Pls hear my complaint here. On my mtn profile I've had data only bundle prepaid options on made4me 100/100 GB data for R299 and 100/100GB data on my Town for R350 throughout February. Before I went to sleep late at night yesterday these options existed so I woke up today & bought airtime but when I reached on the mtn app both these options are gone and all that's left are ****py options that only make sense to mtn as the type of ******* a person from my area should be buying. Why are networks allowed to use and abuse us like this. If they were forthcoming with what they were selling I wouldn't have bought this large airtime anyway but I feel like they use trickery to get customers to buy the airtime and then remove all the options that attracted the user in the first place. Why is this allowed, why are these networks given a greenlight to do to us as they please. Can mtn refund my airtime at least because I've already to decided to take the hard road instead and go through the month without internet connection thanks to mtn. If I intended to buy a 100/100GB data bundle and that wasn't even enough, but I could at least adjust my expectations to the size of my bundle and cover the month so than what am I supposed to do with 5/5GB with some voice bundles, what kind of ******* has mtn been told about our data needs in the townships. This is a clear trickery, and shouldn't be allowed by icasa in the first place and mtn also shouldn't be treating its paying customers like *******. On prepaid you already have to accept paying way more than on contract options but then this trickery conduct is the one that's unbearable. What they always come out saying on these bundles is that they are on a 'rotational basis' they are not permanent & are different for every user, but even then I didn't forsee to be ******* like this esp since its month end and most people would be recharging their prepaid accounts anyway so why remove these options now!!!?
What vodacom is doing must surely be *******, yet laws of this country continually allows bullies like vodacom free reign in destruction of our financial lives,. Vodacom is very active to enforce its 'legal rights' against any user looking for an exit on a contract without penalty payments precisely because VODACOM IS FAILING TO PROVIDE THE AGREED UPON SERVICE!! (contract) NOT because the user prematurely no longer need the contract products or is unable to pay due to changes in their affordability etc. When vodacom is in this state of not being able to meet its contractual service obligations nobody holds it accountable but the user is expected to continue payments and there's support systems to enforce this enslavements including debit order enforcement by banks when they have no direct involvement with the contractual agreement between the two parties. The same bank will have no resources to at least hear the case of the user that has led them to wanting to stop the debit order mandate and therefore the banks act in the interest of the bully not the victim in such a case
I saw a payflex checkout with one retailer around September 15, 2025 & decided to give it a try. I easily opened an account with them but then I decided to do a bit of background check on payflex & I discovered a LOT of unhappy users on hellopeter. Upon further reviewing their social media pages I picked up that they are an evasive company, wanting social media presence but won't allow user comments & so forth and that sent red flags. For the past three weeks I've been trying to to have them deactivate my account. I sent the request directly from my payflex account and also reached out to their support via email but all I've had in return is being sent from pillar to post. My account is not owing anything as I hadn't begun to transact on it and hadn't even submitted my banking details with them but for whatever reason they won't deactivate it, very unhelpful and more like a spam service. Any response they may give here is just to save face, make themselves look like they are being helpful when they know they are the opposite, a **** through & through I would go further to say I know many reputable online retailers associate with payflex but henceforth for me any retailer that does this I lose all trust against it, otherwise why won't they see what kind of business payflex is running!!?
Anyone thinking of signing up for a vodacom contract I would advice them to run away. I'm on a 2 year contract and have spent half the time pleading for a service I am paying for. I've made numerous requests to cancel the contract without penalties as vodacom acknowledges there's issues with my nearest cell tower but they have given me a runaround for months. This week Monday I made another request to cancel and the service agent promised a 72hr turnaround which never happened & calling for follow-up today the agents pretend there's issues with the line like they can't hear me and I was blocked because of "unusual activity from my number to avoid *****ulent activity". They block my line to avoid *****ulent activity🙄 what about the ***** they commit to me everyday forcing me to stay on a contract they themselves admit they cannot service
I placed two orders with them of a total of R1300 and the first order for R500 for two enamel pots was okay and gave me confidence to place the second order. Unfortunately, the second order was just plain *******, out of about 20 enamel items including saucers, mugs, plates, bowls etc only 3 items were in an expected sale condition. The rest of the items were rejects with uneven paint finish, rough surfaces that could scratch a finger if you run it through the surface, some were even with small dents in the bodywork. My experience with them has been very bad, they don't value customers, their business is more like a **** because they sell reject goods at premium prices
Ever since I have made payment for Rain 4G internet subscription, I am slowly regretting the decision. My first struggle was when I couldn't pay for the said subscription because of issues with their app failing to communicate with my banking app to facilitate the payment. Only going through the following day (last Saturday, 3am) Now, I am sitting with a non-delivery issue. For two consecutive days starting yesterday I have received an sms, from the courier, promising delivery on the day. The creepy part is that both the sms's came through at exactly the same time 9:30am, after which is deafening silence. The similarity in times makes me wonder if perhaps the sms are from an automated system!!! Trying to find support in Rain's supposed Facebook support page or Twitter is pointless because they either block you or blue tick you and move right along. What I hope for infact is a clear plan of delivery, not this thing they are doing now via their couriers of informing of a delivery that never occurs. I suspect they might respond to this post with other 'grand' assurances but I really don't need their cosmetic response what I need is an honest delivery plan. If they can only deliver next week, let them say so and then keep to that agreed date. In any case they can't go any further in dragging down their reputation in as far as I am concerned. I sincerely hope when I eventually receive the sim it would be worth all this trouble.
This was an email I sent to Incredible Connection yesterday (04/11/21) afternoon after I had been shopping at their Galleria store earlier on. Up to now I haven't received any response or a call from them Today (04/11/2021) I bought a xiaomi mi box S streaming device around store opening time. Whilst at the store I made a stern plea to the salesperson that we activate the device whilst at the store at which I was dismissed with contempt and the explanation was that such activations costs R250. I was taken aback by this because I failed to understand how a simple plug and play test, with a potential to pick up an operational issue, could amount to that R250, however, I did as adviced and left the store without a checkup. Arriving at home I unboxed the device went through the 3 easy steps as explained outside the box, to my dismay the device is failing to send the signal to the tv (HD Ready Sinotec LED tv) and when I removed the device from the HDMI input and plug my laptop in its place (same cable that came with device) I get a signal Therefore since the device is turning on, with a white light (front) and red standy light (back), my only suspicion is that the device is not sending the intended signal (faulty) and this could have been picked up at the store but instead I am saddled with a device that won't play as intended and I blame the store for this mess. Very poor customer handling
