KFC has a new Streetwise 5 offering whereby two cups of Coke and 2 brea****ls are now added in additional at no extra cost, the problem is however the staff is not including it when serving your take away, but are keeping it for themselves. It is direct theft from the staff working at the Durbanville KFC.
I used Bolt for the first time yesterday and paid the fee quoted but when I was dropped off the fee was more than double that I was quoted ther was even a waiting fee included although I never moved from the spot when the ride was confirmed, I eventually received a note to say I received a 50% discount but the fee was still more than what I was quoted, the scary thing is that they have direct access to your account and before you know it your account was already billed with the additional amount. The question is how can you trust them??????????
Two Issues: 1) On two occasions Uber Eats delivery disappeared with my food and the 3 occasion I eventually got the food after a lot of heated discussions and very cold food by the time it was delivered never again will I use them. 2) On 6/5/22 my vehicle broke down in Durbanville and I downloaded their App and requested a ride, I paid the amount due but they never arrived, after about 30mins I received a message that they could not find an available driver, but I have now lost the fee I gave paid. As an International company there service really sucks and I will never recommeend them to any person
My vehicle broke down opposite HI-Q Durbanville on 06/05/22 I asked for their assistance and they ordered the necessary spares and repaired the vehicle on a busy Friday afternoon service excellence they will see me again in the future. Thank you

Started to use Mr D for deliveries, what a fast improvement on Uber never again will I use UBER
A few weeks ago I wrote about UBER drivers stealing your food, unfortunately, I again had the same experience on Saturday 15th January when they were supposed to deliver an order from Rocomamas in Durbanville at 18.45 the evening, at 19.15 I phoned Rocomamas and was advised that the order was collected at about 18.35, but the driver did not leave as he was waiting for another order, apparently, the Uber drivers will not deliver one order at a time, he picked up another order at Rocomamas at approximately 18.45 and left to deliver. as the food was not delivered The Manager, Lucky, offered to redo the order at no cost and I had to pick it up, what a superb customer service experience. I once again want to warn you about using UBER deliveries as they are really stealing your food, they also did not take the food back to Rocomamas as a non-delivery. Please note that as they do not deliver only one order but normally waits for a second-order it also stands to reason why your food is normally cold when delivered. My daughter lives in Switzerland and ordered a takeaway for us on Saturday evenings, due to Uber we are now going to stop this practice and yet another small opportunity for some income to a restaurant and work for UBER delivery services is lost, only in SA, this will happen.
