Good service and follows ups after opening up an account.
Went to the females bathroom used the middle stall because there are only 3 stalls. Closed the latch behind me and then realised there was no handle to open the door. I was stuck in the bathroom for 15 minutes screaming for help because the door was stuck. The front desk is right outside the bathroom. Another customer had to kick the door from the outside to open it and I was finally able to get out. Reported it to the staff and they did not seem to care at all.
I recently purchased a laptop for my sister to use for her studies. After a few months of using the laptop, it started freezing, screen would turn blue and then make a whirring sound. I requested that the laptop be repaired. It took over a month to get the laptop back and once we did it was evident that nothing was done apart from factory resetting the device because a week after getting the laptop back the same thing happened. I took a video and I then asked for a refund and I am now being forced by Takealot staff to accept the faulty device because they are refusing to refund me. The reason that they are trying to force this faulty device on us is because the warranty is going to end soon and we will be stuck with a laptop that does not work. They keep telling me it is up to the manufacturer to decide whether or not I will be refunded and according to the manufacturer this device is now allegedly repaired after sending it in for a second time. I have been having back and forth emails with their team where they are insisting that the device be returned to me. I have never had an issue with Takealot before but this experience has left me extremely disappointed and disgusted with the level of service I have been receiving. The laptop is used for my sister's studies and who in their right mind would accept a laptop for the second time after nothing was done the first time. I did not know that Takealot forces their customers to accept faulty devices because you refused to refund them. I even requested that a credit be added to my account so that I may purchase a different brand on your website. It has been weeks since I requested a call from the team. No one has responded till today. You are welcome to keep your defective laptop and my money since you are refusing to refund me and I am refusing to accept a defective product.
Terrible service. I have upgraded my line speed and my connection is slower than it was before the upgrade was done. I phone the call centre frequently but all that happens is that I end up wasting my airtime because the speed is still the same. I am paying so much for fibre and I am struggling to work from home, I have to go to coffee shops to have my meetings! I have logged numerous requests on the app and all I get is useless sms's and email's with reference numbers but nothing has changed. No one calls or fixes the issue. I'm really disappointed in this disgusting level of poor service and connectivity I am experiencing.
The staff at Clearwater mall were so sweet and they made our drinks super quick.
I'm extremely disappointed in the lies and bad customer service I received from MTN Clearwater mall. I bought a Oppo Reno 5G on contract and wireless earphones were included. I was told in store that if I experience any problems I should bring it back and their technicians would look at it. When I used my wireless earphones, one side was not working. I went in store today and asked if it can be looked at and I was told that the earphones were not part of the contract and I was refused any help. The overall service in the store is disappointing and the staff treat the customers extremely rudely and they are not friendly. This is my first experience with MTN and it is not a great one. I have read through the contract and there are no exclusions regarding the warranty or the accessories.
