I was interviewed for a new role at Afrocentric group by Palesa Mbali group, HR promised to call me back after 2 weeks with feedback but they never did. I find this UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, & ILL MANNERED! I have sent them follow up emails, and tried calling but there's response. What frustrates me is that I had to spend thousands of Rands on traveling to get to the interview venue (company offices) as it was in a different province then the one I currently live in. The least they could do is justify my interview with some feedback, whether positive or negative. The worst part is that this kind of behavior is happening to me for the second time, maybe it's a new trend where corporate organizations interview candidates and then ghost them immediately after that with no care about them. I am honestly baffled by this kind of behavior especially coming from an organization of this caliber. I was interviewed by a panel of three people, namely; Anathi Sinxi, Dilshaad Peterson & Ncumisa Zandamela. I tried reaching out but my call were rejected.

My experience with the brand is always a good one. I love Woolworths.
The new Showmax App is bad. It is sh**ty. It takes forever to download content. It is slow and sometimes freezes out of the blue. Episodes of shows like “The River” are now being uploaded at “Midnight” which is unusual in comparison to the previous Showmax App. I rate this new Showmax App a 4/10. Like seriously guys? You would have done a better job at upgrading the App. It is just well branded and stylish, as for the operation of the App, it is a fail!
I was interviewed for a graduate position in August/2023 by officials from Twizza through Teams. They promised to give me feedback a week later, I have not yet received a single message from them to this day. I tried sending emails and calling but still no response. They are unprofessional and ill mannered.
It is a great company to work for. They offer competitive incentives, furthermore I liked the fact that the department I worked at was very pro-youth. I worked as an Omni Channel Consultant for 12 months, the hours were a bit hectic but manageable. And I feel like my time there was short lived because I would have loved to learn more about their business model and products. I also would have loved to be absorbed as a permanent staff unfortunately I didn’t. Overall it is a good organisation🙂.
The staff was very impressive because they attended to me after every few minutes while I was dining alone there. The food was fresh and the environment is safe.
I rate the UJ finance department a 0 out of 10. I have been applying for a refund of my overpaid tuition fees since 2020, 2 years later I am yet to receive my refund funds. They keep asking me for different documents each time I apply for a refund, I have provided them with all the documents they requested thus far, but they still fail to resolve my issue. So much for being a top 5 University in South Africa! And to add on to that when it is time for them to collect tuitions fees from students, they are too quick to send threats of deregistering students if payments are not made on time. But when it is their time to pay students what's due to them, they turn a blind eye.
I am still waiting for my graduation digital pictures, which took place on the 21/July/2022. I was promised it would take +-30 days to deliver, it is now over 4 months. The only communication I received is an SMS stating there is a delay. I am not at all impressed with the services offered especially when I paid for all my pictures in full. I would not recommend using Gordon Harris Photographic services in the future if this is how they treat their customers.
