Yesterday I purchased a ticket with Freeway Coaches for a bus departing Cape Town at 6:30 PM to Johannesburg. My brother arrived early as instructed and waited at the station. By 7:30 PM, there was still no bus and no update from the company. I had to call them myself, only to be told that the bus had a maintenance issue and would not be making the trip to Johannesburg at all. Again, there was no communication sent to passengers. This is extremely frustrating. People arrange transport to the station, spend money getting there, and plan their schedules around these trips. Some passengers might have had work commitments, family emergencies, or even job interviews the next day in Johannesburg. Leaving passengers waiting for an hour with no update and only informing them when they call is unacceptable. Companies should respect their customers and communicate properly when there are cancellations or major delays. Very disappointing service.
Yesterday I booked a ticket with Delta Coaches for my little brother to travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg after already being let down by another bus company. The bus was scheduled to leave Cape Town at 4:10 PM. My brother arrived at the station early and had been waiting there since 2 PM. At 4:10 PM, with no bus in sight and no communication from the company, I had to call customer service myself. The agent initially told me there were no delays she was aware of, but said she would check. A few minutes later she called back and informed me that the bus had actually been moved to 6 PM. My concern is this: why was there no communication sent to passengers about the schedule change? My brother had already been sitting at the station for hours. It’s unfair to leave paying customers stranded without updates and only inform them when they call to ask. Transport companies should respect passengers’ time and ensure clear and proactive communication when schedules change. Very disappointing experience.
I am beyond disappointed with this courier company. I ordered shoes from Mr Price on Friday, with a promised delivery date of Monday before 5PM. By 6PM, there was still no delivery, so I checked the tracking status — only to find an alarming update: “parcel hijacked.” What’s even more frustrating is that there was no communication from the courier company or Mr Price. No apology, no follow-up, no reassurance — nothing. I had to find out myself through the tracking link, and even now, I am still in the dark. This is completely unacceptable. When issues like this arise, the least a customer deserves is clear communication, transparency, and some form of resolution. Instead, I’ve been met with silence. I expected better. A serious review of your customer care and tracking response is urgently needed.
I am beyond frustrated with the service I’ve received from Vumatel. I paid for Wi-Fi on the 10th, and to this day, I still have no working internet. Every time I reach out, I’m told that technicians are being sent, but that’s clearly a lie because nothing has been done. To make matters worse, I contacted Afrihost (since I paid through them), and they told me Vumatel claimed the fibre issue had already been resolved. That is simply not true. There has been no resolution, no communication, and absolutely no sense of urgency from Vumatel’s side. This entire experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I paid for a service and got excuses instead. Vumatel needs to take accountability and actually deliver on what customers are paying for.
Till this day! No one bothered to respond to my emails. I NEED CANCELLATION FORMS OF THIS SERVICE AS IT IS USELESS! And don’t respond and tell me a friendly consultant will call me. I WANT CANCELLATION FORMS!
I’m honestly tired of this company. 2 months later I am still unhappy. All I need right now is cancellation forms or whatever so that this service can be cancelled! I’m tired and I don’t want any debit order going off anymore from next month.
I am highly disappointed in this financial service institution. I was promised that my query/case would be solved in 21 working days. 21 working days has passed and still no joy from them. They have started debiting my account and I am not at peace because there is nothing I am paying for. I have been calling numerous times only to find agents that seem to not know their job and promising callbacks that they do not deliver. I the client everyday have to go through the process of trying to find feedback and not them giving me feedback, so what am I really paying for? I’m disappointed and would not recommend their services as I really feel failed as a client.
I am honestly getting annoyed! I have a package that was sent on the 23rd of April 2024 and to this day there is no update of where it is! It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. My chat is if there’s a delay why is there no communication given? I keep texting WhatsApp and agents don’t even care, they will put you on hold and eventually end the chat. I need my package delivered before the end of this week! No stories!
What pathetic service provider! On the 28th of February I paid for vumatel to reactivate my services after I had been disconnected for over a year. Before paying I asked them if I can be able to order again and they reassured me that I can be able to reactivate my services. They then went on to tell me that I have an active ISP with another provider which I had to find out for myself to cancel that and I don’t remember ever taking other services except with them. Pillar to post trying to call all ISPs with my money and my airtime, let alone my time. It was a long story of that someone took my line and that it was cancelled so since they are a reseller for Afrihost they wouldn’t be able to assist. Fast forward I was told that if it doesn’t work they will process a refund and that was on the 28th still. I then had to still text them to ask for feedback the following day. Was promised a call which I still wait even to this day. I texted the following day and I was informed that they will be able to place the order for me and I should allow 24-48 hours for the reactivation to take place. Monday still no reactivation done I go on to text as always and now I’m being asked for a proof of address. They only responded Tuesday to say they received it and will forward it to Vuma. Isn’t I’m understanding, I went on to be patient and texted Wednesday and was ignored and then I texted today because I was now really getting frustrated and annoyed. They come back and say “ I think we will have to process a refund for you” so are you telling me you couldn’t do this all along when you saw it wasn’t working? And worse an agent goes to say “oh well it happens” and here I am questioning the people they hire at this place and if they really receive customer service training. I am disappointed and so upset because now I have to wait for 14 working days to receive my refund all because someone was *********** at doing their job!
Honestly and truly ****ed off. Being upset is an understatement. Waiting at the Dr with a phone that’s on 5% for over 3 hours for a simple authorisation code. I was never informed of this turnaround time and next thing the drs don’t end chats after calls making it hard for us to go on the app to request. I’m honestly annoyed! We do not pay for such appalling services.
