My experience with this company can be described in a few words, “empty promises and dishonesty”.
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a certain Trishen Pillay of RTS Global Trading. This guy purports to do electrical works and being supplier of solar equipment. Long story short, he claimed to get me solar equipment after intercepting my message on a WhatsApp group asking for leads. He then claims “ his supplier has a discount” on the item and requires an urgent deposit to secure. He even sends an official invoice making it look legit. After paying said deposit, the ETA of the equipment comes and goes, days then weeks pass with today and tomorrow promises. It soon becomes evident of the **** and then it becomes a cat and mouse game and a real nightmare. At the time of writing this review (after weeks) I managed to get 80% of my money back from him after sending an official DOJ letter of demand and threatening to lay ***** charges at the SAPS. I am still busy with recovery of the balance of my money. This individual misrepresents himself and takes peoples money. He operates in Pietermaritzburg and Durban and trades under the pseudonym RTS Global Trading.
I was ****med by the owner of this purported business named Trishen Pillay. He de*****ed me of R1500 claiming to be able to supply solar equipment. The equipment never arrives and his he became unreachable telephonically. Beware of this individual, he operates in the PMB and DBN areas. He claims to do electrical and CCTVs etc. I have since opened a case of ***** and am pursuing legal action.
I sent an expensive Tommy Hilfiger jacket to this laundrette for dry cleaning. It came back severely damaged and they denied responsibility for the damage. The jacket looked like they physically machine washed and tumble dried it instead of dry cleaning it. They are a very unprofessional bunch and will leave you extremely disappointed. I am now taking legal action against them as they chose to abdicate any responsibility for their actions.
Hidden fees not declared anywhere on website. They charge tokenisation fees each time a card is added to profile.
This business charges customer fees that are not declared or visible anywhere on during the payment process. You only become aware of the hidden charges related to linking of cards and accounts afterwards. They call it tokenisation.
I had an awful and horrible experience dealing with “Xclusive tiles” in Clough Street Pietermaritzburg. I was sold sub-standard tiles under the premise it was “first grade” during a so called “special”. Throughout the return process and numerous phone calls to them, all I encountered from them was dishonesty and unprofessionalism. I eventually received a replacement batch of sub-standard tiles at the end; of which I was basically forced to collect at my own cost. I found the managements attitude appalling and he chose to abdicate responsibility after the sale. Since when does buying a first grade item on special infer that it has to be defective? The whole fiasco was a major inconvenience to me that costed me dearly. Never again! An Xclusive lesson learnt.....!!
The complaint regards The MTN store at Woodburne center in Pietermaritzburg. The staff at this store are useless. They always have excuses of why they cannot process a deal in the latest mtn catalogue. Excuses include, manger not available to override system, manger will be available tomorrow, profile hasn’t been moved over to new system etc. Generally staff at this store cannot assist with anything on all the occasions that I have visited them. The staff seem to lack training and seem downright lost and continuously refer customers to midlands mall branch. On my last visit I went there to purchase a month to month data deal, I was shocked beyond belief when I was referred to midlands mall as the manager was not available to “link” my profile. The nonsense received from staff members at this store is insanely hilarious and unprofessional.
I purchased a black and decker drilling machine from makro on the 25th November 2016. 10 months later the drill goes faulty with the gears/ gearbox being the issue. When I returned it well within the warranty period I was told the damage was not covered!!! How can the most important part of the drill not be covered? I found this feedback utterly disgusting and unprofessional from Makro. It seems they have got a third party repairer to make assumptions on the repairs. I was told there were exclusions in the warranty which I have not found to be valid. So my question is how can a large retailer fabricate cheap excuses to get out of a warranty claim at the expense of a customer? I have not yet collected the item as I will now escalate to the ombudsman for further action.
Today this *** called Digicash debit my account for r299. I had no dealings or signed any contracts in the past 4 months so I am eager to see which \so called"merchant you are dealing with. Your modus operandi is becoming a lot clear to me now. I will get the ombud involved in this. I want to know what this transaction is for asap. <br> """
