The most unprofessional people we have ever encountered at their Durban Branch. We purchased Thousands of rands worth of furniture for our new home in Durban from the JHB store, and we asked them to deliver. They assured us that by a certain date it will be there, and so we made arrangements to fly down and make ourselves available to receive the goods. Come that day, my wife called the durban office to find out about the time, and the rude Indian lady tells her that WE should KNOW that it takes 10 days to get the furniture, and somebody named Vishal it out the whole day, so they cannot do anything and there is nothing we can do. Honestly we bought things from Hirsch and Makro, and I must say their service was a million times better. Durban Indians should not deal with customers as they have no way of speaking to them and to help resolve issues. This is definitely a store that I will not encourage anybody to purchase anything or have any interactions with. It must be stated that the store in JHB that helped us, was extremely professional. Please teach your people in Durban some customer service etiquette.
MTN has apparently outsourced their sales to a call centre, who gives incorrect information. They call and claim that they are from MTN, and they have all of your details. The lady gave me incorrect packages, and authorised the upgrade without my consent. I get an SMS, and when I go to the website, I see that there are better packages available which was not offered initially and I therefore rejected it. Then when trying to get hold of MTN customer service to help with the issue, they send you around in circles, from the call transfer getting cut, then telling me to call another company because they can't action it themselves. I have a contract with MTN, why must I chase other companies. That should be MTN's problem, not the customer. I want service, I am not there to do their job. So now I have cancelled my contract, I urge other to cancel as well and go on a prepaid rather
Horrible experience. Someone from this useless company called me for an upgrade and gave me the incorrect package. When I attempted to contact them and call back, even contacted MTN, nobody helped me. They all gave me the run around. Cancel your contract with MTN.
There should be a minus 100 for this one. It's a non-existent store. They bank with many banks, and all these banks need to close their accounts. They basically promise you that they can deliver the books you're looking for, but they then disappear. When you contact them or call their number, it goes to a prerecorded message and then goes blank. Nobody gets back to you.
Most unprofessional and uncooperative delivery company. I would urge clients to rethink their choice when using their services. In Jan 2023, I ordered an item from the USA. They gave me the UPS option, that was the only service that was there. The company in the USA made all arrangements for the delivery and I just made payment. The item from a health store, was a liquid to prevent kidney stones. When the item was in country in South Africa, I was told to pay a customs fee, or they will return the item immediately. It was more of a threat than a courtesy from the tone of the email. I paid immediately and waited for delivery to my home. After 2 weeks I get another email that they had to return the item due to some technicality of the government exchange laws on liquids coming into the country. I accepted their communication, and asked for my money for the customs to be refunded. They refused. Every month I asked them, and was pushed from pillar to post, with no help. Nine months have pasted, and they still don't care. They ask me for documents that I have no access to, like what the USA company has filled out. I explained all of this to them, but they make more excuses hoping that I would just leave it and go away. I contacted them in September and still they just push me from one department to another acting like somebody is on it. If this is how they treat customers, one can only wonder how they treat your parcels. They are garbage, and I'm sure because of this attitude it will be their fall and they will go out of business soon. Kumaran Naidu - Film Director
Pathetic experience . I purchased a diesel generator 3 phase, online, which stated that it can work on a single phase house. The ad also claimed that it was a siren generator. When my electrician connected the generator to my DB board, nothing worked. We followed the manual, but nothing. I tried contacting Leroy merlin and they were not easy to get a hold of. Eventually after hours of calls and holding on, we spoke to a so called technician in the company named Mandla who advised that we need to get a single phase generator. Irritated at the experience, especially the non-helpful staff, I merely asked that they take their product back and give me what I wanted. I was willing to take a single phase silent generator. Nobody got back to me. They don't care about customer service. And what they fail to let you know is that when you buy from their online store, it does not become their problem as the customer must now trace the supplier of the generator and 'fix' the problem. There is no reference number for my query, I don't have my refund in order to secure another generator, so I am out of pocket for R45000. This is a money grabbing business who does not care about after sales. Really they should close down instead of trying to scam people.
Excellent service, and great ambience. The food was huge portions, and very tasty as well. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The prices are more than reasonable.
I have had nothing but grief from this company. They quickly take your money, and hire people from the street to do the work on your property. The workers have no affiliation to the company and are irresponsible. The work was haphazard and lots of issues came up afterwards. More leaks in the pool, none of the things they took out was put back. Some cosmetics were lost. We could not get a hold of the owner of the company after we paid in full. She just disappeared and refused to take calls. Later on the workers started to come to our house demanding pay as the company did not pay them. We had to tell them to go back to the company that hired them. I feel sorry for the people they take advantage of. This company is definitely a scam.
I just want to give out a huge thank you for the kind assistance of Spec-Savers Krugersdorp Medicross centre, for being so helpful in assisting me in replacing a broken frame. The receptionist was very polite and extremely helpful. She called the other branch in Clearwater to try and expedite the process much quicker and although I still had to make another trip to another branch, the helpfulness and professionalism from Krugersdorp just made it worthwhile. It is so good to know that there are wonderful and kind individuals who WILL go out of their way to assist you. Thanks again to the optometrist and the receptionist for making my day and helping my son to see properly again.
The branch at Struben's Valley has the most unhelpful staff. I have never been to many other stores, but this one is terrible in terms of service. They seem like bots whose only job is to avoid customers when customers try to approach them. They can really learn a good few tips from Chamberlain's who on the other hand are really great with service. Builder's you are pathetic, when a customer asks you for help you send them away to other aisles just so that you don't have to deal with them. Horrible attitude.
