I bought a fridge from makro cornubia on the 16th November 2025 and they delivered it Tuesday the 18th November 2025. Upon inspection of the fridge I noticed it was slanting one side and wasn't standing flat on the ground. This was after I removed the packaging n all and placed the fridge in the desired place I wanted it to be. A metal piece which helps keep the fridge upright was missing from underneath and I believe it was a factory defect and I'm so appalled by makro cornubia for not checking their stock. I sent the fridge back with the delivery guys the same day and I tried several times to contact anybody from the appliance department to help me get an exchange and deliver it soon. I spoke to a manager named Tugela from appliance department he said he will make my delivery the first for Thursday 20th November. Right now I'm still waiting. After all the inconveniences I went through because of makro I'm truly disgusted how bad their customer service is although this is a free delivery they show no interest to assist customers. They own employees in the appliance department are not helpful although this isn't my fault I'm the customer I'm suppose to get the item thats proper. Unfortunately I wouldn't buy from makro cornubia again they are truly bad bad. I don't recommend this place to anybody watch out if it's free delivery they take you for a ride and make sure you check your items throughly before signing it off for them.
On the 7th of June I went to pick n pay Cornubia to do shopping as I was doing my shopping I came across a deal for the donuts 2 for R16 and the long donuts 2 for R30 so I took those items. The employees working at the bakery never mentioned I needed a code on it. I proceeded to the teller to pay for my items the cashier said I needed a code on it I told her they didn't mention that to me. So she asked another guy to get a price on it but when it came back it didn't come back with the special prices that I said above. I was shocked and apolled at how they are misleading the customers in that store . She began scanning my items and me and my spouse was unhappy as our kids wanted the donuts so we told her that those donuts were on special and that theirs no communication amongst them all. She called a supervisor and with all due respect the cashier and supervisor are Black and were speaking in their own language the supervisor didn't greet us nothing I don't know what sort of behaviour this was. The supervisor started to adjust the prices to the correct special prices but she never apologised to us nothing they didn't communicate with us. This is pathetic customer service from the stuff of pick n pay Cornubia. I'd rather shop at pick n pay cresent they much more friendly helpful. Becareful customers of being mislead at pick n pay cornubia
My car was stuck at Crompton road. I didn't panic because I knew I had kingprice who I alerted about my breakdown and within 15 minutes a tow truck came to assist me. Kingprice as always being my insurance I had and will always stick to them. I've had a polo Vivo which got ****** kingprice paid me out within two weeks and now I have a Hyundai i30 I got it insured with them without thinking twice. Extremely happy with them. Keep up the good work Kingprice and I'd recommend them to anyone.
I put a screen guard on my honor 200lite on the 15 August 2024. I noticed after I left the store it was out incorrectly it wasn't aligned so I went back to the store the next day as my wife also wanted a screen guard they put a matt finish one for her but when I queried about mine they were rude arrogant and the lady by the name of Sharon using glasses was giving me attitude and didn't want to fix the incorrect screen guard. She was the person who told me if I have any problems I must bring it back. I spoke to their manager after 10mins of shouting as customer service was poor poor. The manager was submissive and defending himself unfriendly not a good manager at all. I had to deliberate for 20mins with him to help fix the screen guard I paid R250 for I told him I want a new one which was R199 I didn't pay anything but the problem was they were very difficult. They say they not trained to put screen guards but yet they got a machine and everything but still they can't do a proper job when putting it yet we pay so much for these screen protectors. Terrible store worst cell phone shop ever
Triple Dz Fast Foods situated by westham near unit 10 clinic. Poor service as we ordered one mutton breyani with Soji and coke for delivery at 4pm and they nevwer pitched up and when we phoned them they didnt apologise nothing they cut the call on us. They say They still waiting for a driver. All workers at triple Dz fast foods are a bunch of ****s
Went spur gateway on the 19 June 2023. I asked waitor to bring a doggie bag and had to wait 15mins for that and if my wife didn't wake up and ask them that they're service is so bad and all that happened while my daughter is screaming and crying and they had audacity to laugh at my wife and child as they walk out. Absolutely ridiculous behavior from their stuff. There own workers gave us bad looks like we were wrong, simply disgraceful from such a big franchise they need to train their stuff properly. When my wife walked outside they approached her with toys to bribe my daughter and tool her number down saying the manager will call her. They ignored us completely and nobody came to ask if we okay if we need anything. Spur really brought a bad name upon themselves. Spur in gateway totally no go area bad waiters bad service they'll laugh at u even if u stand up and speak if something is wrong.
Went to my Diners Gateway for a father's day lunch after the ecr big walk. Poor service inorderd two beans bunnies but the waiters didn't notice us for 20mins. They was serving other customers but we ordered just two bunnies and waited for 30mins. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there it's like if u buy for less they don't notice u. Other people who were buying big meals were getting served. Will never go their again.
The nail shop opposite just undies in durban phoenix plaza, my wife went their and was treated harshly by the workers. She felt they was rude and they didn't help her looking for the color she needed to do her nails. Really pathetic considering they just opened recently. Coming from a man who as a wife who does her nails all the time I wouldn't recommend this place. Because it's a new shop we wanted to try but we rather stick to the place we usually go by.
I ordered a gift yesterday for my wife and it arrived today to her at her workplace. Excellent work from Netflorist. Would recommend them to anyone from any province. I'm from pta and sent a gift to dbn.
