To call Lingela a fast food restaurant is like calling McDonald's a place for dining in with colleagues. This is a very nice, very well-maintained buffet with a wide variety of foods. Each food is amazing, and they even prepare some of the food in front of you. It is a bit expensive at R400, but it is so worth it with some of the things they have to offer. This has to be the best buffet I have been to so far in this country. It is most certainly the best in KZN, and the price is just high enough that it keep out undesirable audiences. Nothing against people who cannot afford it, but there are not a lot of big and loud families, disruptive children, or parties of people during the week. Be careful because on the weekend you do get some of those more uncultured crowds. On my last trip, I found myself being pushed and shoved by people. The only wait to assert yourself is to push and shove those rude, touchy swines to the side (mostly arrogant upper middle class women). Overall, it is a wonerful place for a formal yet messy meal. I would recommend going with someone who you do not mind seeing you ***out.
I am very happy with my Unlimited Voice plan. It has been a great replacement for my work phone since I can just use my cellphone, but I have noticed that in the evenings, when my wifi drops a little bit, so does my call quality. I also occasionally did not receive voicemails, but I realized there is a setting in the 3CX app where you can have them sent to either your email inbox or you can just dial a num to hear them. That confused me for a while and made business come to a halt, but I was helped pretty quickly. Their staff are knowledgeable, so I will give them that.
They are a lovely little stationery store. They are expensive because customs absolutely suck with their regulations even though most of the stuff at PNA cannot be bought in the country anyways, but I digress. I remember always loving the day I get to go school supply shopping there for new pencils, pens, markers, books, etc. I have very fond memories of the shop and visit it for office supplies often. There is something magical about it -- just do not f*ck it up like so many other stores have managed to in the recent past.
I will give Glade a higher rating when they start bringing out new scents to this country. I am so bored by their current catalogue and wish that they would get into holiday spirit more often. We would like peppermint sprays at christmas, pumpkin spice at halloween, chocolate at easter, roses and sweets at valentine's, etc. How about you guys get creative for once rather than giving us just clean linen, lavender, vanilla, strawberries, wood spice, and the ocean.
I love YouTube, but Susan, the CEO, makes me want not to support it any longer. The kind of censorship that she is pushing is disgusting, and I hate the direction in which the company is going. I am all for women in business, but she is no woman. She is a corporate snake pushing the agendas of her puppetmasters. Youtube is shying away from original content and encouraging these 20-something losers to clickbait children just to get to the top for a few years. It has created an unhealthy and unglamourous culture of nobodies looking for their 15 minutes before they end up burning themselves out and ruining their mental health. YouTube is an embarrassment compared to what it was ten years ago.
I am just thankful that audible makes reading so much more exciting and offers many resources that I would say are worth the going rate. You of course get one credit a month, but when you look at all of the radio dramas and free content that you then have access to, the 14USD is totally worth it. I hope that they adjust it for rand, though, because it is a bit expensive considering.
I live in the countryside in the Western Cape on a farm. The best I have ever been able to get with any ISP is about 6Mbps on any uncapped plan, so the Uncapped 5 plan is perfect for me. I save around R700 a month since they offer fixed lines.
They have been deleting negative reviews that contain key words such as broken, returned, or damaged. They have great services, but they should allow us to warn other people of products of poor quality or misrepresented items. How are we to trust that a product we buy is worth the purchase if others cannot warn us first? It would make for fewer returns. That is for sure.
Some guys came to install my dishwasher and ended up tracking mud into the house. They barely communicated with me because they either did not speak English or did not understand my accent. I do not know, but the experience was unpleasant. They were the same ones who took it for repair in the first place. They just came in and out, rushing, doing their own thing. I do not know why, but I was very unsatisfied.
