It is such a pleasure to write this complement, I would like to applaud Sibusiso and his team for the exceptional service they offer. There's no a dull moment when you go to the store, they forever willing to assist. Not forgetting Dougmore and Lethabo for their patience. I know dealing with customers can be a pain sometimes but they are always consistent with their services. May you all keep up the good work and keep on striving.
I would like to warn people about this company especially elderly people not to fall pray in this scheming company. My mom is the of their ****, she was approached in the streets and for some reason got convinced by the sales agent to sign up. They agreed to start deducting on the 15th each month but instead they did it end on the month. When she called to ask them to reverse her R424, she was told that's impossible. She went to her bank to try reversing, they also couldn't assist her. My question is how can they incorrectly deduct money into her account, when there was no agreement. The next thing they don't want to reverse her money??. So pathetic!!? I warned her about giving strangers her banking details, infact how do we even know if they really exist or just a money making scheme. The next thing they vanish with clients money after reaching their target who knows..
So as a single mom I have decided to take my hard earned R299 and decided to sign up for a freelance job on the 23rd Sep 2023. For obvious reasons being making extra cash. Was promised to be activated within 24 hours, only to get an email on the 26th saying the below: We have thoroughly investigated the issue causing the delay in activating your account, and unfortunately, we have determined that we are unable to resolve the issue. As a result, we have initiated a refund for the full amount of your purchase. You should expect to receive the refund in the next 7 business days. We understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we are truly sorry for any disappointment this may have caused. 7 days later no refund was done and clearly I have fall victim of a ****. I have always been skeptical of upfront fees for jobs but when I checked most of the reviews about this company sounded convincing. Clearly they pray on the vulnerable, a true wake up call imagine if it was more money.. PLEASE DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR ENERGY AND MONEY BY SIGNING UP FOR THIS ****!!!
So I signed up with rain in May this year, reason being that I didn't want a binding contract. According to my understanding it works as pay as you use, now due to life challenges I didnt make payment for 2 months and my services were suspended already. Now in September I decided to pay R559 so that I can get reconnected, on the App it showed that I need to pay only R559 which I did on the 23rd Sep. Only to get an texted on the 25th that I owe R595 and my services were suspended 🙃, just like that as if money falls from trees. No invoice showing that I made payment when I check on the App. Confused as I write this complaint, I called the call center held on for long and being told that I was invoiced. Now how can I be invoiced when I didn't sign a monthly contract? And I paid before hand to reconnect, can someone explain or give me a call. Pay as you use is exactly like Dstv etc, when you don't pay your services get suspended and when you pay you get reconnected. Otherwise I will have to look for wifi packages that does not bind me And rather refund me my R559 please. I am so disappointed just when I was recommending rain to my friends and relatives after this I will definitely not.
Scam scam scam!! I would like to warn people about this company, they will sell you a dream deduct money from my account and never paid a single cent as per arrangements. My debts are still like that nothing has changed in the 1 year that i signed up with. No support whatsoever when I told them that I was retrenched, instead was told that my services were suspended when I checked with my creditors. They confirmed that they were defaulting on payments, I wondered what they were doing with the monthly installments that was initially agreed. Had I knew beforehand I would have rather made payment arrangements to all my creditors instead of using this poor service company. Lesson learned!!! Be warned
