Daughter wanted a Volpes voucher for her birthday; I went to Volpes Ferndale on Republic, 27 Jan told them what I wanted and after a few minutes they told me the computer was down. I went to another shop came back 20 minutes later. yay, computer working. Asked for a R1500 voucher; cashier goes to the back to fetch cards. Credit card used to pay, card voucher won't link to amount; 3 or 4 tries. cashier goes to back. incredibly hot in shop. Cashier comes back. Tries another card then another. 30 mins gone. OK refund money please, too hot, out of time. cashier disappears to back AGAIN; comes back, gets me to complete form for EFT; messes on computer, takes cr card machine, payment declined..For A REFUND?? Tries again. Disappears to back. Again. Tries to link voucher again. Fail. Tries refund a few more times. I asked for the manager "in a meeting'. Tells me EFT refund will take 3 or 4 days. No voucher and R1500 out of pocket. Volpes: Train your staff, upgrade your comp system, have your credit card m/c upgraded and GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!
why do mweb not communicate with their customers? We pay R975 per month for uncapped 100/100 internet speed; as we were having problems streaming I checked the speed. It varies between 38.1 dl/46ul and 50/49. I emailed them on 29 April and have followed up 3 or 4 times. Beyond the standard 'we have received your email' no response! Why are we getting less than half of what we pay for? A/c no 2653148 Are there better internet service providers out there?
I subscribe to Kindle Unlimited, therefore a monthly charge. I occasionally buy kindle books. An amount of R233 was taken from my a/c on 4th June. I can't reconcile this with a purchase. Amazon are now impossible to contact. Customer service takes one in circles, no emails read. ****??
I've been trying to sort out my V membership since July. No one reads emails, no one does what they promise: Disc ref 9750230932. Broker promises to resolve & call back; doesn't do so. How is it possible, in over 3 months of Virgin Active workouts 5xweek plus many Parkruns, I have a grand total of 860 Disc miles? Where are the promised rewards? Is my membership even active, although the app tells me I have diamond status?? V number 5003239665.
We went to The Digital Experience today as we had a problem with streaming Britbox. We were approached by Ken. He was amazing, understood the problem, came up with the solution - a Mi Box - and took us to a TV to explain exactly how to install and use it. Thanks to him I was able to install the Mi Box and BritBox without any problems. We are now able to stream whatever we like. Ken is a polite, friendly and helpful man and deserves a pat on the back! next time were're in the market for tech, Ken will be our go to guy!
I moved my accounts from Nedbank to Absa months ago as the Nedbank service was so bad. Unfortunately, my husband still has accounts with Nedbank. He needs to open a global account; we went to Nedbank Ferndale on Republic for information; apparently the only person to deal with this is off today. We drove to Cresta branch. The helpdesk agent didn’t know anything about consultants dealing with global accounts. There was a female employee sitting to the left of him reading a magazine, he turned to her and said ‘please help’ she shook her head and carried on reading. I’m speechless at the level of disinterest. I dealt with Absa for my account and on two occasions I was given outstanding service by two different people who knew exactly how these accounts work.
I received an SMS 1st Dec 'You have 1 free month remaining on your T&B bonus 3 GB data...after which you will be billed R171.74 p.m. To opt out dial *135*140#. Popped into Vodacom to be told it was in my new phone contract. Clever, I'd only skimmed the document, certainly didn't see that! Tried the *135 number, doesn't work. 'Not available, non response number.' Even cleverer! Took time and effort, screaming at a robot, finally speaking to a human to cancel. I reckon 1000s of people have been caught and are spending R171 pm unknowingly
