If I could give them minus stars I would. We sent at least 4 watches back because they arrived broken every time - either the second hand not working, the strap was breaking, one time the whole mechanism inside the watch had fallen skew and the hands fell off. We now have 2 broken smael watches because one was delivered and the one we were returning wasn't picked up. No one at the company will return communications to give us a refund. This was my son's birthday present in April. He still has no birthday present so for Christmas getting him a Casio watch to make up for Birthday and will have to get a Christmas present too. I have no idea how this company is still in business when their product doesn't work
I recently had an issue with an internet company that caused me endless stress trying to return a product that was broken and ultimately never refunded me or sorted me out. So it was a pleasure to receive an item from takealot that was too small and just be able to go to their returns tab and organise a bigger size in literally less than a minute. And right away I got confirmation that my item is on the way. In a world where stupid admin takes up all our time and good will and peace of mind, companies that work efficiently and humanely deserve a Nobel prize
Bought my boy the executive watch for his 15th birthday. First the wrong colour was delivered and it was very quickly returned and the correct colour was sent. Wonderful I thought. But then I realised the small strap that keeps the strap in place was broken. Again, quickly replaced. But now the second hand didn't work. For all 3 watches the correct manual was never sent - it was for a sports watch with completely different functions. We kept asking for it and searched the internet for the right one. Even though the second hand didn't work my son wore the watch to a function and the strap broke, the watch fell and the mechanism shifted. I asked for a refund and was given an address in Kynsna to send the watch. No one has ever picked it up that side, the number I was given no longer exists. The numbers on their website don't work. I've mailed customer services with no response and messaged Facebook and got an automated response telling me to mail customer support. The watch looks beautiful, my son so wanted it. But the quality is shoddy. R800 down the drain and I'm going off to buy a Casio instead
My parcel has been sitting at a hotel reception in Venice awaiting collection for 10 days now. Every day my tracking status simply says 'collection rearranged'. No one has been able to assist me to get it collected and delivered. This is a partnership between ABC Parcels and BRT. Every time I let them know the parcel is still there, they simply rearrange collection. This is a gift that I took a year to hand-make, not of much monetary value but precious to me. It's very distressing
I bought a pair of trousers and then exchanged them for a different size. In order to do the exchange I had to fill out all my details, including my ID number, email, etc. Why??? Why do you need my id number to swap a pair of pants? Since doing so I have been receiving marketing emails from Exact and sister companies Jet, Stern etc. The unsubscribe button don't work. Why did you force me to give you my data and then shared it around? I don't trust you at all and have no reason to return to your store or any of your related companies

never trust these guys. Takes months to learn that they've activated all sorts of costs and subscriptions you don't agree to. I got my first bill it was R7000, they said it was data I had agreed to, meanwhile I got the cheapest top up contract I could find. Guy in the vodacom shop agreed it was a wrong charge & said people should never apply for contracts on line because the reps always do these things. But he never sorted out the problem. I get consultants calling me regularly saying I owe thousands and I tell them I was charged erroneously and then the next consultant calls with the same story. Been going on for 2 years. Its now gone to debt collectors. Have been in to the shop, called, written to customer care, no one ever takes it further. Now my mother just realised her data is disappearing and called to find out she's subscribed to pray services for R15 a week and NBA league for R7 a day.She's not a christian and definitely doesn't watch NBA league. They just ****mers and have no customer care to deal with the ****s they pull.
Excellent service and help desks that work do actually exist! The Milnerton branch was a pleasure to engage with after a glitch caused my order to go through 4 times. They called me to organise the refund, help desk was responsive and effective and Milnerton called back to make sure my money had come through. We love their pizzas too
If I could give a minus star I would do it. I opened a youth account connected to my own account 2 months ago and have spent endless hours trying to get it fica'd to no avail. Their fees are exorbitant and customer care non-existent. I have now closed the youth account that's never worked, closed my 20+ year transmission account and moved to Capitec
Signed up for credit & the process was hellish because the website doesn't work properly. After a million different error messages, eventually got a message that I had been pre-approved for a certain amount but needed to send through certain documents. 3 days later still getting messages to send the documents which I have done several times. The help desk number puts me on hold and then cuts off. Whoever designed this system is a sadist and is losing mobicred business
