service and delivery you cannot and will not retain clients.
I placed an order with Volpes online as they have always been my preferred stockist of linen. Having said this, the order was placed 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive my order despite following up the courier company, DPD Laser, directly on numerous occasions. Eventually I called Volpes to ask for their assistance to ensure my order be delivered and after being promised a follow up and feedback, I have never heard back! I am still waiting for my order!!! I am disgusted by the after service level as this was not a small order but clearly they do not value the business of their customers!!!
I have never dealt with such an incompetent bank in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call centre operators who read off a script, give you pre-approved answers without listening to the problem at hand, shift you from one call entre to the next, where you wait online for an hour as they are experiencing high volumes of calls only to be told a Manager cannot attend to you because they're on lunch. Useless bank with useless service!!!!!!
I have placed two orders with this company. After the first delayed delivery and change of order due to no stocks available, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt by placing a second order. Unfortunately the lesson should've been learnt the first time around. If you don't mind waiting weeks before receiving your order, then I guess this shouldn't be an issue. If you expect to receive what you've ordered, you will be sadly disappointed. If you expect your refund to be processed timeously, sadly once again you will be disappointed. If you expect the company to respond to your emails, be prepared to send a follow up daily for a couple of weeks. If you expect to speak to a human to resolve your issues, sadly they don't receive calls 'due to the nature of their business' nor will they call you as promised. In summary, I would put this company down as simply offering the consumer a bad experience, providing poor service, failure to deliver and a disappointment from start to finish.
I am sure my experience must be shared by others who have been taken for a joy ride with this con artist, Vaughn Mcknight. If you are ever considering using this man for any job, be assured that he will take your money after completing 50% of the job (if you're lucky) and you will never see or hear from him again. After paying a huge deposit and further advancements on the balance due, my house has been left in complete disarray. He is apparently a jack of all trades, offering services from building, cleaning, shop fitting etc. He is based in the Roodepoort area and offers his services to surrounding areas. Don't be fooled like I was.
This company contradicts the very meaning of the word RELIABLE. Don't waste your time or money placing orders, because the only platform this company performs on is processing payments. No product for your money, no customer service, they don't even have phone lines or email since all attempts of communication go unanswered.
If you're looking for customer service or a reliable online shopping experience, heed my warning when I say this is not the company for you! After placing an online order which was processed and payment effected, I received a call a few days later to inform me that they could not supply half my order. Accepting that this shouldn't in principle happen but understanding that this does happen from time to time, I happily agreed that reimbur*****t for the short delivered goods would be made. I have to date not received reimbur*****t, besides numerous emails being sent with no reply. Trying to contact them via there social media page didn't work either, as they simply deleted my posts. If anyone can offer a contact number, it would be greatly appreciated. I am completely appalled that this company treats its customers this way and essentially steals from them. How they are still in business is beyond me, as I will certainly never support them again!
