I ordered a JVC Freezer from Take-alot - they delivered it and once opened it didn't work. It keeps giving a EC code and does not freeze.I tried contacting take-alot but was diverted to Nu World.Nu World's returns department does not answer. I also contacted JVC as a last resort but they didn't even know they make freezers (hand in front of face). Be that as it may, I paid take-alot and now i must struggle getting any kind of relief from either party. This is disgusting. How is it possible for such huge businesses to just do as they please.

I had an arrears amount due to contracts not paid because they expired and i cancelled them. I paid the arrears just to get my current number active. I made an eft payment of half which they said will only show in 2 days. Then i drove to the vodacom store to pay the other part so that it reflects quicker. This was on 16 Sept. they said the account will be active between 24 and 48 hours. Is the 21st today and i had to phone vodacom about 10 times each time with the same response (within 2 hours) - every time it takes a minimum of 20 minutes to go through the process. If not longer. And worst of all i must now still try and cancel the data contracts that have expired and were cancelled. But i am still being billed for it. I will probably not be refunded for the last several months after actually cancelling. Which must be done via email. Its such a waste of time. I will definitely not upgrade again but rather migrate to a different service provider. Vodacom has serious bad service.
WORST INSURANCE EVER!!!!! Make call sorts of promises about shortfall insurance, until you claim - then they throw all sorts of fine print into your face. Wesbank is also in bed with them, they get Hollard to contact you and then when you claim there are al sorts of excuses.
