Incredibly poor service, especially considering the monthly cost of the insurance. I submitted a claim two weeks ago, the site has been inspected by two different evaluators sent by Standard Bank, and still there is no progress with my claim. I have a collapsed boundary wall and there is zero sense of urgency or recognition of the security risk this poses (which is ironic, given that the risk is to my property which is insured by Standard Bank). I have been passed from pillar to post in trying to resolve my claim, and it has reached a stage where they have simply stopped communicating with me entirely. I am seriously considering blocking the debit order they have no issue processing every month, but somehow lose any ability to deliver on the service I have been paying for when the insurance is actually required. The service I pay for is simply not being provided.
Terrible communication, extremely slow service, no updates and totally disinterested staff who frankly do not want to assist at all. Avoid at all costs.
Terrible service and when I raised my issues with the agent I was assigned, Cherrilee Fisher, rather than deal with the issue (she had confirmed an inspector would come out at 3pm and then when I called at 3pm to ask where the inspector was she said she actually hadn't made the necessary arrangements and now she could only arrange for someone to come the next day), she simply reassigned my case to a new agent. I'm only trying to get the bare minimum resolved here, and they can't even get that right. Avoid at all costs.
Incredible support from Adhir - excellent staff member who deserves some serious recognition and reward from the company.
Decent, but always a bit of a struggle to get timeous support on the weekend, and they often have poor service providers for panel beaters, etc. Their support staff are fantastic though. No issue with them, just with the company operating hours and quality of approved 3rd party providers.
Installed a jojo tank and pump and all worked for about 8 months. Now the pump has packed up after less than a year and they have gone completely nonresponsive to my WhatsApps. If they can simply respond to me and replace the pump then I'll be satisfied, but can't even get through to them.
I had scheduled my credit card to be delivered on Monday the 1st of July - they never arrived. I then called them, and was told my card would be delivered on Wednesday the 3rd of July. Again, it never arrived. I called yesterday (Thursday the 4th of July) and was assured I would be called or sent an SMS regarding my card's delivery for either Thursday or Friday. Not once, throughout this entire process has CCD couriers called me or contacted me via SMS. Given how long they've had my credit card and the lack of communication, I'm questioning whether the security of my card has been compromised. I will be contacting FNB this morning to cancel it.
I have been trying to get a tracker installed in my new vehicle and the technician was scheduled to come and do the installation last week. The technician did not show up, no tracker was installed, and when I called I was advised that they will follow up and get back to me. Since last week I have received no feedback whatsoever, and when following up on their official WhatsApp chat I receive no response (also since last week and again this morning). Most concerning is that they have billed me, and on the app the new vehicle is reflecting, but at the totally wrong location, which leads me to believe they have installed a tracker in an entirely different car which does not even belong to me, but which I am now able to track (this is almost certainly a breach of someone's personal information, as I am now able to track their vehicle's whereabouts, so there may be some significant POPIA implications here). I need them to contact me with a solution and install the tracker in the vehicle today, otherwise I am cancelling my contract which includes another car too.
