I am beyond frustrated with Cell C. I have two accounts (084 549 5546 and 062 292 1094) and for months I’ve been trying to fix my debit order date to run only on the 6th of each month. Despite numerous calls, emails, and assurances from Cell C that the issue was resolved, unauthorized debit orders still go off on the 30th AND the 6th. This forces me to reverse one, costing me bank charges, stress, and disruption every single month. Last month, the complaints department once again promised me the matter was fixed. Yet yesterday on the 30th, another unauthorized debit order went off. Clearly, nothing has been resolved. This is not just bad service, it is unfair, *********, and possibly ********. Customers cannot be debited twice a month against their explicit instructions. I demand Cell C immediately: Fix the debit order date to only the 6th. Reimburse me for bank charges AND inconvenience caused. Provide written confirmation this matter will not repeat. I will not hesitate to escalate this to the Banking Ombudsman, PASA, and the NCR if this is not addressed immediately.
I am very unhappy with Cell C’s handling of my debit orders. Despite raising this issue before, the explanations I have received are contradictory and do not make sense. As shown in my screenshot, Cell C claims payment is due at the end of the month for that month, but at the same time a debit order is processed on the 6th for the same period. This effectively results in two deductions for one month, which is unacceptable. According to my agreement, only one debit order per month should be processed, and this should take place on the 6th. I also wish to confirm that, according to me, I am not in arrears. If Cell C believes otherwise, they should provide a clear statement with exact amounts, periods, and dates. To prevent further issues, I have already stopped the incorrect debit orders going off on the 30th. I now want written confirmation that only one debit order will be processed on the 6th of every month going forward. These repeated incorrect deductions have caused unnecessary bank charges and stressful inconvenience. In terms of the Debit Order Rules (PASA) and the National Credit Act (NCA), debit orders may only be processed with customer consent and in line with the agreed terms. Repeated unauthorized deductions are a breach of these regulations. I am extremely frustrated with having to raise this again. If it is not resolved immediately, I will escalate the matter to the Banking Ombudsman, PASA, and the NCR.
I am still waiting for my refund to be paid since 2024. In October an amendment was submitted and granted by SARS, on 6 November 2024 I received notification that my little refund is on hold due to my banking details being verified AFTER I have submitted my proof of banking details, where in fact SARS has previously paid money in to. Then, clockwork= every weekend I get an sms stating that my refund is on hold due to banking details being verified. Where in the interim I have had submitted my banking details proof twice and then keep on getting messages and emails like clockwork every Friday or Saturday, stating my refund is on hold due to banking details being verified and it can take 21 days= that has been since November 2024. Now, I understand that R900 is not a lot of money to SARS, but to me= that is a huge contribution towards my household and taking care of my family. I am just wondering, when this will end.
We like to take our daughter there to spend some family time together. It is always just so much FUN. The market itself, very well layed out, all vendors are always friendly. There is such a nice variety of things. Just so neat, fun, clean..
I have experienced and keep on experiencing, deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received from NDC. This experience has been marked by poor service delivery and a blatant disregard for client satisfaction, which is both disappointing and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect a certain standard of professionalism and responsiveness, neither of which have been met in my case. Despite me complying with all they have asked, the level of service has remained below expectations, leaving me feeling undervalued as a client. This has been going on for months. From initial inception, which was in April 2024.
GrubHouse might not be "romantic".....BUT GrubHouse is the most awesome place that me and my husband can go to WITH OUR KID, enjoy time together as a family and just RELAX. Great service, good food......
We spent a weekend now at Mabalingwe's Kalahari Bush camp. Great friends and good memories. Awesome and neat accommodation. Was a very VERY nice place.
My daughter loves GrubHouse. We took her to GrubHouse for her 9th birthday, with her best friends....over the weekend. The service was great and the atmosphere is amazing. There was a specific waiter, Prince, who served us. He was the sweetest person and he made my daughters day EXTRA SPECIAL. Thank you to GrubHouse, you guys ROCK!!!
I received great service by consolidating my personal loan with Nedbank. It was very professional and good service. Although the banking fees sometimes seems a little high to me, I will forever be a client at Nedbank.
We recently went to Grubhouse with our daughter. She loves it there. We love the music and the atmosphere. It has a great play area as well. We decided that we will have our daughter's 9th birthday there.
