Phoned in and after struggling to get hold of someone to asked for relevant technical person to phone after we got stuck next to the road after collecting the vehicle from Hyundai, I had to phone again a hour later after no one phoned me. In the end I got hold of the mechanic who worked on the vehicle, but had a terrible experience from this workshop (mechanic), very arrogant and uncooperative, put the phone down while i was talking. Needed to phone 3 or 4 times just to get through to someone, and multiple times after that. Still waiting for someone to get back to me. Pathetic response. Their parts department is tops though.
This is pertaining to their services or products per se, but rather the fact that the South African government confiscate their shipments to South African clients. One can only import their products if you are a registered health practitioner of some sorts. South African clients should be informed about this fact, I lost nearly R3000 because of the confiscation of my order by our love ANC government.
There is a reason why these guys got the best dealership award. Their service is exceptional, what a pleasure it has been!! They went out of their way to assist me with my vehicle's issues.
We sent a Mahindra bakkie for an engine rebuild. Three weeks later we received the bakkie back from Jacques from Vos Auto Services in Pretoria North. Stopped back home (on brand new paving) only to realize the engine had at least 5 different diesel leaks, lack of power, engine warning light on and missing/wrong bolts on various places. He obviously did no oversight when his laborers assembled the engine. Needless to say, at least 3sqm of paving needs replacement after all tge diesel leaks. But the worst was the reaction of Jacques, all sorts of excuses and lies why he can’t come and collect the bakkie from our home in Pretoria East. In the end he did come, and later the day indicated that the bakkie is ready. I ask him to bring it back please, at first he ignored me, and after some more prodding, he told me to come and fetch it myself. Be careful of this business.
Ordered a 2013 VW Touareg grille from them, but couldn't check it as the vehicle was a wreck. We only starting to assemble a few weeks later and found out the grille is incorrect. It's still in It's original packaging, and I was will to pay the difference for the correct one. But flatly refuse to exchange it for me. Absolutely pathetic, will never buy from them again. And I do quite a few vehicles per year, stupid decision and policy on their side. Loose loose situation, could have been a win-win situation.
It always seems like these guys are doing one a favor when ordering tanks. Very poor communication, service and customer interaction. Tried two branches, but same pathetic service.
Ordered a part two weeks ago, website promised 5 to 7 business days for delivery. After two weeks nothing, they don't respond to any emails, and to try to phone them is next to impossible. They are always busy, with no consultants to assist, every time i tried to phone i got cut off after 3min holding. Never again.
Guys, I realize BBBEE is currently still a reality, but please, you can't put a bunch of black ladie on parts, yhey really have no clue!!!!
Went out to celebrate our daughter's graduation tonight. Ordered our food quite late after most patrons have eaten or were busy finishing up, with many started to leave, but we still waited nearly 30min for our food. When our food arrived, the waiter made a mistake with our daughter's food whom we celebrated the evening. Her food took about 10min to arrive, the rest of us were halfway through our food. Furthermore, I ordered a medium steak/rib combo, and got a steak totally well done, even burnt on some edges. Waiter did asked me if he can exchange it, which I declined because I didn't want to wait another 20min. The whole dining out was already spoiled because my daughter was eating a salad while the rest of us continued eating afraid our food would get cold. This all spoiled an evening which was supposed to be remembered for our daughter's graduation celebration. They even wanted to charge me fully for my rib/steak combo, which I refused to pay, in the end they charged me for 500g ribs only. When I confronted the manager, he acted like he knew nothing about the whole incident, which is BS as the waiter told me he talked to the manager regarding our bill. There are many restaurants to choose from, mistakes happen, but to treat a situation like this is a real disappointment. This was my last time going there.
Another year gone by, nothing has changed, still very unsatisfactory service from certain people at BMG Silverton. So much so that I have now been blocked on WhatsApp, which I need to use often for urgent orders. Need to look for alternative suppliers who value good customer service and support.
