I have had a bond with RMB for almost 20 years Am renewing it now and the service has been **********. Have been told that it has been approved in principle, but the two people I am dealing with (Personal Manager) have been so bad I asked to change my contact person. He said that if I change from him I will have to start again and redo all the paperwork. So I must keep him or start over. And his manager is on leave (although she reads my messages and does not reply) so she can't help.
I am so frustrated with RMB, so much has changed in the company. I contacted my “personal manager”, Sikhumbuzo, a month ago to renew my bond. He handed over to a team member Sello. I have not had a call from them since unless I have initiated it. A month later I get am told all documents have been received. I have not sent all documents! When I ask if I can escalate my frustrations about the lack of personal service and support, I get told I can do so on the website. When I ask to speak to someone, I am told that “I would not give you the CEO’s number so I will not let you have any office contact number”. I must complete a standard form, that does not make sense. I do not have a standard income and expenses.
I have been sending emails since 22 April LAST YEAR, 2023 to cancel my BEAM as my car had been ******. I have even been to there office. I am still being charged every month My bank can’t stop it and MiX Telematics / BEAM will not! Surely this is theft, ***** or something?
Staying at Kowie River Chalets managed by First Group Last night people tried to break in while we were sleeping. Traumatic for my family. I called the number on their welcome letter and website to be told, “We can’t take your call as we are making happy memories’ Shouted for help for an hour. Must have left 20 messages asking for help. Still no reply 12 hours later! Security came after an hour and apologised as guard was sleeping. Promised to have locks fixed and a extra patrol tonight. No help from First Group SA as they are closed. The most insulting is that I have now been able to speak to the resort manager, Kerry – 8 hours later, who is totally unaware of the incident. I have hoped that first thing this morning management who enquire as to what happened and my family’s wellbeing. But I am told that break-ins are not uncommon here. So, I supposed that is why I should manage my expectations and not expect and response.

CMH Ford, Hatfield are advertising a Ford Everest in excellent condition. I called to enquire and was told its is 5K more than advertised, but price is neg. The car has over overspray and, in my view, has been panel beaten in several places. Ford told this is white polish and will come off. There are several areas where the gap between panels is inconsistent. Some places are not even properly sprayed, i.e., still bare steel. Ford said they provide a report on work done within two hours. After 6 hours of trying, I was told that there had been a slight bump that had been repaired and that the report would be sent to me in the next hour. I asked that it be sent ASAP so I can decide on purchasing and get insurance in place. Eddie told me he is too busy, but it will be done by the end of the day. This was not done. Despite confirming he had the report and in my messages confirming this, I was told today that there is no report but an invoice from a panel beater for the work done. (Bad work done). Ford will still not tell me what the price is as the manager is too busy. The invoice Ford provided for their repairs does not say what work was done at all. And this was done VAT free? I have been calling the panel beater, Marvic Autobody all day, with not answer. Their website does not have a contact number but has 5 reviews over 6 years, the most recent 3 years ago. The number their invoice to Ford is not registered to any company, but to Marie. When I sent a WhatsApp’s to Marie I a few replies to say that he / she owns several companies and unless I write and explain why they must return my call and what it is about; they will not??? I would hope that Ford would have used a more reputable, legitimate, traceable, VAT registered subcontractor. After two days, and leaving several messages, the Dealer Principal at CMH Ford has not rep**** to my calls as my preference is to talk to them directly before resorting Hello Peter The car is still being advertised as being in excellent condition.

I have done a review to say how when my car was ******, I was unable to get through to this company as I kept getting messages on their phone system to say that they can not help with ****** vehicles outside office hours. They rep**** on Hello Peter to say that they have been in contact with me. I am still waiting. I have now spent an hour on the phone trying to cancel this poly, but my call keeps getting dropped. How can a company, that operates in the emergency realm offer such bad (non existent service)
If you want to put you and your family’s life at risk… I recommend using Mix Telematix, Matrix, Beame vehicle tracking that is recommended by OUTsurance. On Saturday my car was ****** form a church in Weltevredenpark. The church had car cards, private security, and a boom control. My car was ****** at 13H52 (I have the registration number of the ******* car, but nothing is being done with this info – was not included in the police report). I realized that my car was ****** at 14H10 and called Telematix, BEAMe. I kept getting the message “If you have been highjacked or your car is ****** press 1” After pressing option 1 I kept getting the message “Our office hours are Monday to Friday, please call back in office hours” I has a few friends calling all the contact numbers on my invoices and on their website. I called OUTsurance, who recommended them, and the number they gave me did not work either. If one calls a number that may be incorrect (and it was not), then surely the auto response in an emergency should give you the correct number and not fob you off because it is office hours. My car was recovered 30 minutes later. Striped and written off – a waste of valuable time – imagine if it had been a hijacking! Take saved could have resulted in arrests – it was less than 30min and 15km. I have complained to Telematix, Matrix, Beame, but have yet to have my call returned.
