I have NEVER heard back from Cell C ever! Not even responding to my emails. 6 Jan, 19 Jan 2023 I complained against them deducting an early debit order in December of which I had to carry the banking costs. I have asked them to pay back my banking cost as I phoned them and said that they cannot deduct early as my pay date AS PER my CONTRACT with them shows the 25th of the month. They are NOT answering me at all. Can someone help me with the Ombudsman's details as this is really pathetic service, been a LOYAL client for more than 15 years and this is how I have been treated. And then they reply on Hello Peter that they will be in contact with me - It NEVER happens!
On the 6th of Jan 2023, I wrote a review about Cell C that took an early debit order deduction in December without my consent. Guess what? This is still not sorted out BUT they are sending me sms by the day to rate their service as if this was resolved! And then you give a different reference number each time, after every SMS? What are you busy with? NO Cell C this is not resolved at all, and I will NOT rate you if you have not resolved my issue. You deducted and now I have to pay R105 banking costs? I want my banking costs back even if you think this is a small amount, how many people did you trick with this?????? PATHETIC SERVICE rating you ZERO on a scale from 1 to 10!
So, Cell C decided that EVERYONE got paid on 21 December and sent an SMS saying they would be making an early debit order deduction. I phoned them and told them that I am not paying on the 21st to keep my debit order as is per my contract. They could not give me a ref nr and just said not to worry, they will deduct the end of the month if the debit order fails. And so it happened, they still deducted the 21st, SMS me to tell me there are no funds and I must please pay!!!!! REALLY CELL C?????? The previous years we had the option to say YES OR NO on the SMS! So yes, guess what now..... I want MY money back in my personal account for the banking costs. And all I hear is 10 000 stories that the "manager" must reply to the email, they have mailed the "manager" and there we are stuck! My debit order went through at the end of the month I am not in debt, you were quick to debit early but so slow to pay MY MONEY back! Just imagine all the banking costs of millions of customers (fun!!!) I have NEVER given permission for an early debit order. This is not on Cell C!!!! What are you going to do about this? How long must I phone and follow up with NO answer from you? Pathetic service
From Feb 2022 up until today 8 Nov, we have been ordering a certain part from Defy. MANY emails, even visiting them in person, with no luck. On 28 Sept the answer was "We are still waiting on an ETA" 9 months to wait for a little part? This is ridiculous! How does Defy expect the public to buy from them if they cannot even supply a part? I am really not impressed at all, it's bad after-service!
I have been struggling for 4months now with Cell C to clear my name after they wrongly accused me of an outstanding amount on my account. If I phone several times just to hear I am not in arrears but they are not clearing my name at the debt collector CSS. I am spammed with Emails, calls, WhatsApp all the time to pay debt that I have never had. I have even phoned Cell C fraud to see if some one opened a false account against my name. I phoned cell C legal department and they just do not phone or answer my emails. I am so frustrated as this is all your mistake, and now I have to struggle to clear my name! You made the mistake and I want this fixed within this week, I even logged a call to the ombudsman. Nothing is happening? My one contract is coming to an end in June and I will surely NOT take out another. Your service is pathetic!
